Love it! The place is always clean and a very mannered waitstaff. The food is well from their pasta to their pizza. Way better than pastafina.

Calamari was on point. The lobster ravioli was amazing, chicken Florentino soup and spicy chicken and shrimp were outstanding. Neeley was very kind to us and Jeremy was an incredible server we are so blessed to be here celebrating my daughters awards ceremony. See yall soon we hope.

Love this place!!! The food is great, staff is friendly, and service is fast. The pizza and chicken scallopini is top notch. For appetizers go with the Italian Nachos.

Cute little place. We tried it for the first time this week. Wasn’t very busy, had ok service. We got the chicken Alfredo and lobster ravioli. The Alfredo was very bland and had no real flavor. The lobster ravioli was good. It wasn’t anything amazing, but not bad. Overall experience was just ok.

Okay lived here in Granbury now for a whole 2 months and I’m so happy to have such terrific restaurants located near me, one staple in my diet is good Italian food, made homemade as much as possible and I do have to say Joe’s didn’t disappoint me at all. Service was great our waitress was so nice and polite our food was delicious, I ordered a medium pizza and didn’t read how big they were and gasped when it arrived, the crust was perfect lite and crisp toppings and the sauce were a perfect fit to a great meal, I’m so happy we have a great Italian restaurant in Granbury

I have only had their pizza and it’s darn good. I like to get it with Alfredo sauce topped with sausage and pepperoni. The Alfredo is really good but a bit rich. The medium is a big medium. The crust is thicker than some, say compared to Nizza Pizza. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Pizza. All Joe’s seem to look the same by their name and signage but this is definitely one of the best Joe’s at which I have dined.

This old school Italian place is a cute spot in Granbury. I ordered the cannelloni and it was very heavy but tasty. The portion size is good for sharing. Then they have the great bread with the olive oil dipping sauce. To me the bread was the meal highlight. I could have eaten that all day and been rolled out of the restaurant. I tried the eggplant parmesan which was pretty good as well. All in all this is a ok place to grab a bite. You will leave full and the service makes you fee like you are in a small town. They say«ma’am and sir» which is always a good thing.

My husband and I just moved to Granbury so we are trying to get familiar with the local restaurants. A couple of weeks ago we ended up at Joe’s Pasta and Pizza. When the staff realized we were new in town, the owner himself came to our table and personally introduced himself to us. He and his staff treated us so kindly as we dined. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect! If you’re looking for a good place to eat then look no further than Joe’s. Thank y’all again for the hospitality! We will be back soon!

Eaten here twice both times ordered pizza. My boyfriend swears it’s the best pizza around me not so much. Crust has been soggy and cheese a little dry if that makes sense. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Not as authentic italian as I typically like. Thank goodness I dumped boyfriend and moved back to civilization to get good pizza!

Great food at very reasonable prices. Don’t forget you may bring your own bottle of wine which keeps the budget conscious happy. Also, if you have a large group they will take reservations and have the table ready when you arrive. All in all, a great place for Italian food in such a small town.

Having had read numerous reviews of this place, my wife and I decided to make a go of it on a Friday night. First impression — they were busy. Not just ‘busy’, but that every single table was in use. This likely meant that(a) the food would be really good, and(b) that we might be in for quite a wait. Fortunately, we only had to wait about 6 – 7 minutes before a table was ready. The host was polite, and seated us quickly. The waitress greeted us in a very professional manner, but appeared rather overwhelmed all the same. Soon thereafter, we ordered our meals. For my wife, the Eggplant Parmesan. For me, the Shrimp Besnik. An alfredo-sauced shrimp and crab meat combination tossed with fettuccine. Sounded great. Our salads were served shortly, but served in soup bowls. I find this odd, as I’m used to salads being served on plates — maybe they were out of salad plates? Don’t know. The bread accompaniment was terrific. Very tasty, and rich with yeast. Once finished with the salads, our meals arrived. My wife received a beautiful plate of eggplant with marinara sauce and a side of spaghetti. It looked really good. My plate was a rich mass of fettuccine with an alfredo sauce and 5 large shrimp on top. However, after a few bites into it, I recognized the unmistakable red-orange dye of the dreaded«Krab» meat. I couldn’t believe it. Yes, that means crab with a «K» NOT a «C!» What had started out to be a fairly nice dish was suddenly devalued to a heap of alfredo mess and particulates of crab wannabe tidbits. Nothing could be cheaper than to suggest that the dye-ladened ‘Krab Meat Product’ should ever be passed off as true Crab Meat! I mean, the menu said«crab meat,» and proposed no disclaimer as to suggest that I would be getting such a knock-off instead. Good grief… what has this world come to? Slowly picking out the remnants of «Mr. Krab» from my dish, our waitress walked by to ask how things were going. «Not too well,» I suggested. When I asked her if my dish was supposed to have«real crab» in it, she appeared stunned. «Is that not crab meat?» she questioned, pointing towards my spoon-sized mound of colorfully tinged flakes of meat product. «No,» I replied. «This is the fake crab meat.» She hesitated, and said«I’ll check with the cook,» and off she went towards the kitchen. A few moments later she arrived to tell me that«Yes, that is the ‘crab meat’ they use in the dish.» I simply nodded to confirm her suggestion, and off she went. It was pointless to argue with someone who probably wouldn’t know the difference anyhow. I finished most of my dish. The shrimp were done very nicely, and were quite tasty. The alfredo sauce was quite nice as well. My wife enjoyed her eggplant parmesan very much, and took her leftovers home. Unfortunately, this experience left a pretty bitter taste in my mouth. For a dish costing $ 15.99 that suggests«crab meat,» they should have offered exactly that. No, I’m not asking for a heaping mound of crab, but certainly not the artificial rip-off. Kind of like ordering a steak, and getting a hamburger instead. When the bill arrived, I was equally stunned. Nothing… not a dime, drink(tea) or anything removed or discounted. Not a single apology from the waitress or staff. Nothing, zero, nada. As much as I might consider coming back, I doubt that I will. What’s the point? It was clear that Joe’s is more preoccupied with saving a buck than to care about what a customer would think or have to say about their restaurant. That’s not just being deceptive… that’s just BADPOLICY in my book.

