The owner of the store did a beautiful job framing old family photos for me. He also arranged small photos into beautiful multi-photo frames. The work was all custom and he did a lovely job. He even typed up what was written on the backs of the photos and included that when I picked up all the finished products. I hadn’t thought to ask for that so it was very thoughtful! I put my family’s priceless(to us) photos in his hands and he treated them with love and care.

Terrible customer service!!! Went to get a pic framed. Picked out frame based on color and width. Couple week later got a call saying pic was ready but the frame I chose was discontinued and he framed it with another frame he chose because the color was«close» AREYOUKIDDINGME?!! No phone call asking me to come in and reselect(I work 5 minutes away and he obviously has my phone number), just assumed he new what I wanted for my CUSTOM framing job. Well he got it wrong. Picked another since I paid him cash up front(my mistake). Called a couple weeks later to see if it was ready. Told it would be ready«next week». Went in a couple weeks after that and it was ready to pick up — NOPHONECALLAGAIN from him. Obviously he has NO idea of how to run a business. I won’t ever go back.

I bought a nice piece of art while out of town and decided that it deserved to be custom framed. I looked high and low around the area to find a custom framing store and ended up at Meadowlark. Let me start by clarifying the term«gallery» in the title; sure it has overly-high priced, tacky prints around the floor, but does that make it a «gallery?» I think not… either that or we have very different ideas of what a gallery is. Unfortunately many of the framing samples are located behind the counter, so a customer can’t actually wander around and choose samples to tinker with. The matting options and colors were kept behind the desk as well, again making the decision process more difficult. The man working there wasn’t rude, but wasn’t exactly helpful either. They do have some unique options for frames though, which was nice. My other complaint is that there was a two week waiting period before I could pick up my order. Typically I don’t mind waiting for a good product, but when the pick up date rolled around, I called the store and my order still wasn’t ready. Ugh! I may end up taking other pieces here to get framed in the future, but not because I want to(more because of the lack of other options). Am I satisfied with the results? Sure, but I’m still going to search for something better.
