Gordon, Nebraska is a very small town and your choice of hotels/motels are very limited. We chose this one because it was 2 miles from our delivery customer and would make for an easy drive in the morning. If you’re a trucker, you can park your rig at the Pump & Pantry and make the small walk over. Easy as pie. Since our company was paying for the room, I can’t complain about the 64 $ price tag but I will say that it is far too much for the room we were eventually given. We were first given the keys to room #17 and when we walked in, the bed was unmade and it was filthy. Someone else was already using the room. We walked back in and exchanged the keys for a new room. It was simple and the manager apologized. We get moved into room #15 and the first thing we noticed was how small the room is. Two people will be decently comfortable but anything more than that, and you’re gonna be bumping elbows and knees. There is a small flat-screen television available that had a horrible picture, a mini-fridge and a microwave. The room was not equipped with a coffee maker, a desk, hair-dryer, conditioner, extra pillows, or black-out curtains. The bed was very uncomfortable, but the wall-unit air conditioner kept the room ice cold so no complaints there. The bathroom was decently clean, if you don’t mind dead bugs on the floor and the water pressure left a lot to be desired. There was no conditioner provided, only two shampoo packets. The towels were small and cheap and we were only provided two and some mismatched washcloths. WIFI was pretty good. That’s about the only redeeming quality that I can find about this place. There is a convenience store, a Pizza Hut and a small café across the street as far as food options go. Sorry, but can’t recommend.
