Del Taco

The Valley is littered with Del Taco’s. Most, however, offer poor service and filthy seating areas. Fortunately, this location doesn’t tend to fall short in those categories. The staff is friendly, attentive and you can always find a clean table to eat at. It’s one of the better Del Taco’s around. Beyond that — we all know what to expect from Del Taco: far below average food — yet great value.

Worst Del taco. very disorganized and incompetent employees. Someone who needs to manage the register should know what they are doing. Then on top of that, there was someone who cut in line and instead of the person saying they should have told them that there was a line. Plus they don’t even know how to add cash.

I used to go to this Del Taco on the way home from CSUN A LOT (can you say «stress eater»?) The outside décor is cute, but it’s never as clean as other fast food restaurants in the area, which was a little shocking considering the neighborhood this is in.

Horrible service at night … Order is usually messed up… If you stay in the area it’s either this or burgers or subway after it get late, be sure to check order for accuracy and also make sure u ask for sauce because there have been plenty of times I have got home after purchasing food and there were no sauces or like only 4 sauces for 12 tacos

Tries fish taco today, not at all good. Fish have a wierd smell or may b kind of rotten. Was not a good experience. Need 2 improve on quality of good. Giving 2 star because customer service was good.

We love the food here. Though the crew messes up our order to much. If it wasn’t for the food, this place would have a one star

Crystal is probably the sweetest person I have ever came across in a drive through or any fast food place for that matter. Such great customer service for those after hour cravings. Highly recommend this location. Food is always on point.

Food is okay, but how many times I ordered chicken soft taco and I always get the cold ones. Not happy about it.

Horrible customer service! Came to this place on Christmas night and there was a long wait at the drive thru. Figured there weren’t many places open so we decided to brave the line. We waited for almost 45 minutes to get to the speaker just to order and the guy tells us they are closed with no remorse or willingness to take our order even though we were waiting in line so long. He said they closed at 9p and it was 9:13p. Why didn’t they send someone out there to cut off the line?! I had to get out of my car to tell the 8 cars behind me that they were closed and if they could kindly back out. I can’t describe how fuming I was for wasting my time there. I could have easily given my two cents to the guy, but it was Christmas. What a way to ruin the Christmas spirit!

The drive try is so slow I am typing this review while I wait. I will drive 15 minutes to another, because it is faster. The manager could not explain why it takes so long to get my order wrong. They need help.

Service is blah. it’s fast food. I never have high expectations. 3 stars, but 5 stars for those French fries, they’re the real MVP lol

This is a great location. It’s clean, quick, and plenty of seating. I had such fond memories here and really enjoyed my return visit. The shopping center has lots of parking and very well kept. The people in the area are wonderful and it makes the visits here pleasant.
My average order at DT is a burrito of some sort (usually chicken or Macho Combo) with two hard shell tacos. I only have the Inferno sauce, no less, because I like to live on the edge.

EXTREMELY SLOW DRIVE THRU. I came with 1 car ahead of me. Took like 10 mins to get my food… Literally just sat there waiting FOREVER. I have NEVER had a quick drive thru experience from all the times I’ve came here. Every time I come, I regret being stuck in the drive thru line…
Oh and avoid their disgusting iced coffee. No lie, I took couple sips and tossed it. Doesn’t even taste like coffee. Tastes like straight up liquid sugar. I felt myself getting sick even from the few sips I had. Go to McD’s or even Starbucks for cheap iced coffee.

Del Taco used to be the spot in middle school. I remember all the cool kids would have their specific tables and make their daily trek up the block to get some $ 1 nachos. Times have changed, the Del Taco I had in mind is now a Walgreens (and has been for several years) and after years and years of never visiting Del Taco I’ve recently started to go back.
I 1000% prefer them over Taco Bell. Even though it’s still fake meat (as one other Unilocaler put it «donkey meat») in my humble opinion Del Taco obviously uses better donkeys.
I came for the fish tacos ($ 2.09 each) and I’m also in love with the value ($ 1) strawberry lemonade so I had to pick one of those up too. For the sake of nostalgia I also invested in some value nachos ($ 1.29). Service was friendly (although I could tell they were overwhelmed by the amount of annoying high school (??) kids that were in there — — - maybe I’m just getting old, or maybe those damn kids just need to pull up their pants, brush their hair out of their faces, and join the real world). It took about 10 minutes from order to eating, and that’s with a group of annoying high school girls (I think…) in front of me.
Food was hot, order was correct. I was good to go.
Also, I believe this loc. is ²⁴⁄₇. Great for late night fish taco runs (and I love their survey program, fill out the survey and save $ 1 off $ 3! Steal!!)

Two stars is too generous. I generally like Del Taco, but just spent 5+ minutes in the drive thru, not moving. No explanation. No apology. Nothing. They even seemed annoyed I complained. Terrible, terrible customer service.

Del Taco. Something different and most of the time more enjoyable than Taco Bell.
Before they used to mess up my order a lot but it appears that this problem has been fixed. I’m guessing that since they brought new workers a lot has changed for the better.

Slow customer service. Waited on the drive thru for over 45 minutes. Wasted gas n lost the apatite. Never will I come to Del Taco ever again.

Meh. Average. Does the job.
At times it feels like they’re horribly understaffed. If you’re coming on Tuesday Taco nights, bring a book to read while waiting in the drive thru.

When it comes to Taco Bell or Dell Taco, hands down… I will always pick Del Taco. I’ve never dined inside, so this review will solely be about my drive-​thru experience (s).
The line tends to get long during peak hours, which is common amongst all fast food joints, and I suppose restaurants in general.
Everything is consistent with other Dell Tacos. So you know if you’re going to order the hard shell taco, that’s what you’re going to get.
The only reason for the lack of 5 stars is that you must ask for more hot sauce. Example, I ordered $ 30 worth of food and they gave 4 Del Sorchos. Wow, is there a sauce recession up in there?! If you ask for «more», you’ll get one more. Also, ALWAYS check your bags and make sure everything is inside. I’ve driven off on multiple occasions and I’m missing a taco or two. I don’t know why they put everything in those little brown bags. They’ll pack two tacos in one bag. So if you order 10, expect 5 bags. Why not just give bigger bags?

This is my home base Del Taco. Besides the long drive thru line at night, i got nothing bad to say about this place. For some weird reason i always get a nice female employee when i go through the drive thru. My only gripe is that they took off the fried jalapeño from the menu… why the hell would you do that?
