My business partner and I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Frackville, PA for five nights. Both of our rooms were infested with ladybugs and stinkbugs. There were over 20 lady bugs found in just my room. The gym also had stink bugs and lady bugs in it. The staff was very rude. Every time we needed assistance they had an attitude. For example, we asked for the bathroom key and the receptionist rolled her eyes when she had to get the key. House keeping was extremely loud in the hallways before 9am.

Great location near highway, could use better signage to find driveway. A Quick overnight with good amenities for holiday inn express. Clean, thankfully! Continental breakfast was good, and open til 10am, which is later than some and great for us!

This a a quite clean and new hotel, with the usual Holiday Inn Express amenities. On my recent two stays, there were a couple of new people training at the front desk. They took perhaps a few extra minutes to check me in, but not long enough to be an issue. And the staff is very friendly as well. On a couple of nights that I was there, they had soup and other food out in the afternoon — about 5PM. It was a nice touch. The hotel location is a good: Dutch Kitchen is a few minutes north, and Vito’s Coal-Fired Pizza is a few minutes south. If you don’t feel like driving anywhere, Cracker Barrel is next door, a one-minute walk away. And there is a mall nearby, although I can’t say I have been there.

Like the hotel just thought a bit pricey for the area. Rooms are nice. Mostly clean restrooms could use a little more attention.(Exhaust fan covered in dust)

Very Nice Hotel We were originally hoping to drive to Hershey, PA, but decided to stop early. I searched on Google Maps for a hotel and this popped up with three great reviews. I’m glad that I found this, it is a really nice hotel, very clean and comfortable. We received a AAA discount on our room, which was a bonus. The bed and pillow were exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast is what we have come to expect, but they have pancakes instead of waffles.

I had friends stay here recently and the staff went out of their way to accommodate a special request I had. Thanks so much! Super friendly front desk.

We became unplanned visitors to this hotel during a trip home to Vermont from Florida. Our car self destructed in this small town and the local mechanic who was going to resurrect it recommended the Holiday Inn Express as a good place to stay. Frankly, we had not stayed at Holiday Inns for many years due to several terrible experiences in their older hotels. THIS holiday Inn was a very appreciated exception. It was clean. It served a really GOOD breakfast and the rooms were well appointed with refrigerator, microwave and a REAL shower… not the awkward tub/shower thing found at most hotels. The front desk folks were wonderful and let us stay in our room until our vehicle was repaired. Staying here has changed my view of the Holiday Inn Chain and in the future, I would stay at another Holiday Inn Express during a trip.

On our trips to see family in Maryland, we sometimes take the more scenic Pennsylvania route(and no Tappan Zee bridge, thank you very much!). We’ve actually stayed at this Holiday Inn on two separate occasions, even getting a request from the kid to stay here this past trip. Pretty much a standard Holiday Inn Express… clean, good-sized room, roomy bathroom, pretty OK beds(course, I’m spoiled by my Tempur-Pedic!), AAA discount, right off the highway. I’m fairly certain a «continental breakfast» is included, but we were never up and ready early enough to partake.(We sorta love Cracker Barrel anywho!) This hotel is in a parking lot with a Cracker Barrel, a McDonald’s, and the Schuylkill Mall. Perfect location for us; took about 7 hours to get here, relaxed for the night, and we were on our way to Knoebel’s the next day.(Took a couple of hours to get to Amish country from here.) Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area. I have a feeling we’ll be stopping here on our next trip to MD.
