Best kept secret in Grand Prairie! Food at any time of day is unbelievably delicious. Try the guacamole, made fresh daily. Staff all very attentive and exceptionally nice. Also very clean, always looks like they just mopped and swept and tables kept clear of any food or stickiness. Coffee and the crepes can’t be beat!

Service is always good all kinds of different people here. Can be busy for weekend visit try during the weekdays. The mushroom Swiss burger was good and the Chorizo and eggs my wife does the stacked enchilada and the skillets.

This place has great breakfast. We came on Saturday morning around 9:30 and had a party of 7. We were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken. We didn’t have to wait long for food and the waitress was very attentive. This was the perfect stop for some out of towners on the way to Traders Village looking for good homestyle food.

I don’t see what was worth raving over for this place. The waitress recommended the skillets and particularly the chila skillet. It wasn’t bad but I don’t think I would spend $ 8 for chips and salsa with an egg on top. The pancake was pretty large and definitely tasty. The atmosphere is very home like here and service is also great but the food just didn’t live up to my expectations!

The food was amazing. I had the enchilada stack and my sister got the chicken fried chicken skillet. Servers were friendly and prompt, food arrived quickly and was delicious. The portions are more than generous and everything is very fairly priced. Will visit again on our next trip.

My boyfriend found this place and it is fabulous. I had the migas with avocado. The hash browns were good but the migas and tortillas were the best part. The eggs were cooked just right and the didn’t skimp on the jalapeños and onions. It was the perfect balance of ingredients. My boyfriend had the Texas skillet and loved every bite. The menu is so varied I will definitely be back to try more things.

Wow! Found this place driving down the highway and I am so glad. The service is phenomenal. Our server was very timely, polite, and had help from several of the servers. Also, the food… Amazing! They have turkey bacon and egg whites to help you stay on diet, they also have chicken fried steak for breakfast and everything in between. Every part of the meal was amazing and tasted very fresh. Try their hash browns and homemade buiscuits. Highly recommend this to anyone if you are in the area!

It is stuck back behind some buildings. So look HARD! It is definitely worth it. It was a party of three. We went in on a Saturday. Soon as we walked through the door, we were immediately sat. The waitress brought our coffee out almost immediately. And, she kept the coffee coming. In fact ALL of the waitresses were SUPER helpful. It was a family atmosphere. Our order came out quickly. The portions were nice sized. The prices were in range of what to be expected. The plates looked good. The food tasted good. Keep in mind, we all ordered breakfast. If everything was so great… why not 5 stars? Mostly because the food tasted just OOO-Kay. No bells… no whistles… The food tasted good… not great. But, this is far from negative. It was a really good experience. I really did enjoy myself. I loved the atmosphere and the home town«feel» of the place. I will return.

We finally had the chance to eat breakfast here. On our first visit I decided to try the Huevo Rancheros. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the best either. I guess I am not used to putting cheese on my Hueva Rancheros, plus having my eggs put on top of corn tortillas. That may be their spin on Huevos Rancheros and again, it wasn’t bad, just not what I expected. My wife had the Machaca on the first visit and loved her dish. My wife went back and had a BLT Omelete and loved it as well. I then just got the 2 eggs breakfast, with bacon, hash browns, toast, and 1 pancake. It was good! We will definitely be having breakfast there from now on. Everything is fresh and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Wanted try something other than an IHOP or Dennys. Reviews for this place are on point. I had the chila skillet with homemade salsa verde which is a play on chilequilles and it was AWESOME! This will definitely be my breakfast«go to» spot when in town. Great service, great food…

I like my waffles with craters deep as the ones found on the moon. Good Day Café has waffles but they don’t have MY kind of waffles. I was a little disappointed that the waffle didn’t have deep craters but I can’t say that their waffles are terrible. In the end, they did satisfy my cravings. I recommend getting the banana and walnut topping option if you’re going to order the waffles. Good Day has several other options(for a charge) but my personal favorite are bananas with some type of roasted nut. The waffle also comes with an egg your way. Although I wasn’t too crazy about my waffle, Ray loved his Chicken Fried Chicken. I have to admit, it was impressive. A base layer of bell peppers and potatoes covered in cheese with a Chicken Fried Chicken cutlet on top that is smothered in gravy and more cheese. As if the entrée wasn’t impressive enough, it even comes with your choice of side. We got one of their homemade biscuits that came with a side of gravy. Their biscuits could make Paula Deen proud. I’ll be back because it was actually a pretty solid breakfast. The prices aren’t bad either. Next time, I just won’t get the waffle.

