Excellent service and attention to detail. Spoke with the rep in the store who walked me through all different possibilities for window treatments. As a first time home owner, I did not have much of a clue other than blinds or curtains. She got me squared away and together we developed an action plan. They then came out to my house to measure my windows so everything was ordered to the correct size. As I was still short on cash from closing on the house, and some of the room still had cheap, mostly working-but-functional aluminum blinds, I only ordered the treatments I needed at that time(4 Windows). When the product came in, I was notified promptly and they were very flexible accommodating to my work schedule to set up the install. The installer was prompt, professional, courteous, and as I found out later, the owners son, too. Two years later, I went back and ordered the remaining window treatments(8 Windows). They still had all my information from the measurements to the style and options we discussed on my first visit. Everything was ordered and fit perfectly. I had a great experience with the people at The Shade Shop and highly recommend them without any concerns.

Don’t waste your time on repair here. I called by phone and asked I they could repair my Comfortex blind. They asked for the brand and said they could repair it if I stop during business hours. Upon arrival they said they could not service it and would only do Hunter Douglas. The woman at the counter insisted that no one there would say that on the phone(they did). The funny part is that she didn’t even realize or understand the Comfortex was a part of Hunter Douglas. Angry, I left the store and went on Google on my phone. I found a shop called Blind Ideas which was only .2 miles away. They were very helpful unlike The Shade Shop. Blind Ideas were the people who let me know Comfortex was part of Hunter Douglas. If you need work done visit Blind Ideas instead!
