First time here. This is the way fried chicken should be made! It’s outstanding! Obviously a local favorite, even the late lunch crowd was plentiful.
Prices are better than typical fast food fried chicken. Leaders is much better! They have local favorites like homemade rice dressing, chicken gizzards, fried okra and okra rings.
Everything I tried was outstanding — this is my new favorite place for fried chicken.
Nothing spectacular about the building; it’s a local mom-​and-​pop restaurant. The restrooms were adequately clean when I was there.

Should have had the chicken instead I had the catfish. Catfish was bad, all of it tasted like belly I let my husband taste it and he agreed. He said his chicken was good. Portions were big, too little portions of coleslaw. The onion rings were great.
