Being new to the area I needed to find a new spot to pick up some Chinese food when the craving sets in. My boyfriend who is a local of the area brought me here a few times for the buffet and it was mediocre at best. Just ordered pick up for the first time today in a rush, and although the portions were quite large and hot, I thought the chicken w/garlic sauce and general tso chicken were some of the least impressive I’ve had in a long time. Unsure if I will be revisiting. Atleast the prices are okay.

Favorite local place for Chinese! Very accommodating with special requests. Polite service & quick for pick up. Would be awesome to have a delivery place in the area, but this is worth the short drive.

Awful. I took a lunch special to go and they forgot to put in the egg roll. The chicken was all breading with barely any chicken and the fried rice was the worst I’ve ever had. I couldn’t even eat it.

I ordered the fried chicken wings for take out for dinner and about half of the chicken I received was raw and bloody. I immediately called the restaurant to report this and the lady on the phone laughed and said that the chicken was probably too big which I guess means that they didn’t cook it long enough for the size of the chicken. I didn’t think this was funny at all because raw undercooked chicken can cause serious food poisoning. She asked if I wanted to get another order and I said yes as that was my dinner plans and I wanted to give them the opportunity to fix this. She said it would take 10 minutes but it actually took over 30 minutes and for the inconvenience, they gave me 3 cheap almond cookies worth a dollar and some change. Be careful when ordering food from this restaurant and make sure to check your food thoroughly.

I walked in last night for an impromptu take-out order and got beef lo-mein and kung po chicken. The service was fine and the speed with which is was prepared really surprised me. The quality of the food, however, was worse than disappointing. I could rate the food a little higher if they were just a bit stingy with the chicken and beef, but the meat in both meals was nearly non-existent. There might have been four small strips of beef in the lo-mein. The kung po chicken had virtually no chicken in it at all. This goes beyond trying to «stretch the food dollar» or being economical without sacrificing the taste. The taste was bland and devoid of beef or chicken flavor. I have a bottle of peanut sauce at home and had to drench the kung po to make it palatable. And the quantity of squash was so high that they clearly are trying to make food on the cheap. I live in Port Washington and drove over the Grafton looking for something different and new. This was a complete disappointment and there’s no way I would go back.

A pretty good Chinese place. The food there is decent. I normally get the sesame chicken with fried rice. The chicken is good but the fried rice seems a bit bland. The buffet is lacking in selction and a lot of times the food does not come out quick enough. Be warned if you call in an order they may mess it up. A few times when I order their la main they have given me fried rice instead, smart to check if it is right in the car. This place is good if you are in the area and looking for Chinese. The food is constantly good but nothing special.

Dining in is always excellent whether you go with the buffet or order off the menu. There usually isn’t a ton of each dish on the buffet but it’s put out frequently so it is always fresh. Takeout can sometimes be not so great for whatever reason but usually it’s solid. Best Chinese place in the area.

We eat Chinese food quite often but this was just so bland. One of the worst Chinese buffets we’ve been to. Just a few items on the buffet too. not like you can eat them anyway so didn’t really matter. The only good thing is the combination fried rice takeout we do, if we are really desperate for Chinese. since this is the only place around here… but it’s nothing comparable to the other fried rice we would order in any other Chinese restaurant in Wisonsin or anywhere for that matter.

My wife and I went there a few nights ago for the first time. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, instead we ordered, waited and took it home. That is usually our approach when trying take out for the first time. I am interested in how clean everything is and the personnel. Dragon Gourmet did a good job. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly. We ordered and like most Chinese food places we waited about 10 minutes for our food and went home. The Food — pretty good, but certainly not the best take out Chinese Food I have had. The General Tso’s Chicken lacked spice and the pork fried rice had little to no flavor. Nothing a little soy sauce couldn’t cure, but I hate doing that. We will be trying a few other places around us(not a huge choice) before heading back. Pretty affordable and close to our place. A few positives. Wouldn’t steer anyone away and maybe other items are more flavorful. Just 3 stars for«OK».

I get carry out here often. My meals have always been excellent, and they have the most flavorful white rice of anywhere I’ve ever eaten. If something is wrong with my food, as soon as I mention it, they go out of their way to make up for it, and that’s even if I mention it days later, because I usually get carryout. I have had nothing but positive experiences and good food at this restaurant.

Sorry, worst«Chinese food» experience I’ve ever had. I ordered Kung Pao chicken. I received chicken stir-fried with celery. When I asked later about the peanuts, they said they had forgotten them. No offer to discount or remove the dish from the check. My fiancée food wasn’t much better. I hope I can find a better alternative or its off to Panda Express :/

This was my first time here. I had been surprised that it took me this long to get here. As I walked in, I was greeted within a minute and shown a seat. Nothing was said about helping my self to the buffet or if someone would be with me shortly. I waited about 5 minutes and someone came to take my drink order and instructed me to go to the buffet table. I was wondering where the other table was because there was not much of a selection and what Chinese buffet doesn’t have egg rolls? I got egg foo young, fried rice, spring roll and peppered chicken. All of it was cold. I was here at the beginning of the lunch hour and was expecting things to be hot. When I got back to my table my drink was waiting and I found that it had part of a paper placemat floating inside of it. The only thing that caused me to give two stars and not just one was the peppered chicken. Even cold, it tasted good. The rest of the food was kind of bland did not impress me with flavor or texture. If you value your $ 6.00, please have lunch someplace else.

The hot and sour soup and the spring rolls were delicious. Despite the huge amount of fresh vegetables and meat cooked to perfection in the entrees, there was too much onion in everything. The dishes were not delicious they were okay. The portions are enormous and a good value. They need some chef inspired dishes. It was like a home cooked stir fry, not restaurant quality. I will probaby try this place one more time.

This is the best Chinese restaurant we’ve had around here in a while. And honestly I’m not a huge fan of the cuisine. Super fast service and great value.

Probably the best of the«chinese buffet» type restaurants I have been to. The food is good, and the service is even better. It is a great value for both the lunch buffet as well as dinners. Very kid friendly. Can be busy at lunch time.

Located in Grafton, Wisconsin off of Falls Road in a shopping center, this is the first time I ate at Dragon Gourmet. We stopped in around 6pm for dinner and the place was about half full. People were waiting in line for carry out service and we were seated immediately. I had a dinner combo of shrimp chop suey and fried rice, which was excellent. Very fresh vegetables, pea pods and the shrimp were the colossal size with 4 on my plate. The shrimp were butterflied and dipped in butter. I chased that down with a couple of pork egg rolls which were big and very tasty. I only wish they had some hot mustard for the egg roll. Boy I was stuffed. Our waitress was friendly and attentive to our dinner. She was a bit hard to understand due to language, but that is what it’s all about. My dinner cost $ 7.00 and the egg rolls were $ 1.30 each which was well worth it. They also serve a lunch buffet for $ 5.95.
