One of the worst experiences I’ve had. First off, I made a reservation 8 hours in advance and when I got there they still seated me 30 mins after my reservation time. Then after ordering drinks we were moved to yet another table where my party of three was separated and squished between 8 other people. The service was terrible. I was never brought a water or asked for a refill on my soda. Ute drinks were gone before the cooking even started and then the dinner lasted over an hour, so it was a long time to go with no drink. After we were seated at the second table, and gave our orders it took about 45 mins before the«chef» appeared to do the cooking. After all that waiting the food was bland and flavorless, the hibachi chef was boring and didn’t even attempt to interact with the table. The chicken I ordered was raw in the middle, and as as a whole the dinner was over priced. I used the bathroom at one point to escape the elbow to elbow accommodations and the facility was disgusting with trash all over the floor. I will not go back here and recommend anyone else try one of the many other Japanese restaurants in town because this one isn’t worth your time or your money and won’t satisfy your appetite.

Can’t complain about half off Wednesdays(and Mondays too apparently). We went at around 8:00pm which was when the service supposedly dies down, and rightfully so since you skip the dinner rush. There was still a good amount of people at the time, but the service was good. Definitely recommend the Osaka Roll. Especially if it’s half off!

do NOT go here. Ate here yesterday and got the spider crab roll. Im an avid seafood and sushi enthusiast and enjoy trying out different locations within different cities. After eating most of the roll, i started picking it apart to taste what just the crab was like, since the roll was *drenched* in ridiculously sweet sauce. It was utterly rancid and gave me an immediate gag reflex. I left due to being in a hurry to take someone home, but today i had the most unpleasant bathroom experience in many years. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from this place. I wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy. tl;dr — sushi is subpar at best and they serve rancid meats.

Chirashi but on a plate which is normally served in a bowl… It’s dark because the lights went out in the middle of my meal and electricity doesn’t seem to be coming back, having dinner in the dark is definitely an experience I didn’t expect…

So far so good, my husband and I have visited this restaurant twice this month. Half off sushi on Mondays and Wednesday which is amazing! The sushi is good, I have tasted better but I feel that it is still good enough to come back. I have not yet tried the Hibachi part, but it looks great! Service is great, attentive and friendly servers. Great selection of sushi. The wasabi taste a bit diluted, not as spicy as expected. Generous portions of sushi and very nice presentation. Great atmosphere, we highly recommend them to everyone! We will keep coming back to this location.

Hibachi places always provide a unique dining experience if it’s somewhere you go only once or twice a year. From place to place, you can pretty much expect the same type of entertainment from your table chef, and this place was no different… the usual smiley face made from oil, volcanic onion, spinning the eggs, etc. These guys liked to take chopped pieces of raw zucchini and flick them into our mouths with their spatulas. I actually caught the piece he tossed at my face! I love the aspect of cooking on the table in front of me until you see how much oil and butter they put on everything, but I guess that’s what makes it so delicious. My only complaint about hibachi in general is that they cook the rice and noodles first and then move to veggies and meat, and by then the rice is usually cold. I wish we could cover our plates until the rest of the meal is ready.

I went here for the ½ off sushi lunch and honestly, the service was really bad and the sushi was worse. I was really excited to try it there but left really disappointed. Not to mention it took an hour and a half for lunch…

I tried half off sushi at Osaka for the first time last night. I got there pretty early, as I knew it would probably get busy quickly. My friend and I split about 6 – 7 rolls(mostly specialty rolls) and all of them were great! I would say it’s definitely on par with the quality at Fujiyama(where I also love to go for half off sushi!). The fish all tasted fresh and the rolls were all pretty flavorful. They are a little on the smaller side, though, so be aware of that.(Similar size or a bit smaller than Fujiyama.) Our server was pretty good, she got slowed down a bit as it got busier there but that’s to be expected! I will probably go back again for half off! The sashimi there is some of the cheapest I’ve found($ 4-$ 5 for 3 pieces of sashimi). It is not included in the ½ off deal. All rolls are included though(even specialty rolls), unlike Fujiyama where you can only order certain ones and get half off. I liked that.

Ramen is good, not instant noodle, pork is done perfectly, soup base is miso. Draft beer including Sapporo and local brewery, overall a good dinner spot.

Monday’s and Wednesday’s half off sushi! Staff is nice and the hibachi is awesome. Wait time sometimes is a little long depending on the time and day but overall it’s a good place with good food.

Sat at the bar for an early dinner on Sunday. Service was very quick and courteous. I got the seaweed salad as an appetizer which was typical for a place like this. I also got 2 rolls: plain Yellowtail roll and spicy lovers roll(spicy tuna, avocado with spicy salmon crunch and caviar on top). Both were ok. The 2nd roll had way too much mayo and hardly any caviar. Moreover, the spicy tuna was more like a mash of some sort with a weird dark pink color. Not the best I’ve had but ok.

