We ate there a while back and were very impressed with the baked beans and the choice of sauces — all good! The pulled pork was also excellent. But we went back last week and were shocked by the electronic checkout procedure that requires you to leave a tip or a fixed percentage. We didn’t like that. We always leave a generous tip, but we don’t like to be forced on us or being restricted to a set percentage. If there’s away around the preset choices, we couldn’t find it. We won’t be back.

Hoppin’ little place, great food and friendly staff. Had the pulled pork sandwich with their sweet and smokey bbq sauce. Amazing! Husband said western burger was good too! Service was a little slow. We would definitely come back again!

Unbelievably good food! Have tried the ribs, burgers, and several sandwiches as well as most of the sides. All of the food is fabulous! The family/​staff running it are super nice and always make us feel welcome. Casual and relaxing place to concentrate on the grub!

After hearing good things, I decided to try them out… a good decision! I got a smoked chicken and a pulled pork sandwich. Both with fries, got 2 different BBQ sauces… this was as a takeout order, order came out quick, nicely packed for travel. When I mentioned this was my first time here, a lady was kind enough to mention BBQ sauce choices, and also asked if I’d picked up a to go menu. Smoked chicken quite good, pulled pork even better. First impression, friendly nice people, who seem to want repeat business.

Looking for some of the best BBQ you will ever have? Then look no further! Everything from the service to the food itself was absolutely wonderful! The portions are perfect and everything was so fresh. Even my hubby loved it and he is a huge BBQ snob. Great find and we’ll definitely be back!

Far and long have I traveled in search of barbecue that would even come close to the fall off the bone melt in your mouth pork that is known as Carolina barbecue. I have tried hundreds. I have tasted ribs, pork, chicken and turkey in more restaurants and side of the road joints than I can remember. This is the best I have had west of the Mississippi. The ribs were amazing. No sauce needed. The smoked flavor will consume you in all aspects. You will feel it in your heart and soul. You will dream of it. Crave it. I already do and I just left. So please, give it a go. No matter what you try don’t use sauce at first. You may actually prefer it.
Oh and if you are a fan of ranch dressing you will love their in house made ranch. It’s amazing. You’ll be roped in by its pungent flavor.

Papa’s is just a good solid place to go for friendly, home cooking. They’ve got really good biscuits and gravy. Yes, the pulled pork is delicious. The homefries are crispy and delicious. All the BBQ sauces are homemade and very tasty. If I was a big fan of American home cooking, this would be my favorite place. I just tend to like exotic, foreign cuisines more, so it’s a matter of my own tastes. You will not be disappointed with a meal here.

We’ve been coming to Papa’s for at least 6 months now, usually for breakfast which is always great. The chef always does my eggs the right way that I order them. We just tried their fish and chips and the tri-​tip sandwich from the Senior Menu. More than enough food for us (I always bring something home). My husband said he will be ordering the tri-​tip again and I loved the taste of the fish and the batter was wonderful.
Wendy is a very personable person and always cheerful.

Papas Café & Bbq is a little localy-​owned mom and pop shop. The food was great, the service was very friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant was immaculate. Its not a big place, and kinda hidden, but definately worth the stop. Its truely a diamond in the rough
