Days Inn Grand Island I-80

We were passing through and chanced on this great place to stay! The room was clean and well priced. We loved the décor in the front lobby, and the continental breakfast was well stocked. I’d definitely stay here again!

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Quiet sleep. All good things in a motel and all right here. And the price was right also. They even have a deal with the neighboring motel for a free hot breakfast at a real restaurant.

Like another reviewer mentioned, this is one of two Days Inn hotels in Grand Island. We booked through
thinking we were getting a much better deal than on
. That’s because it was the other Days Inn. Our fault!
Once we got through the mix up and to the correct location on I 80, it was late and we were spent — looking forward to a great night of sleep. Nope. The mattress caved in towards the middle like a V. If you’ve ever slept on an air mattress with someone, you’ve probably experienced this. Worse than that were the abnormally small, uncomfortable, square shaped pillows. Spring for some bedding! We slept horribly, tossing and turning all night to find a comfy position, unsuccessfully.
Staff was nice, grassy courtyard for our dog, and free warm breakfast from Quality Inn next door with voucher on check-​in. Sadly I was falling asleep while eating my hash browns, thanks to crappy mattress and pillows.

The beds were really uncomfortable. There was dry blood in the sink and hair in the shower. It’s awful! I understand it’s in the middle of no freakin where but seriously!?

My family and I wanted to stay close to I-​80 on our way to Colorado and there were about 3 hotels to choose from near Grand Island NE. Days Inn was the most affordable and was sufficient for our needs. The room was clean and the staff was efficient. Days Inn not only provided free complimentary breakfast in its building (cold cereals, bagels, etc.), but offered a voucher for free hot breakfast inside the Quality Inn. The hot breakfast included biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, and several choices of eggs. The food was good and our stay was pleasant. This hotel is a good choice for a quick overnight while driving.

First want to tell you there are two Days Inn in Grand Island, NE. Becareful! We wanted one by I-​80 so we choose this one.
Room large with loveseat and coffee table. Sink outside and inside the bathroom.
Mircrowave, refrigerator and coffee. Desk with free WIFI.
Breakfast was the usual rolls, cereal, milk, and coffee. Days Inn gave us a free coupon breakfast at Clarion Hotel. Take advantage of this buffet. Very good and nice choices. We were told the same person owns both hotels and this is why you can eat either place.
It was quiet and bed was good. Pillows not our favorite but still got a good nights sleep.
Would stay when traveling again.
