Dunkin’ Donuts

Five times I’ve given this location a chance and four out of those five my orders have been wrong. I’ve never ordered anything but donuts. No sandwiches, no special orders, and still the service was rude and the orders were blatantly wrong.

I had a great experience at this Dunkin’ Donuts a few weeks ago. It was a Saturday afternoon and I was going to see my Dad in a nursing home in Rockport. Not always awesome visits to begin with, as he’s had a massive stroke and is paralyzed on one side. He always wants me (or anyone who visits!!) to bring him an iced coffee from DD’s. I stopped in and ordered his iced coffee with the remaining $ 3 I had in my wallet. On the way out, the door hit my arm and the coffee went flying all over the foyer. I was near tears, not only bc I was embarrassed but I didn’t want to show up empty handed and disappoint my Daddy, who really looks forward to the visits and the coffee! (I had my debit card and credit cards in my wallet, but at the time I didn’t even think about that, I just felt awful!).
I asked the girl behind the counter if they had a mop so I could clean up the mess I made and she responded «don’t worry about it at all, we’ll take care of it» and handed me another coffee for my Dad. I wasn’t going to ask for another one since I didn’t have money to pay for it. I was so touched by her gesture. Daddy was happy, I was happy, and it turned out to be a great day. Thanks to the staff at DDs, you made an old guy and his daughter very happy!

I’m reviewing this place again because it continued to get worse.
Today I ordered:
Two English muffins with peanut butter.
Two Hot Latte’s with skim milk and one equal.
When I got home I had to dump out both coffees because they sucked so bad. Watered down and tasted like the milk was bad. They also only gave me two of those little rinky dink peanut butter containers for two english muffins. That’s only enough to lightly cover one. The owner of this place is just too damn cheap to do anything well and the people who worked there have informed me of this.