My boyfriend and I came here for brunch the other day, I ordered stack beef enchiladas skillet with two sunny side up(yes, it comes with TWO eggs) and my boyfriend ordered chicken fajitas. The waiting time wasn’t bad, about 10 – 15 mins for our food. And let me tell you that stack enchilada with eggs was so delicious!!! I couldn’t finish it, it filled me up quickly. The service was good, everyone works there is friendly and always checking up on us. I will be back for sure, next time I’m going to try their chicken fried steak skillet!

A group of friends and I decided to try this place and weren’t very impressed. I ordered the nutella crêpe and felt like I ordered a strawberry one instead. It was smothered in strawberry syrup and had very little nutella. The white yolk for the eggs weren’t fully cooked either. My friend ordered the ham and eggs and the ham was unseasoned and the scrambed eggs were smothered in butter, which made it unpleasant to eat. We were under the impression that we found a nice restaurant to eat at, but we’re sadly mistaken.

Went here over the weekend after seeing good reviews. Was craving some good chicken and waffles. What I got was a chicken that was pounded so thin that there was more breading than chicken. The hot chocolate tasted like it came out of a packet and used way too much water. The side of gravy tasted like it came out of a packet as well. Seems like GDC is cutting too many corners to save a few bucks. The atmosphere is okay and the wait staff is very friendly, but sorry, I won’t be back.

AMAZING!!! this is my third time coming to this place, although the location is always full we are seated immediately! no ridiculous wait time like at other breakfast places. Everything I have tried here on the breakfast menu is so good, but my favorite has to be the stacked enchilada breakfast. has 3 stacked tortillas with chorizo beans and cheese with homemade Mexican salsa and two over medium eggs on top. The way they plate is is very pretty also. I’m glad we found this gem. no longer will be going to cracker barrel or ihop for breakfast.

My husband and I were having a hard time figuring out where we wanted to eat for breakfast last week when we decided we were not in the mood for a big crowd or generic, big chain restaurants. Turned to Unilocal and I’m so glad I did! This place is a hidden gem! When we walked in, there is a register and a hostess stand. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and waited about ten minutes to be sat(it was about 10 or 10:30 a.m.). First thing I noticed after being seated is the cozy atmoshpere. The decorations are adorbale. Reminded me of being at ‘Gram’s house.’ Our waitress brought our drinks but had to come back a few mins later before we could order… simply because there was so much to choose from and we took forever to decide! You have your options between regular breakfast combos, Tex-Mex, omelettes, and skillets.(They also have ‘light’ options) I had the chicken fried chicken skillet and my husband had the Farm Skillet. My mouth is watering just thinking aout it… Both meals came with choice of toast or biscuit and gravy. We of course got the biscuit and gravy… Which i didn’t even touch considering I was only able to get through about half of my skillet. Took the rest home and devoured it a couple hours later. We have definitely found our new breakfast spot… can’t wait to go back!

This place is absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in the door I was promptly greeted, seated, and placing my drink order. My waitress was very friendly. I ordered the French toast combo with bacon and egg whites only. I like my egg whites fried and she informed me that they couldn’t do it, I told her scrambled was fine. To my surprise when she brought my order out they were fried just the way I like them. My bacon was delicious, my French toast was perfectly cooked and my entire experience was heavenly. I even got my lemon in my water which most waitresses tend to forget. Not to mention I was able to enjoy French vanilla in my coffee here instead of my normal black and Splenda blend. Lol I love it here. My entire experience was worth every star. I will definitely be back!

Saturday morning @9am and the café is about 75% full and we are seated immediately and shortly after the coffee and breakfast is ordered. We are new to the area and we wanted the order to be basic; things that are hard to screw up. My wife had 1 egg scrambled, with avocado and a couple of slices of bacon and salsa. I had 2 eggs over easy, bacon, cottage cheese and chose the biscuit with gravy. No kidding we had our food piping hot in less than ten minutes. Everything came out as expected and tasted great. I would recommend the homemade biscuits be removed from the oven a few minutes early so they are a little more moist. Atmosphere was very friendly, young and old alike, we felt very comfortable. There are two tv’s but they were not on; recommend they turn them on but tune into anything but the news! They also had a good mix of music playing softly in the background. This may become a regular Saturday morning ritual assuming the food, service, and atmosphere don’t change for the worst.

Food: the food was great! I ordered the chicken fried chicken with a side order of home fries. I also ordered the coffee(nothing special). The chicken was hot, crispy and flavorful. The potatoes were not as crispy as I personally like but it had a great flavor and I enjoyed it. Venue: the venue is nothing super fancy. Just a regular café you would come across in a small town. The furniture is new so it doesn’t look dingy just not fancy. Staff/service: they were friendly and quick. No special connection or anything like that. Tip: The red potatoes that come with the chicken fried chicken are delicious