My husband and I went into Joes on Saturday evening to have dinner and it was amazing! We ordered several different things to try and everything was awesome! The food was very fresh and tasted like it was made from scratch. The service was great as well. For anyone who has suffered through a bland, lifeless meal at Pastafina, Joe’s is a welcome alternative. As Eric W. commented in his review, this place has undergone major reconstructive surgery, and not a moment too soon. What some call charm, others call run down, and these days, when small towns are fighting for every tourist dollar they can get their hands on, sometimes a more upscale look is exactly what the doctor ordered to keep the tables, and the cash register, full. For long time Joe’s customers, the new look may take some getting used to, but, all things considered, it’s pretty nice. That said, this is a restaurant we’re talking about, so… on to the food. All in all, Joe’s menu is solid. It may not remind anyone of the old country, but the food is well-seasoned and the key ingredients are fresh; and given it’s main competition in town doesn’t appear to understand that food is supposed to have flavor, this puts Joe’s in a legaue of its own. First, the pizza. In my opinion, Joe’s pizza is some of the best in Granbury. The dough is rolled and tossed by jovial chefs behind plate glass for all to see. The toppings are fresh and plentiful, and the cheese is copious and perfectly melted. They call it «brick oven» pizza, and while that may be technically correct, it is not the traditional — and, in my opinion, often disappointing — brick over pizza. They also have a Sicilian style(deep dish) that is damn impressive. May not be as good as something you’d find in Chicago, but seeing as how you’re not in Chicago, quit making unfair comparisons. The pizza gets a rousing A. The more traditional italian fare — manicotti, chicken parm, chicken scarparelli — is equally delicious, but my personal favorite is the lasagna. With the exception of store-bought frozen messes like Stouffer’s, it is hard to beat a good lasagna, but Joe’s really does it to perfection. Layer after meaty, cheesy, saucy layer is served piled high and steaming… and oh so inviting you need to be careful you do not scald your mouth. Here’s a hearty B+ for Joe’s pasta selection. Everything is accompanied by the traditional rolls and salad, and I have to give these kudos on both. While there may not be anything noteworthy about either, the bread is hot and fresh from the oven, and the salads are cold and crisp and, at least when I last ate there, served in chilled bowls. The house dressing is a refreshing take on the traditional Italian. Unless you’re a diehard ranch fan(which many folks in these parts are), I would opt for the something new. I doubt you will be disappointed. Now, on the matter of service. For anyone who has read my reviews before, you know I am a stickler for good service. If you haven’t, let me sum up my philosophy: If you don’t know what you’re doing, or if you don’t know how to do it well, don’t do it at all. Is that too harsh? If so, I’m sorry, but it’s true, and, unfortunate as it may be, Joe’s falls victim to the same fate as many Granbury restaurants. There are just not that many talented servers in the area, and it shows in the way tables are handled. Joe’s get’s a C. Not a C+, not a C-. Just a C. Overall, I give these guys a thumbs up. They have re-worked an unremarkable local eatery and turned it into an establishment that attracts locals and tourists alike, and they have done so with a vastly updated décor and a much improved, and damn delicious, menu. If you’re in town and you’re looking for a place the whole family will enjoy, skip the sorry that is Pastafina and hit up Joe’s.

Not the old Joe’s(i.e. before the remodel), but it’s still nice Italian option. In fact it’s a bit snazzier inside and has lost that family feel. Alcohol is not served and it BYOB, but now the menu says«$ 2.charge per person that is drinking.» That being said none of the dishes have ever disappointed, and the pizza is in fact quite good. Definitely a good choice for Italian in Granbury.

This place is a welcome surprise and the owners are super friendly. This is the same franchise that you see all over the place but they’ve cleverly disguised it as a more upscale restaurant and they’ve added a few nicer things to the menu. I love the besnik which is a blend of seafood over spaghetti. The pasta sampler is also good with lasagna, cannelloni, and manicotti. The bread is fabulous. Parking lot is packed most of the time and for a good reason.
