This little place, which is right near the Italian Underground has become a regular stop every time we pass through Glenwood. They are definitely a little Mountain Boutique that has oddities ranging from wall hangings of wooden moose to zipper pulls made from clay. My two favorite things that you can find at this little shop are jewelry(most of which is handmade) and the carved wooden puzzle boxes. Upon leaving from my last visit I had found a handwoven necklace laced with little pieces of jade, another wire necklace with a funky little pendant, and a squirrel charm. Where else can you find squirrel charms?(stupid squirrels) If I lived a little closer or had more foresight I think I would like to purchase gifts from here, but so far I’ve only ended up getting things for myself. :) Oh, well.

This is one of those excellent little«everything cute» shops you find in mountain towns. Tons of unique little gifts you probably wouldn’t find anywhere else, or at least in very few other venues. I loved it because it made for one-stop-shopping for buying Christmas gifts for my loved ones while we made a weekend excursion to Glenwood Springs. I found these awesome candles that have a wood wick instead of string, so they crackle like a fire while burning. I also found some custom jewelry for my mom that is from the same obscure creator as some jewelry she purchased for me in Estes Park several years ago.
