Oh my!!! Other than the weekday plant lunch hard workers. Not sure WHAT the owners are thinking. RUn weeknight special with one server every night and the outcome is exactly what you get. The need and the desire is there from local residents but hard to swallow a dirty restaraunt. One server for the entire facility and than justify the needs don’t warrant a second server. Other way around. Your night business would increase if the locals did not know EXACTLY what to expect when you come here for dinner. My gosh!!! WIsh I could say something positive…

Bad start. Had to wait little over 5 minutes to be seated. Waitress was nice. Husband had the large fried fish platter and onion rings $ 10 Fish was alright, but needed more seasoning. The coating over powered the fish. The onion rings were very good. I had the Homemade hamburger steak with mash potatoes and gravy $ 12.50. It was very good We loved the fried zucchini appetizers $ 6 It is a little pricy. Husband said he wouldn’t get the fish again. Hard to say if we would come back. Total $ 50.76

I work 5 minutes away and live in the adjacent community. I did not go here for a long time because of a lone one-star review for the place. That review was right. Do not go to this restaurant. I have been here 6 times now over the last 2 years because of work lunches. The first time it really wasn’t that bad although the service was unbearably slow and the prices were higher than you’d anticipate. The second time service wasn’t that slow, but it was unbearable; however, my burger was absolutely fantastic. This place is able to make tasty food! Except the third and fourth time my burger was burned to hell. There were several other problems, but this gripe stuck with me. The fifth time I told the waitress«hey, I freaking love your burgers, but last time mine got burned.» She told me that they had fired the cook and that the owner was now cooking, so there should be no problems. There were quite a few problems. This place does to-go orders. I was in a rush today, and it’s been a few months, so I decided to give it another shot. 6th time’s the charm? Their burgers really do taste that good. I asked explicitly for my burger to not be burned, for an extra patty(just in case), and for sweet potato fries. That’s all. I arrived 15 minutes after ordering and my food was ready. Paid 14 $ plus a couple bucks tip even though it was a to-go order. I checked it in the car and not only were both burger patties scorched and the meat cooked to rubberiness, but I had the normal(white potato) french fries. I woulda said«oh well,» if the fries were right, but because they can make some tasty sweet potato fries I went back in. I was as apologetic as possible, and explained that I had the wrong fries and that the burger was overdone. They said they would replace my order — I apologized again when they handed it to me. These burger patties were so charred they were charcoal-tasting on the outside and the inside was completely raw. The sweet potato fries were some of the brownest, most spotted, bitter fries I’ve ever tried(in oil which was too hot and in that oil for too long). I think the owner/chef’s response speaks for itself. All I can do is give an honest review: based on 6 visits over 2 years, I will not be returning, will be recommending against this place among my coworkers, neighbors, friends, and guests, and I’d recommend you do not try this place.

This place is horrible! I really wished I could click on NO stars. I’m not sure if I’m more upset with the unprofessional and rude and very inexperienced staff(Sam & Megan) the long wait time for our food(more than 2 ½ hour wait) the food(raw crab cakes) or the Owner(Mike) that would not come out and… personally speak to our table at my request. We were seated at 6:30. We did not get our food until 9:00(we were the last table to get our food while others that came in after us got their food and even left before we were even served ours) After the long wait and no one coming back to check with us but to tell us lies that our food was coming out, One crab cake was slightly burnt and the other was raw inside. I sent it back very unsatisfied and the rude woman named Sam(that said she was the manager) walked away saying, «Well you ate half of it.» Actually I didn’t, I tried a bite and I had a person from my table try it as well to make sure that it was uncooked. She told me that i had to pay for half my plate since i tried the crab cake. I was very upset and shocked that this woman is going to charge me $ 8 for a bite of RAW food and leave empty handed and even without an apology. What ever happened to Customer Service and«the customer is always right.» I’m a very honest and obviously patient person and I would not send anything back to be ugly. I understand this place is new but if you’re the owner and want customers to be happy and return please come and talk to your customer when they ask for you. That’s good business! I will let everyone I know and their friends know NOT to ever come to this restaurant. I WILL never come back. With service like this and when the economy is not great, customer service is #1. I’m sure if this place keeps it up with bad service and rude servers, you’ll probably won’t last a year. The only good thing I have to say is, Hope was kind and she apologized for the horrible situation which was not even her fault. Unfortunately we were not aware of the problems that the waitress was causing but it was not only your table but other tables in her section as well. which was taken care of. As far as the waitresses(sam and megan) I(Mike) would have handled your table the same way(sam) did. Some people are very understanding and know that we just opened and are still in learning mode, But on the other hand, we have tables such as yours! But we were expecting this tonight since yesterday when we heard you guys were coming… Unfortunately I could not come out to greet you bc I had a short kitchen staff and had to stay in the back, and when I did come out, you guys were gone. I do apologize for the mayo on the burger. but am confused about the crab cakes. We sold 34 crab cake plates along with multiple, crab bites, stuffed crabs, and stuffed shrimp plates, that are all made with the same crab stuffing. The first complaint was that it was burnt, then was sent back and said it wasnt cooked! Now this is very confusing to me, but im sure a point was trying to be made by your table. Again, I apologize that you were not pleased with us, But on the other hand, we have many fans and very satisfied customers, which may sound appalling to you and your table of friends. We are trying to build a business which has been very successful in the last 2 weeks, and although you are probably very proud of your announcement on our wall, I appreciate that you keep your chatter to your friends and on your personal wall. Mike First of all I had no idea this Mike guy was Psychic!!! There were 2 crab cakes one was a little burnt on the edges and the other one was not cooked in the middle… what’s the confusion? I still paid you. You decide People, I’m done!!!
