ZEROSTARS! Hey Charter– here’s an idea: how about every time my internet connection is lost, a tv channel is «temporarily unavailable», or there is so much freezing during a movie we can’t watch it: why don’t you start refunding me a portion of the ridiculous amount I pay every month for your incompetent services. Someone needs to get rid of this monopoly that they have over Mesa county. You suck, Charter.

Ever since they have switched to wireless, which is actually a box for each TV we have to pay extra for, our reception is terrible. With the reception freezing constantly it is very hard to watch a show or game. When we call in it is the same every time, all the automated stuff and if I try to get an actual person it takes me all night to get through. Our internet has always been sketchy and have had to have technicians out often. Tired of this and plan to switch to something better!

They took two weeks to complete my order and no one could tell me why it was taking so long. Getting help over the phone makes you want to opt for have your tooth pulled. Hands down awful. The only person with any sense of customer service was the gentleman that did the actual install.

This company deserves a –10 star, wish that rating was an option. They advertise repeatedly and nothing nothing works! Internet drops, cable channels freeze, and phone goes dead. When a customer is left without any form of communication and has to rely on their cell phone to report an outage the call wait time is on average a 45MINUTE wait for an operator to tell their«customer» there is an «outage»!(While on hold an onslaught of MORE commercials!) I have lived in a lot of states and had many cable providers and this one tops all as the worst. Their commercials even are false(putting it lightly) saying that satellite TV is unreliable and their entire yard is full of satellite dishes to provide their service! If you have ANY option of phone, Internet, cable, take your hard earned dollars and choose any other company and pray they aren’t bought out by this monster screw up company.

An extremely poor and over-priced choice, bad service, large amount of advertising, channel duplication and repetitive junk, below par internet reliability and speed, intermittent cable boxes and remotes, intermittent VOIP, new digital compression is incompatible with most all intrusion, fire alarm and older communicators.

I was skillfully persuaded to move my land phone lines and the Internet to Charter. It was a huge mistake. With at least four outages in about a month, and many hours of no connectivity(phone and the Internet), any savings I was hoping to gain by switching to Charter were quickly offset by many hours of zero connectivity. Charter’s Internet and phone lines through cable turned up to be very unreliable. This level of unreliability renders Charter Communication useless for business purposes and far from merely acceptable for home use.

Lenetta was so helpful setting us up with a DVR and with our billing details. Not only was she friendly, but she knew all the answers! We had pretty good experiences with the techs who originally set up our TVs, but they did have to come back to fix some bugs.
