Russo’s Pizza & Wings

I didn’t get pizza here, but their pasta dish called Patsy’s is spicy and delicious! They mix pizza toppings with spaghetti noodles and it’s perfect. I also tried their garlic knots, which were good. Their cannoli was so authentic I wish I had ordered two.

Service: D — we waited at least 30 mins for slices of pizza that were already made and just needed to be reheated. The kid at the counter said someone had accidentally turned off the oven. Really?

Very good pizza and service! We were traveling from Kentucky and on through Colorado! Great parking for a large RV!!! Hawaiian and BBQ chicken was great!

I used to love Russos and went there all the time when they were located next to the high school. They used to be fast and delicious for ready-​made pizza by the slice. My family orders their pizzas for delivery often, we get either the Red Mama or the Pesto Mama and are usually pretty impressed but the last few times there hasn’t been very much sauce on our pizza.
Last night I went into their restaurant to grab a few slices for a quick dinner. I ordered 2 slices of margarita which looked delicious. I asked for them to stay and was given a number to sit down and wait. After about 10 minutes i figured there was something wrong since they only needed to be warmed up and I was the only person in there, when I asked at the counter I learned that my order had been completely forgotten about. I recorded no apology but he put them in a box… cold… At this point I didn’t have time to have them warmed up and asked for a refund and went across the street. The man working never apologized.

No stars. Waiting an hour and a half they don’t know where the driver is. Making a second pizza we have to pick up in 30 MORE minutes. Wow!

We ordered a little bit of everything. Pizza, pasta, wings, garlic knots, salad. All the food was average and more expensive than I thought it should be. This place was super busy and I can’t figure out why.

Best slice in town. Mozzarella ala vodka is excellent

Great garlic knots. Handmade and only order a few. My husband got taken alway and ordered 12 for us cause they are only fifty cents. Don’t do that. That is way too many for 2 people but they are something I will be craving for a long time. The pizza is giant and a large was also way too big for us but was great. The service was quick and we ordered it early for a specific delivery time and it was there right on time.

We ordered a «New York Pizza» to be delivered to our hotel. Fresh ricotta, garlic, basil & tomato — so good, and so hard to find outside of NY. The pizza was EXCELLENT. If it had arrived hot, it would have been 5 stars, but it was at best luke warm by the time we received it. That’s how delicious it was — still 4 stars for cold pizza.

Will give second chance. My slice of pizza was yummy but my boyfriend said his slice was over cooked on the bottom, not good just reheating pizza, probably taste better fresh.

I ordered the Eastside salad with no cheese or carrots. This was a to-​go order and it was PATHETIC! Not only did I not get cheese/​carrots, I didn’t get cucumbers either which was the whole reason I ordered this salad! Instead, I got an abundance of onions, a few lettuce leaves and chicken and ham cut so small you couldn’t even taste it. I was still hungry when I finished the darn thing! If I’d ordered in, I wouldn’t have paid for this pathetic excuse for a salad. I paid $ 8 for a salad that wouldn’t have fed a small child! Can you say NOT. HAPPY?

It wasn’t as good as others. Perhaps the best in this area. There are several others in Denver I like more. The Garlic Knot being my fav. This want ant better than New York Jonnys.
Took awhile to reheat existing slices under the glass. Thought it should have been already good to go.
Ingredients were good, sauce ok. The pepperoni slices of pie were the greasiest I’ve ever seen.
I may be to much of a pizza snob. Won’t need to come back here when coming to Glenwood. Also, it’s not in an really accessible area.

Good wings and pizza. The sauce is unique and has a spicy hint to it The garlic knots were my favorite. More cheese on the pizza would have been nice but still good. Good atmosphere and prices.

Avoid this place at all costs. Takes forever to get your order (much longer than they say), and most likely the order is wrong, like ours and 4 others in front of us. Brutal. The kitchen «staff» were confused and disorganized. The pizza was terrible, undercooked (likely to just get rid of us) and had no sauce on it. What a mess. I wish Unilocal would allow no stars. NY pizza, my a$$. I am born and raised around NYC and this was a disgrace.

Yum! This is some of the best pizza I have ever had! We were traveling along 70E and were fortunate enough to find this place to stop for dinner. It’s tucked back into a plaza in a beautiful location. It felt like a vacation/​cottage town, very serene around the mountains with the great outdoor seating. We ordered the New York which was a lot like a Margarita but finished with a dollop of ricotta cheese. Sooooo good! The Medium size was huge for two people so would probably get a small next time. We also ordered a few Garlic knots which were delicious as well.

Based on the pictures of wings attached here, I got really excited for this place. The wings I got were very big and juicy, but just not that great tasting. The sauce was very thin and vinegar-​y. My wife got the gluten free pizza and really loved it. I got a small pepperoni pizza, which was ok, but really, it’s better after it has cooled a bit and the pepperoni flavor has the chance to spread out.

Incorrect pizza brought to the table twice. We were starving after a long drive and weren’t in the mood to wait. They gave us the Mamma pesto Pizza and gave options to get it right. Four slices of the vodka pizza or a small fresh one made. The order was half vodka half pesto. We chose the fresh made.
Happy they were making their mistake right but we had another wait. The pizza is excellent. Service lacks. Oh… don’t forget to end with the cannoli. Can’t leave any Italian place without that. Food five stars. Service two stars.

Calzone was soggy and not even cooked all the way through which sucked because all we could eat was the outter edges of the calzone.
The salads were definitely pre bought and the chicken was NOT CHICKEN. We could not figure out what it was but it definitely wasn’t chicken and definitely not worth the $ 8.
The pizza tasted like it was made that morning (we ordered at 7 pm) so it was very cardboard esk.
Cheesecake was neither cheese or cake. It was egg custard. Which isn’t necessarily bad. But if it’s egg custard sell it was egg custard.
The service was good, the delivery was fast, and the marinara sauce was actually very tasty. They forgot to bring the cheesecake so they came back very fast and brought it to us. If the food would have been better executed it would have been worth the price.

Been coming here for a few years now. I’m from NYC so I know good pizza. I’m a nanny for a family who has a house out in Aspen. We make the drive to Russo’s a few times each trip and have always enjoyed it… Until our most recent visit less than two weeks ago.
Is this place under new ownership? I don’t even have to type out how disgusting the pizza was… Let the picture do the talking!
