Graeagle Getaway

This was an awesome place to stay. The condo is truly a home away from home. It is spacious yet cozy, with large, comfortable beds and couches, and a kitchen that is stocked with all the appliances and cooking utensils you could need. The attached garage is great too. The quiet neighborhood is right by a golf course and close to a bunch of great hiking & outdoor spots.
Also, Duane was great to work with. He was quick to respond to questions, and sets everything up so its easy to get settled in and start your vacation. I definitely recommend the getaway for staying in the area.

First let me say that I have not actually stayed here yet… but I am giving this place and the owners 5 PLUS stars!
I dealt with the owner Duane multiple times via email on a trip we had planned to go there. He responded quickly and was always wonderful and amazing to work with. This place has everything you could possibly need. It’s beautifully furnished, has wifi which is very rare in that area and the surroundings are lovely… not to mention all the awesome golf courses and restaurants in the area!
After spending so much of Duane’s time back and fourth with emails… we ended up not being able to go. :(I was heartbroken to say the least and now embarrassed that I had to tell Duane. But… Duane’s response was once again positive and he didn’t make me feel bad or guilty for not being able to make our trip as planned.
Now that’s a class act!
My hubby, myself and our dog WILL stay there someday.
Thank you Duane for everything and I mean everything!!! You’re wonderful and the world needs more people like you in it!

We loved this quite picturesque hideaway. There were so many amenities to mention, to name a few– huge wood burning fireplace, kitchen stocked with all cooking essentials plus more, every bedroom with its own private full bath (yeah) and comfortable beds and linens. It is located just minutes from gorgeous lakes for kayaking or fishing, hiking, cycling and horseback riding. This location was chose to spend time with longtime friends, and we had a absolute blast! We created new loving memories.

A nice, cozy condo near the golf course. Very clean and well appointed and super comfortable. 3 big bedrooms with comfortable beds and all with their own bathrooms, which is nice when sharing space! Upstairs bedroom has a ton of privacy as well. Great location near all of what Plumis has to offer. Thank you for a great stay in Graeagle!

This place is very nice and large, make you feel at home. The beds are comfortable and very clean. The neighborhood is very quiet. Has a nice deck where you can hang out and take in the view of the mountain.
Has all the comforts of home, even internet access and DVD’s for movie night :-).
I spent the weekend with friends mountain biking and next time I come back I will definitely stay at this place.

Stayed at Graeagle Getaway for a long weekend with the family — too short a time to enjoy the area. Unlike the more typically rustic vacation rentals in the area, Graeagle Getaway is a modern, very well equipped and beautifully appointed town home located on Plumas Pines Golf Course. They accept pets, which was a plus for us, and there are food bowls and towels available for pet use, which came in handy as our Portuguese Water Dog loved swimming in the nearby lakes. Duane, the owner, was great to deal with, very accommodating and hospitable, with lots of great dining suggestions and things to do.
The living room and the King Suites have ceiling fans, which were lifesavers as it was unusually hot the weekend we visited. Be forewarned that there’s no AC, but it does cool down at night, so we had no trouble sleeping.
Graeagle Getaway is a great choice for families, especially ones with pets. Highly recommended — we plan on returning but for a longer trip next time!

Great place to stay in a great area. Beautiful, clean, & cozy home. It has everything you would want and need. A great place to get away and relax, hike, swim, golf and so much more.

If you are looking for a place to stay where you can golf, fish, boat or run through the pines, then this vacation home is for you!
Located in Graeagle, California in the middle of the Plumas Pines Golf Resort, you are at a gateway to many adventures. This condo has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths & is decorated to suit its surroundings. It includes a large living area, well equipped kitchen, and very comfortable beds. The master bedroom overlooks a groomed common area and although you are in a «residential development», you don’t feel crowded. Note: The kitchen is augmented with a gas BBQ on the deck.
The small town of Graeagle is but a few minutes away with good restaurants and several «mom and pop specialty» shops. Just down the road are the towns of Portola and Quincy; and there’s always Reno which is just over an hour away.
Our stay was in a word «wonderful»; and it is certainly worth a return trip!

I wish we had more time to enjoy all that this place has to offer. It was hard to choose which bedroom to claim as they were all beautiful and of course (like Goldilocks) I tested all the beds. each room was special especially the Master. The kitchen was big enough for the gang to all be in there at the same time and a big table for all to eat together. what a great place for friends to gather. We want to return in the warm weather to enjoy the deck and golf. Loved it!

Amazing place to stay. The beds are so comfortable and a great nights sleep! Very cozy, nicely decorated and appointed, clean, beautiful and the location is perfect. Espresso maker in the kitchen! Lots of golf, great restaurants, spa’s, hikes, lakes. We will certainly be going back to stay there again. 41 Aspen Circle on the Pulmas Pines Golf Resort. Graeagle is what Tahoe was back in the day. I hope Graeagle stays the quaint little slice of heaven it is now.
