Tiffany Hur did my bridesmaid makeup about two or three years ago. She is really good at making your features stand out without making you look too made up. PRICING I had my eyebrows and eyeliner tattooing done for the first time by Tiffany today(12/28/2015). I called a few weeks prior to the appointment to ask about pricing. Pricing varies depending on how thick she will have to tattoo the eyeliner, how many«hairs» she will have to tattoo on your eyebrow, and whether or not you will get both(a package of both ends up being cheaper). She told me on the phone that cash is preferred. 3D eyebrow tattoos are about $ 200-$ 250 and eyebrow tattoos run at around the same price. If you want the exact price before getting tattooed, I suggest visiting Tiffany and getting a consultation beforehand. 3DEYEBROWTATTOOS… is it right for you? 3D eyebrow tattoos have come a long way. Each individual«hair» is tattooed freehand to give a more natural look. Plus, there are many color choices(medium brown, dark brown, ash brown, etc). I chose dark brown. Keep in mind that I have almost no eyebrows. A combination of having very thin eyebrow hairs with the fact that I over plucked when I was younger and they just haven’t been the same has left me with a huge forehead and no eyebrows… not a good look. I chose to get 3D eyebrow tattoos done so I would not have to spend as much time on my brows before work and to look a little less scary sans makeup. PROCEDURE /PAIN? Make sure you don’t have contacts on! Wear glasses if you have poor vision. First, Tiffany drew in my brows with an eyebrow pencil to get a better idea of how I would want them done. When I was happy with the look, I was asked to lay down and she put a numbing cream on my eyebrow area as well as my eyelids(keep your eyelids closed, the cream burns if it gets in your eyes). She placed some saran wrap on my eyebrows. After 20 minutes she started on my eyeliner. She used a tattoo machine for this(I could hear the buzzing of the machine which really made me nervous). I was told that it might feel painful or ticklish(she’s had both reactions) and that some people worry that she might poke their actual eyeballs, but that I should not worry. Honestly, the actual tattooing process did not tickle or hurt too badly. I wouldn’t say it was comfortable, but it was definitely bearable. I have had a small tattoo before. It doesn’t come close to the pain of a normal tattoo. My eyes watered the whole time and I could feel them swelling up though. Throughout the process she asked if I was ok. She continued to wipe the excess pigment off. Next, she began to tattoo my eyebrows with what seemed like a pencil. 3D eyebrows do not hurt at all. It feels like someone is taking a metal pencil and rubbing it across your very dry skin(repeatedly). After she got the basic layout of the first brow, she asked me to sit up to fine tune it. Then, she asked me to take a look in the mirror to see if I liked the shape. I was told that the overall darkness and thickness of the brow would reduce by about 1⁄3. Then, she repeated the same process on the other brow. Afterwards, she made sure to wipe everything down and placed saran wrap on my eyebrows and some cool, moist cotton pads on my eyes. I was asked to lay down for about 3 minutes(I assume this was to help with the swelling). I was told not to wash my eye and brow area for 48 hours. I read online that you shouldn’t wear contacts for 48 hours as well. Also, I was given some Vaseline to apply on my brow and lid area twice daily(morning and night). In two weeks, I will go get my touch up done.
