Dad picked the spot and I’m glad he did. While I agree with Tom B. that this is a pretty good Subway, it’s still fast food, though I too will award an extra star for having a super-healthy option, namely a veggie deluxe sub… Not the one with the patty, I’m not even sure if they offer that anymore, rather just a sub with ALL the veggies, no cheese, a dash of salt and pepper, a bit of oregano and a splash of the red wine vinegar(no oil). Granbury has three Subways and I will choose by location. After trying out the others(may take a while) I will then decide if one is better than the other… BTW, the newest, as is brand spanking new, is up by the HEB. That one will be next.

Sometimes you just can’t trust a Subway. Many locations, which are often those in the sticks, are dirrrrrty and gosh knows how long the pickles have been in that bin. Thankfully, such is NOT the case here. Even on a lazy Sunday night, there was a long line and everything was still running smoothly. The floor was clean. The fountain drink area was well organized and without spills or crumpled up straw papers. The chips were well stocked and organized. Even the glass was clear of nose and finger prints! I also liked that there was also nutritional info everywhere you looked to help you order smart and healthy. It was cheap too! Any time on Saturdays and Sundays, you can pick any one of the Monday thru Friday«Sub of the Day» choices and get a 6″ for $ 2.79 plus tax. Kevin and I split a foot-long ham and turkey, no cheese, for $ 5.69. The girls working the line were really nice and as hard as I tried to find something wrong with the place, I couldn’t!

I do not usually give reviews for fast food. But, this is the VERYBEST Subway I have ever been in… very Fresh food, and the cleanest Subway that I have personally every seen. THIS is what the Subway chain had in mind, when they started the chain, I am sure.
