Great place to stop by to purchase fresh shrimp. When I went, it was $ 5.20 + Tax for a ¹⁰⁄₁₅ count batch. Size and price fluctuates of course, so you’ll just have to call-​in or drop by to check the rates and size. Price seemed reasonable when I went, and definitely less expensive than buying it at a grocery store.
If you plan on taking the shrimp back to Houston (6 hour drive), no worries. They sell Styrofoam ice chests for $ 3.50 and they will pack it with ice at no extra cost. My shrimp made it back just fine and still had plenty of ice in it left over. Be cautious though because sometimes the Styrofoam leaks. Make sure you have a solid container or bag underneath the ice chest before trekking the long journey back. You don’t want your trunk to smell like rotten shrimp.

We bought the 10 – 15 count @ $ 3.50 a lb. UnReal! It was really neat to watch those Shrimp Boats come in and Unload all the different sizes of Shrimp & then the guys /​gals sort ‘em all by size! What An Operation! You just Bring your Cooler & pick the size shrimp ya want & fill it up! They’ll layer it w/​ice, then shrimp… ice, then shrimp… etc. …etc.