A great lunch time option, especially on half off days! I visited on a Wednesday for their half off sushi(they also have half off on Mondays). I ordered two of their unique rolls from their extensive menu. I found both to be moist, well put together, and flavorful, not to mention, very colorful. I also ordered a side of Miso soup and found it fresh although I would have liked more tofu and green onions in it. We sat outside on their small patio, but the dining room is large with plenty of seating. They also offer hibachi on one side of the restaurant. The service was friendly and for a busy lunch rush, it was relatively quick to get in and out paying with a credit card.

This place is not authentic Japanese restaurant. Mainland chinese running it. Hibachi is chinese food and pass it on as Japanese. Hibachi food if very salty. You will need to drink alot of water for this meal. Cheap soy sauce(water and salt) in fry rice. Meijer 1 dollar spaghetti noodles was used in hibachi and water down salad dressing. Dinner box or Bento this is a joke. It has chinese egg roll, Shumai, sweet carrot from can. IT got thai sweet chili sauce all over it. The chicken, beef, shrimp and salmon grill and coated with honey sauce. Now you wonder why they come out so fast. The food is frozen and can they just precooked it . shabu-shabu — you will need to order more water. It got ton of MSG in it soup base. It is not the real stuff. I will never eat at this place. IT is chinese food pass on as Japanese.

I found this place by accident and I am so glad I did. The best thing about Osaka is their Osaka roll and half-off sushi rolls on Monday’s and Wednesday’s! The first thing you will notice about Osaka is that it is hidden next door to a hotel on a busy street leading to the highway. A difficult to find place and get into the parking lot but well worth the fight with traffic. Once parked, you enter into a very Japanese looking lobby and to the right are tables for the hibachi and shabu meals and to the left the bar and behind tables for normal sushi meals. The waiters are very polite, service is quick and the food delicious. My brother and I have been there multiple times for the sushi and have tried to taste the hibachi and shabu a few times. My first time eating shabu our waitress helped explain how to make our food and how long to cook most of the meat(we got the chicken and miso broth). I enjoy the feeling after a meal to sit back and drink their amazing green tea.

It’s another Asian fusion restaurant doing every popular Americanized versions of of their dishes. The sushi is average at best and the hibachi is a buttery greasy feast. The staff is friendly, service tends to be on the slow side. They have a good location also.

Have tried the trifecta — shabu shabu, hibachi and sushi. The shabu is like cooking with a hot pot built into your table. You order different proteins off the menu and are provided veggies. You mix your own sauce and cook everything in your hot pot. A lot of work and if you aren’t good with flavor, this isn’t for you. Fun novelty, not worth the effort. Hibachi is typical — cook flips knives and spatulas and throws rice in your pie hole. Usually a flaming volcano made of onions. Presentation is nice for a group, taste is ok. Sushi — lots of good rolls to choose from. One of my favorites is the spicy scallop. The other is the lobster roll made with soy paper. Not the best quality seafood, but above average. Insider tips: go on Mon or Wed which features half off all sushi all day, including specialty rolls. Caution: these days the lines are long and you will be waiting after ordering for close to an hour — lunch or dinner time. You can sit in the hibachi area and only order sushi if you get impatient waiting for a table. If you have the time, makes it worth it for the price.

It was a Friday night around seven pm when we decided to give this place a whirl. Me and my boyfriend are both foodies and very into sushi as well. The parking lot was pretty empty, maybe eight cars. Upon entering we were seated promptly in a booth. At which time we noticed it was very very cold in there. So cold I could not remove my coat. We sat for at least five minutes before a server even came to say hello. This whole time having nothing to drink, not even water. Once the Server came up I ordered a white wine, my boyfriend ordered the house hot saki. About Another five minutes go by and finally she brings our drinks, sort of. Mine was correct, however my boyfriend was served a big glass of dark beer. The Server ran away so quickly we couldn’t even say anything. Another five minutes go by, and while we are waiting my boyfriend discovers some gross brown sticky stuff has gotten on his white golf shirt from the side of the table. The waitress finally returns, at which point we ask for the check and explain her mistake. We also inform her we are going to go elsewhere to dine. Neither of us drank our drinks, and the restaurant still changed us for my wine!!! Now, maybe it’s just me, but I think that we should not have paid. We immediately left and went to Sushi Kuni where we are always taken care of and the food is excellent.

I was in the area for business and came here alone for hibachi dinner. For coming alone, I had a good time. Hibachi chef was personable and entertaining and interacted with the group well. My issue was with the wait staff– I felt they were short with guests, unattentive, and slightly rude. The food was good– a typical hibachi fare but it was too salty. I sucked down water for the next 12 hours. Next time, I’ll probably stay away from hibachi and try sushi.
