Who doesn’t love ice cream. I decided to try the cookie sundae. The employee helping me tried to upsell me to a larger sundae. I was impressed by that. The facility was clean and employees very courteous.

You really can’t go wrong with ice cream. My husband got his favorite plain chocolate ice cream. He said it was really good. Service was fast and friendly.

This store is VERY poorly run. The hours they are actually open just depends on whether or not the high school kids they employ show up or not. I’ve been several times at 8 or 9pm to see the store closed, even though the hours are clearly stated on the door to be open nightly until 10pm. A few years ago we ordered a birthday cake, and when we cut into it, it was completely different flavors(cake and ice cream) from what we ordered. We decided to give them one more chance, ordering a cake for my son’s birthday(again). It was to be picked up on Sunday at noon. We arrived shortly after noon to find the store dark and closed, even though they were supposed to open at 11am. My son was very upset, with tears in his eyes when he realized he wouldn’t have a birthday cake. We stopped at Albertson’s and got him a pre-made cake, but it wasn’t quite the same. We called and called and didn’t get an answer until after 3pm, well after the party was over. The only reason given was, «Oh, the girl who was supposed to open the store overslept till 2:00». Barely an apology was offered, and zero compensation for the fact we had no cake for my son’s party, and drove well out of our way only to find the store closed. Might I suggest to the owner, hire people who need a job and will be there when they are supposed to. Don’t hire kids who just show up when they feel like it. Never again.

This establishment was clean, and I like the colors and labels they have for their ice cream. I came in a 15 minutes or so before they closed. They had 2 teenage boys working behind the counter. Right when I walked up to the counter, I heard one of the boys say, «Man, let’s lock the doors before more people walk in here.» I was just appalled by their customer service when I heard that. But, I was really craving a cookies n cream ice cream so I ordered one scoop in a cup. It costed me like $ 4 for a tiny baby scoop! I will NEVER come back to this place again. I always tell my friends and people I know to go to Bruster’s. You get TWICE as much for HALF the price there than BR.
