Schlotzsky’s

Food is delish, but something has changed at this particular location causing the service to be slower than slow. You can’t get a meal through the drive through in less than 15 minutes. People are constantly ordering then leaving, etc, getting tired of waiting. I can no longer swing by on my lunch break, and it breaks my heart! Hopefully they can get their act together.

Everybody loves Schlotzsky’s, no matter where you are. But, ultimately, you go to a place of service for exactly that, their customer service. Both times I’ve been in the drive-​thru, service has been subpar. The first was a slow night, I was the only person in the drive-​thru line. I sat at the speaker box for about 4 minutes & had to say «hello?» a few of times. I even checked to see if they were open. She came on the speaker, apologized profusely. That was fine. Then tonight, it’s exponentially busier. When I get to the speaker, again, I waited a few minutes, nothing. I say «hello?» & get a «can you give me a minute?» in a not-​so-​great tone. Sure, I get you’re busy, but how hard is it to say «*insert intro we all know you’ve been trained to do*, can you hang on a minute?», or something of that sort so I know that I’m not being left in the cold. I say «sure», she comes back on a few minutes later with «okay», that’s it. No «sorry about the wait», nothing. I tell her my order. She briskly tells me the price. It may be small, but it’s important to me. Maybe I’m just spoiled by Chickfila’s excellent service, or I should just skip the drive-​thru altogether, but after a long shift, it’s easier to pick up yummy food on-​the-​go.

I am not one to be picky or give bad reviews but I just ordered my food and went into the bathroom at this location and there was no soap or even a soap dispenser in the bathroom. That’s a problem for me so I hope someone sees this and corrects the issue.

I’d love to give this place 4 stars, but I am here now and it’s the EIGHTH consecutive trip where they’re out of broccoli cheese! My wife loves the salad, but it’s so frustrating that they offer a ‘pick two’ and I can NEVER get the soup! In fact, I stopped eating here because of their incompetence, but my wife insists on her salad. I’ve tried calling the corporate office twice, and I guess that does nothing. If the manager sees this, I’d love an explanation as to why no matter what time or what day I’m here, they’re always out… or am I just the unluckiest person ever?

It is ok, not that great. Typical chain restaurant type food. It is better than most fast food. We have received bad service from this location a few times. They often get our order wrong and the prices are too high. Does not deserve 5 stars as others have posted.

love the food, hate how expensive it is yet I still find myself paying for it cause it’s worth it!

By far the best Schlotzsky’s location I have been to. Not once have I walked in here and not been greeted promptly. I always get a veggie sandwich and it’s always perfect. This location gives you a pickle spear with your sandwich, I have never seen that at another location. Staff is very attentive and the location is clean. As others have mentioned the drink machine is pretty snazzy as well!

Schlotzsky’s in general always hits the spot. This Schlotzsky’s in Grand Prairie (off I-​20) is particularly wonderful because the staff goes above and beyond the norm. I occasionally dine in for lunch for yummy food and great service.
Today I tried their catering service for a work event and highhhhhhhly recommend it. I’ve never had such good attendance and so many compliments from so many happy employees… and you can’t go wrong with free delivery on orders over $ 75! Sandwich party tray, salad tray, cookie tray, cinnabons, and drinks give a technical presentation a party laid-​back feel and helps to provide an environment for easy dialogue. No kidding. Christina Grieb and Stephanie Jones are incredible.

Wow. Amazing. Best Schlotzsky’s experience yet. The staff was extremely nice, fantastic customer service, and the refreshment dispenser was one of those cool touch-​screen machines. Any flavor of any drink you could imagine! They brought out my meal, as well as napkins and their incredible hot sauce. The Number 1 was very well made, and I cannot wait to go back again!

Best Schlotzskys I’ve ever been to the kind staff, quality fast food. Don’t forget to check out the drink machine… get your favorite flavors of anything!
