Sticky Fingers Bakery

Three words: Best. Sandwiches. Ever.
I love, love, love this place, and while their baked goods are exceptional (especially anything with lemon), I wanted to spend this review talking about their sandwiches. For around $ 8, the lovely people at Sticky Fingers will make you whatever you want! They have a great meat selection — my favorite is the succulent roast pork — as well as breads (focaccia!), cheeses (gruyère!), spreads, and veggies. If you’re going for a tart or cookie, stay for lunch as well! The space is charming and intimate, and the staff friendly and helpful.

Every crumb was delicious! I’ve been dropping in since SFB opened and have been consistently impressed by their quality, variety, and expanding menu. Best bakery in town.

Excellent food here. We had breakfast burrito and veggie wrap. Very good. Coffee selection good. Can get a bit busy, but, that’s normal for the best places in Gloucester

Excellent Tiramisu! Baked homemade goods. Smells great! Just walk inside up the stairs.

Had the hazelnut angel and it was delicious. Friendly service and fresh hot coffee. Would definitely come back!

Nestled in the mall between Main St and Pleasant St this bakery/​coffee shop has the best pastries, pie, tarts and cookies. I enjoy the cozy atmosphere while I indulge in a cup of tea or coffee and a muffin. They also have soup, salad and quiche.

This is a review for the cupcakes.
If there wasn’t a sign outside telling me to walk down the long hallway to the shop I never would have found it. It’s tucked away in the same building a pleasant street tea company. Anyway, I walked down the hall and into the small shop and it smelled delicious. Seriously, I was excited. I had ordered chocolate stout cupcakes with Bailey’s buttercream frosting for a friend’s birthday and the price was a little steep ($ 3 a cupcake) which I’m willing to pay for a very high quality product. These, unfortunately, were disappointing. She showed them to me and they looked very nice (but definitely on the small-​ish side). When it was finally time to consume them, the frosting reminded me of cool whip. It certainly wasn’t the type of frosting where you dip you finger in for a taste and it’s all light and fluffy. It was just verrrrry heavy and oily. I can’t think of any other way to describe it. The same disappointment happened when I finally got to the cake, which was really dry. the flavors of everything were nice, but the texture was all around upsetting, especially when I paid such a premium.
That said, the girl working being the counter was very pleasant and I would probably go back to try one of their other items, just not the cupcakes.

Crazy good! The cupboard is always filled with new fresh offerings. Espresso Fudge Tortes, rum raisin brioche, oatmeal cream pies, amazing deliciousness in mini mason jars… Best secret lunch downtown: baked frittatas, soups, chicken salad… Open kitchen with luncheonette bar with stools– hot coffee is always on. Mom & Daughter team of Christina and Melissa have never-​ending smiles. Long hours– 8 am — 6 pm, make it very convenient. They supply wide array of deserts to restaurants on the North Shore. Run — don’t walk!!!

This place is awesome! The pastries are all very creative and delicious. But the atmosphere is very homey and cozy.
The best part though is the kitchen is open and has a café counter in front of it so you can watch the girls baking while you enjoy your coffee and pastry.
This is a can’t miss if you are in Gloucester.
