Office Depot

Pretty good prices, but the sales staff can be annoying at times. FTR, I do not like their knock-​off brand ink cartridges — you don’t get the same amount of ink in the cartridges, and I think the quality is lacking as well.

Had two old HP printers (old being 5+ years) that needed new ink cartridges and whose technology wasn’t the newest. Sunday Office Depot sale circular had an Epson printer for half-​price, less than new ink cartridges (even generic), and with capabiltiy to print, copy and scan and allowed wireless contact as well.
Went into the local Office Depot and they didn’t have any in-​stock, which was understandable, but the salesperson (I will be nice enough to be gender neutral) couldn’t make arrangements with the Office Depot’s in Raleigh or Greenville to have one sent over. ‘They’ just basically gave up and said sorry you can’t get one from this store.
Well, I went home and ordered it online from Office Depot and it is supposed to be here in three days at the sale price. No shipping charge. The salesperson could have suggested I try this, at least, to try to salvage a little customer centric focus on Office Depot’s part.
Remember kids, if you act shoddy or incompetent to a customer, it reflects on the organization as a whole. So do everything you can to make that customer happy. Find your Manager if necessary if you can’t provide the answer the customer is looking for.
