Wanted a quick, local breakfast. One of the main servers/waitresses is pretty off putting. The others were friendlier, but it’s definitely not warm and cozy customer service. Portions are large and come quick. I had pancakes, they were pretty terrible, overcooked on the outside, which I just can’t stand. Prices are fair/typical. A refill on water would have been nice but I guess I could have asked as well. I will go back because it’s close to home and will definitely try a different dish.

It is difficult to have a breakfast for two under $ 30. Coffee and a coke were approaching $ 6.00. With tip, expect breakfast for two to run in the mid thirties.

This is your basic breakfast place and there’s no doubt most of the food is frozen here. It caters to a predominantly senior population(closing early afternoons!) and is presented indifferently, although the portions were fairly large. Food was just OK. The other reason for the low rating is the surly waitress who brought our food. We asked if we could have linquica on the basic breakfast, and the response is «yes, but you have to pay extra». We had no problem with that, but she certainly could have been nicer about it. The chocolate milk we ordered was thick as a milk shake, so we asked could she please dilute it with regular milk. Her nasty reply was«not for free we can’t». I could not believe it; we were nice and pleasant and besides that, they weren’t busy: only about 8 other customers in the entire place. No explanation for this sour-faced unfriendly individual who has no business serving the public. We left a $ 2 tip on a $ 35 bill, rather than make a verbal complaint. I will NEVER go back there. I can get a nicer breakfast just about anywhere else at a lower price and without the bad attitude.

Good food at a good price. This place is always busy and we still get fast, friendly service. I’ve been here many times and have never left disappointed. Mike L. is a clown to plug another business while talking crap about this one.

Recently moved to the area. Tried out their blueberry pancakes with a side of eggs over easy and bacon. The pancakes lacked flavor(very bland) it was as if it was just a mix of flour and water. Eggs were bland but easily seasoned with salt and pepper. Not a very tasty experience. It always comes down to whose cooking in the kitchen. I’m not sure if the guy was a fill in that day or just an under qualified cook that knows how to put things together and serve plates without much thought to seasoning and making their dishes tasty. We tried a place called Four sisters café in Roseville. Been there three times already. Very delicious food! Read their reviews

Good breakfast A small tucked away spot that puts out some mean biscuits and gravy. I haven’t really hit many items on the menu but the ones I have tried have been pretty good. The biscuits and gravy are the highlight for me. The rest of the menu is pretty standard country type breakfast items. Service is good and the price is reasonable. A good place to stop if you are in the area.

Very generic breakfast place. Service is just ok. The location in Roseville is better overall. For breakfast, this place is overpriced for what they serve.

I was a regular at Susie’s for a few years while I was in high school, and loved it. After coming home from six years away in the Military, experiencing many more local diner places around the country, some amazing, some not, I am still finding Susie’s to be among the best of them! Try their pancakes, they’re awesome! The bacon and onion gold pan was superb as well. Also, the service was fast and friendly, and my coffee never went empty. Keep up the great work Susie’s!

I recently moved to this area and have always been a «breakfast place» kinda guy. I’ve had better breakfast at other places but this is pretty good. I’ve been here a few times and the service has never been stellar. It’s actually been awful once and the place wasn’t busy ATALL. I’ll probably continue looking for my new«local breakfast place.»

I’ve had breakfast at Susie’s about 7 or 8 times in the last year. Each time I try something new on the menu and I have yet to be disappointed. So far my favorite is the eggs florentine which is a toasted english muffin topped with fresh spinach, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. I requested my eggs be scrambled which they happily did. I’ve heard really good things about their biscuits and gravy but haven’t tried them yet. The staff is always friendly, service is quick and the décor is cute. I’m sure I’ll be back in a few weeks!

I came here once for breakfast. The food was fine, the service was fine. I’m not going to go out of my way to eat here, but it works. I got the Railyard Burrito and I asked for the hashbrowns to be extra crispy. If they were indeed«extra crispy» then I’d hate to see what«regular» crispy is like. Raw maybe? My BF got something different — he seemed to like it. I tried his biscuit with gravy and it kind of tasted like sausage flavored wallpaper paste, but I am honestly not a biscuits & gravy kinda girl, so don’t take my word for it!

3.5 stars. Located in a small corner mall of sorts, when you walk in to this place, take a good look at the walls. That isn’t faux siding or wall paper. Those wooden boards are PAINTED on. Yes, some artist took the time to paint each and every plank of wood in here. Amazing. Some friends and I dropped in here because they serve breakfast all day. Known for their biscuits and gravy(at least that’s the reason why they wanted to come here), it’s like one of those places where everyone knows your name and it’s where you go for your local good ol’ fashioned breakfast. Country music was playing in the background to add to the country appeal. This place makes for a good pit stop if you’re hankerin’ for some country cooking to fill you up.

I’ve been here twice in 7 years, both times I have been disappointed. The food is sub standard for the cost and the service has been bad both times. Ordered the sausage skillet, it must have contained only 1 small sausage that was cut in 10 pieces? Seriously when you advertised as a sausage skillet I expect more than 1 sausage. The food was pretty bad all way round. Pancakes come in 1 option. Disappointing

The breakfast was great, the atmosphere was great, and the music was great(they were playing country!) I ordered an omelette with bacon, cheese, and tomatoes; it came with hash browns and toast. The breakfast was great, but I saw the waitress pull my toast out of the toaster, see that it was burnt, and scratch off all the black burned parts. Not super classy, but the toast still tasted fine.

Haircut day for our boys over at Lollipop Cuts(in the same parking lot) and we were looking for somewhere to eat beforehand so we wouldn’t have cranky little ones with empty bellies. I hop on Unilocal and even though the reviews were mixed we decided to give Susie’s a try. We are so glad we did. Yes, this place isn’t fancy(not just wood panneling, but faux painted wood panneling!) and you won’t find anything too trendy or even low-fat here, but it is good for what it is. As my husband said, «Now this is breakfast!» What he wanted was filling, old fashioned breakfast food and that is exactly what we got. I had what was called the Hot Jose frittata, which was a chorizo, onion and cheese open faced omlette with sour cream, tomato and green onion on top with hash browns, a tortilla and salsa on the side. My husband got some sort of huge omlette with hash browns and biscuits and gravy on the side. We ordered two blueberry pancakes and a side of bacon for our kids to split. Everything was delicious. The bacon was crispy and the pancakes were made with whole wheat flour and plenty of juicy blueberries. Service was fine, nothing to get excited about, but no reason to complain either. They were pretty patient with my slightly cranky two-year-old, so for that we were grateful. This will probably become a monthly routine before or after haircuts across the parking lot.
