All your senses will be captivated! For such a busy restaurant, the staff treats every person individually as the most the important person in the room. The atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous and Lee provided wonderful music of artists such as Elton John, Billy Joel, Eagles and James Taylor. And all this was just during out wait to be seated! Once we sat down at our table, our server was attentive and knowledgeable. We had the Bruschetta as an appetizer(OMG!) Basil Pesto Pasta w/Meatballs. I enjoyed a Reisling(or two or three) while my husband tried a beer called Revolver: Blood and Honey(brewed in Grandbury, TX). I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone for a fantastic date night.

Wow, just wow. Management, specifically Stephanie Wood, was outstanding when we had an issue. She went over, above and WAY beyond insuring we were happy and totally satisfied. Pizzas are fantastic! Wine menu is huge. But the service is the key reason we are now very loyal customers.

We had reservations here as we had been here before and thought it was decent for the price. We arrived on time. The only table they had for us was right beside the hostess station and so close to the awful sounding live music, you could barely hear each other while yelling. I asked for a different table and there were no other options offered. We walked out and drove to Winewood. Better food, service, and had a nice table in 10 mins.

I’ve been coming to Farina’s since summer 2015. I have to say, there food is great! But today I ordered the chicken margherita pizza($ 12.39) to go. I lifted up one slice and a spider crawled out. I’m fidgeting just typing this.(I hate spiders, especially on my pizza) I would suggest that the restaurant shake the boxes, check inside, I don’t know, something before sending food out.(Good money wasted)

Wanted to set up a wine tasting and lunch event for a large crowd. Farina’s treated us like we were the only people there. Emily was wonderful to work with and we were able to make several specialty pizza selections(try the Spaghetti pizza… you’ll be so glad you did)! Loved, loved, loved their wine selections! Everyone in our group was very happy with the event and we are already asking when we’re going to do it again! Thank you Farina’s… we’ll be back!!!

Went during Happy Hour during an u expected layover in Dallas. Wine was delicious and so was the food. We had the bruschetta and Farina’s Italian Salad with meatballs. Great dressing on the salad. Teresa was friendly and very attentive. Would come back.

Great location and easy access; if you’re ok with pasta, ok; if you want some variety outside of pasta-based dishes, then pass – go to Brios in Southlake. My lasagna was about a 6 or 7 – I’ve had better and for a lot less $$$, but… you pay for the ambiance and setting…

The Lasagna was good, but other food was sub par. Not only that, they literally kicked us out at 9pm. We didn’t realize we were one of the last ones dining and they brought us styrofoam cups so they could wash dishes and then came and took our candle off the table… basically everything so they could leave instead of just telling us they were closing etc. I’ve never experienced that at a restaurant.

Came here for a date night from Dallas to try something a little out of the ordinary. We started with a leisurely stroll along Main Street expecting to stop at a number of wineries to have tastings before going to dinner. To our surprise there were not many winery options so we drank wine on the front patio of Farina’s. The«front patio» is more like 3 tables and chairs set-up. Not exactly that charming but not terrible either. I’m no wine expert but the Pinot Noir I had was very nice. We moved inside for dinner so we could enjoy the live music and more romantic ambiance. The staff was very accommodating– transferring our tab from outside to inside and seating us away from the live music per request so we could hear each other speaking. Our waitress was new but we really enjoyed her sense of humor. The drinking water is just plain gross. I asked for a bottle of water and they did not have any so I asked for a Coke instead. They brought me a can of Coke. I never understand why restaurants do this, especially nice restaurants. The spinach artichoke dip we ordered never came out so the waitress put in a new order while we ate our entrees and comp’ed it for us. It was tasty but the pita was too crunchy(like pita chips out of a bag) and I would have enjoyed it more with softer pita or Italian bruchetta-style bread. Our starter salads were good-nothing out of the ordinary. I ordered the Pesto Penne with meatball– way too much of the same flavor in every bite– I wish they served it with veggies or something to add another flavor note. My husband had fish– he liked it alright but it was not overly flavorful. The prices, I thought, were very reasonable. All-in-all, the service and ambiance were a little better than the food itself. With a few adjustments to the menu, this could be an even better restaurant.

Farina’s is one of our favorite girls night out place to meet up. It’s centrally location and usually has live music. We love sharing the lasagna and cheese platter. It’s perfect for two people along with a bottle of Chianti or frozen Sangria. Check out the hidden gem of a patio they have outback. Great for those perfect Spring and Fall evenings in Texas.

This is my fourth time going to Farina’s in about the 3 years that I have been living here. I will say if you want to go to a place that if fun, but intimate and has a nice atmosphere definitely go here! Be warned their food is not the best, but the prices are great and their portions are huge. The Service can also be very spotty! We went on Saturday night around 7:30 and had a 30 min wait. The place was packed and it looks more packed than it is because the front of the restaurant is so small, but some bar stools opened up and those are so comfortable we almost stayed there for dinner! We ate the cheese plate, soup, spaghetti and meatballs and the shrimp scampi. In the four times we have gone there the shrimp scampi has always been the best by far. The pesto dish is the only one I have had that I would NOT recommend. Also the spaghetti is very regular and the meatballs need more flavor(fennel). Their sangria is super yummy! So go with an open mind and enjoy, but prompt service and seating you will not find, but the live music Thursday — Saturday makes it worth it.

This place is amazing. They totally accommodated our party of 7 with no reservations. We originally had put out name in at Big Fish Grill and Bar when I put our name down they estimated thirty minutes. We waited for the thirty minutes and then was told it would be two hours. So we came to Farina’s and they showed us top notch service from Ariel she is amazing. The food was great. I would strongly recommend the fine establishment.

Very good food and service. I had the Southwest chicken salad and was very happy. Others in our group had the spaghetti pizza. Another great choice. It is really surprising how good this pizza is. Thin and crispy crust. Everyone had a great time.

Stop in for lunch. Good food and great service. Nice atmosphere so a good place to meet up for a glass of wine or another type of drink. Could be a nice place for date night

Great patio, food and service! Their house salad is my favorite! The ambiance is great– whether you’re inside at lunch, it’s a busy Friday night or hanging out on the patio. Can’t go wrong with their spinach dip appetizer, spaghetti pizza and the house salad!

You must try the spaghetti pizza! Monday — Friday, 4:30 — 6:30pm is happy hour and you’ll get half-price pizza and good deals on wine. They have a patio in the back with great ambiance. Perfect place for a girls night!

I’ve been here twice so far — both times it’s been great. I’ve had the blue cheese burger at lunch time, it was pretty good. The other night I had the pesto penne with meatballs, it was GREAT. The patio is nice during the day and at night. Service is always excellent too. Highly recommended this place.

We went again at happy hour only to be ignored by a hostess for a good 5 minutes then promptly told, there’s no available seats right now. Then she walked away! No mention of a wait time, or I’ll take your name… just nope, sorry. So, I haven’t been back and won’t be. Rude doesn’t look good on anyone, even in Grapevine sweetheart.

My previous review mentioned our disappointment in the wine at farina’s. While I still do not think that Farina’s should be labeled as a winery, we did thoroughly enjoy our lunch there on Saturday. My hubby ordered the chicken Alfredo, my in-laws each had lasagna and I ordered the turkey sandwich. The pasta dishes came with a house salad. We were all blown away by the salad. It was delicious! My sandwich was also delicious. I liked that they put a layer of cream cheese on top of the turkey. I would definitely eat here again.
