I can’t stop thinking about how bad this place was. Of course I can only speak for the coffee shop portion of this restaurant/bar/coffee shop. I came through Grand Junction for work and stopped in for a latte. Nothing fancy, just a medium size latte with almond milk. I’ve never had worse coffee. It smelled weird, that was my first sign. Smelled like burnt barbecue sauce. Tasted like… I don’t even know but it was not a latte. I could only muster a few sips before I had to toss it. Besides the unpleasant drink, service was pretty lacking. Again, I’m comparing by normal coffee shop standards. Normally when you order a coffee drink the barista starts working on it asap, or as soon as they are done serving another customer. I ordered, paid, waited a few minutes and noticed it was like nothing had happened. Register guy finally turned to a girl very slowly making a pizza and asked if she would make my drink. The rest is history. I really hope their food is good because their coffee… well, you’ve read enough of my opinion: p

I thought this new place could add some variety to the micro beer scene in GJ but I was misguided. The have Dirty Hippy by Palisade, Lands End Amber by Kannah Creek, PBR and Oatmeal Stout by Rockslide. They the stout to make their version of a black and tan. Only college aged new drinkers here on a early Friday evening and even one group said they were leaving to find more variety of beer. Stay clear of this place until they get things in order. This is not a bar for a 30 year+ crowd. Although this should not be viewed as a bar it is more of café that serves beer.

A fantastic find! This little place does it all, as a Coffee Shop and a Pub! Conveniently located across the street from Colorado Mesa University, on 12th Street, it’s also a great addition to the neighborhood near the campus. Colorado roasted coffee and espresso in the morning and a good selection of mostly Colorado brewed beers for later in the day… That, with some awesome«bar food», and friendly staff, who could ask for more? It’s a nice place to hang out and use their WI-FI for me, as it’s a new business and only moderately busy right now, but I suspect it will become the local«Hip» hot-spot before too very long.
