If I could give them no stars I would. Terrible service I ended up leaving and taking family else where because we were told they did not have a table big enough for us. A party of 6… and many open tables??? Also met a family on the way out that had been told the same thing. Some dumb kid didn’t even give us the option to have a wait time or ANYyhing he just basically said they wouldn’t seat us. Wow we will not go back

Just finished dinner at Genghis. We ordered the kale and veggie potstickers. Imagine my surprise when I bit into one and it was full of pork! Did I mention I’m a vegetarian? Disgusting experience.

Food was amazing as usual, however service was subpar. Waitresses were more interested in chatting with their friends than making sure we have refills… Waited 15 minutes with a empty glass. The waitresses even stood around watching a video on a cell phone rather than paying attention to customers. Won’t be back for a long time.

The only reason it doesn’t get a 5 is the bored adittude of a few of the ladies working the front. They’ve added different bowl sizes which has saved me money because I’m a master bowl builder and can get just as much out of a small bowl as I can a large. The cooks are friendly and will follow even your strangest requests. All around one of my favorite places in town

Interesting place. NOT a good spot for kids. Ordering is difficult, no easy way to order a dish. Instead u have to make your own and that is NOT the reason I went out for dinner. Very nice people though.

Who doesn’t love to fill a bowl of whatever they want and have other people grill it for them? Want a pound of beef in that bowl? Go for it. How ’bout some scallops and chicken? For sure! Not enough room to pile veggies on top? Take some of those carrot slices and use ‘em like a retaining wall around the edge. Mix those sauces and seasonings, pick some rice or noodles, and watch as the master chefs do some grill-magic with their cooking sticks. Now that I explained it(vaguely), you need to know how much I love it. It demolishes hunger while not demolishing one’s wallet. With so much variety and combinations, it satisfies the desires of even the most extreme«P» on the Myers-Briggs personality exam. My really only very small complaints: last couple times I’ve been there for lunch the service was really slow for how many people were present, and the waitress sounded like she was just going over a script in a semi-robotic fashion. Also, the greens were rather wilted. Too bad. Still love this place.

This place is a lot of fun, if you’re in the mood for something you throw together this is a good place to go. My only problem is I can never decide on any of their recipes and always get a big mashup, sometimes it’s great, sometimes not. My one complaint is they changed their chicken and now it’s flakey and tastes like fish.

Fun to try different combos of Protein and veggies. If you know what you like, then you can tweak it and be entertained with the cooking process. Nice to be able to talk to the cooks as well. Food has nice temperature, and freshness. The Kahn’s Klub is nice, espically when you earn a free bowl through points or on your birthday.

The quality has really gone downhill, and they shrunk the bowls. Still a good place to go for an alternative lunch.

Awesome place to go for dinner or lunch, I end up coming for lunch 2 – 3 times a month and it’s perfect everytime.

Fresh food and meats with lots of variety. A pit pricey, but worth the price for the large bowl of grilled food, you can even get refills for about $ 3. When you’re seated, they hand you a small bowl to get any ingredients from the cafeteria like food bar to cook up that you can fit in the bowl. You choose a sauce, such as stir fry, and a side, like rice or noodles. It’s then cooked right there on a circular grill. If I am to offer any advice, learn how to pack your bowl with ingredients to grill, if it fits in the bowl, it’s grilled for you. Iv’e seen stacking masters get tons of food in a bowl that way, and you wont be judged. Can’t say anything about the mixed drinks, I always get a soda.

First time at Genghis Grill, we went to bar and filled our bowls with meat and vegetables, waited in line for our food to get cooked and was very good! Our drinks on the other hand was plain Ice Tea and I had a black nat(flea) inside my cup. My husband said drink his ice tea and when I looked in his cup he also had a black nat stuck to the inside of the glass. Turned my stomach, I worked in restaurants and believe a lot can be done for the cleanliness of this restaurant. Food was good, so I rate as a three.

This is my son’s favorite restaurant, but for me it’s just meh, so I’m averaging out our ratings. The reason I’m not giving it four stars is because the quality of the ingredients can be great one day and tired the next. If you’ve never been to one of these places, it’s definitely worth a visit. You can tell the meat is frozen, because sometimes it’s still half frozen when they put it out. Like a lot of places in GJ, business can be slow here and you can tell they are taking measures to keep food costs down. It was great when they first opened, and it’s still great for kids who love the show.

We ordered a to-go meal and when we got up to the bar… they were out of almost all of the meat: beef, chicken, pork, crab. Then they were out of alot of veggies. The restaurant was not busy at all and they were very slow at the grill. There was one family in front of us and the staff was just standing around. So while I was waiting forever, I was noticing the cleaniness was awful. The floors needed to be swept and mopped and the baseboard were covered in dirt that must have been there for at least a couple of years. The manager came out and did nothing about the staff just doing nothing. When we Finally got out food after 15 mins! There were some gentleman standing at the door when we were leaving and the server was telling them to check the bar before they decide if they want to stay because they were out of alot of meat and veggies. I wish they would have told me about that before we paid for a to-go meal. Not impressed and have a feeling that they will loss a LOT of business when Noodles & Company opens soon next door.

This is an awesome Mongolian BBQ place… the best one I have ever been to. They have high quality ingredients(in my opinion), but be prepared to pay the price! A bowl will run you about $ 9! You can sign up for their e-club through their web site, which they will send you out a free coupon for a free bowl during your birthday month(if its free, its for me). The waitresses tend to be on the early twenties side… very cute in appearance, but very stingy and stubborn. They tend to judge you based upon your appearance, because it is all about the tips for them. Its not really a tipping establishment, because you have to get the food yourself. There are cooks that cook your prepared food on their flat grill, which they have a tipping container thereof. It just seems like everyone wants a tip at this place and if you don’t tip heavily, those perky waitresses will let you know. The waitresses are just plain stuck up and rude. If you are not a wild and horny bunch of drunken college guys, forgot about good quality service!

Been here a couple times, it’s good then the next time it will be bad. The time it was bad, it was as if the food was out for too long. If the meat is fresh it is def. Worth going to.

We first ate here a couple weeks ago with friends and returned on our own last night. Tasty Mongolian stir fry with lots of options. You’re given a bowl and directed to the salad bar styled set up filled with various meats and veggies. They have two kinds of beef, pork, chicken crab, seafood, turkey, ham… and many other meats, as well as a long list of fresh, crisp veggies to try to pile into your bowl without dropping it on the floor and embarrassing yourself. Next comes the difficult choice between 15 or so sauces. Don’t sigh in relief because your decision making isn’t done yet. As you hand them your bowl of raw stuff and sauce(s) to cook on the grill, you have to tell them what starch you want. They offer steamed, brown or fried rice, udon noodles(my fav), tortillas or pasta. The huge round grill is set up in such a way so that you can watch them cook your creation, which takes about 7 – 10 minutes or so. They then transfer your yumminess to a larger bowl and you’re on your way to feast-ville. They offer a full bar and desserts. Fun for kids to create their own food. If you are freaked out by too many choices, they also have predetermined dishes that you can choose from and they will make that up for you the same way.
