One star is more than they deserve. This place has been a let down on more than one occasion. We only go there when in the Glenview area. Last time we went there it was before close and they said they weren’t taking any more customers. Only thing is they had about 8 people already at the bar. We were informed it was family and we couldn’t come in. This place is over priced and underwhelming. Avoid it. You’ll be glad ya did. If you can make it by close Chasers is a better bar. Première is a joke. In the middle of a strip mall that is all but dead.

Had gone there to play pool. It was quite a lot of fun, we were group of 8 — saturday evening around 7:30 I expected it to be jam-packed, but there was no crowd, which was great. We played $ 12/hr for pool table which is uhmm — slightly on the up side, but quite reasonable. Quite a few had a couple of drinks as well. I would recommend this place as a decent hangout for a pretty big group who want to grab a drink and play some pool. :)

Place is always packed, and not just on a Fri or Sat night either. It can be tough to get a table sometimes but with hardly any other pool halls in the immediate area, Premier really becomes the premier place to go. Prices are good too.

Decent service and prices. The pool tables are more crooked than a local Greek politician. The sickest thing is the men’s restroom hand dryer has a massive spot of mold on it. They should be condemned for this, but refer back to my line about the pool tables for the explanation why it is not.

Pretty good spot to play pool, but the lighting is way dim. It’s hard to see the table sometimes. And I get the feeling the Greek from the Wire is going to pop out at any moment and challenge me to backgammon. Every time I come here, there’s like 4 groups of men playing backgammon in the front. Please fix the lighting.

Well, unfortunately I went here 2 weekends ago after an engagement party nearby. It was bouzouki night. I just don’t like club-like places in plazas in the burbs. I had a kiddie cocktail, no cherries? haha But the real reason for the low score was the gross people there, especially those who smoked. Pretty sure the law was in effect 5 years ago. When I got home I had experienced something I never wanted to experience again. My brand new dress smelled like smoke. Can you guys pay for my dry cleaning? Great thanks.

Hey I will give a 5 for billiards premier. In the late 90s, this place was a cool hangout for me and my friends competing each other in pool tournements after work. Also, I believe the owner is greek. I remebered they had alot of greek women who would come to the place and flirt. The greek guys hated it and were very jealous people. However, I also know many other kinds of europeans also frequent the establishments. And you will have some hispanics, orientals and african americans come by. So its a multi diverse place. The tables were big and always ready. They had a variety of video games like video soccer and car racing… The place divides itself one area of pool tables while the other side consists of a café/lounge/bar. It gets busy every weekend. One thing I like about this place is parking. Since its located inside a shopping mall by the Burlington coat factory, you will find more than enough parking unlike downtown chicago. Its a great place for people who like to play pool and chill out by the café lounge area playing backgammon. There are also many pretty looking girls as well.

If you want to go where everybody knows your name… Go to premier!!! Its good for billiards, lounging, and getting away! The new up-dated remodeling was a fantastic finish. I really like the Greek parties they throw wednesdays… pretty girls go there *WINK* Friendly people run the joint, its always good to be welcomed when your retreating from an every day cliché!

Back in the day that was my hang out spot good for a frape. The tables are in good shape loads of photo hunt type games. Virtual soccer etc. It does help to know the owner and bartenders. Overall I like it. It is 18+ after a certain time and they are strict about carding people. They also have plasmas that show all the games including soccer.

REVISED: I’ve gone back there a few more times and it is growing on me. But they keep the heat up too high. Located in a large strip mall(just right of Burlington Coat Factory), they pack quite a few tables into the medium sized space. Not a real problem, but you will have to be aware of the players at adjacent tables to avoid interfering with them. The tables are in good shape but the lighting is dim — more typical of a nightclub than a pool hall. The nightclub vibe is clearly present on weekend nights as the music is loud and a number of the patrons seem more interested in hanging out than shooting pool. I think Premier is «18 and over». I also heard a lot of Eastern European accents the last time I was there, so I’m not sure if this is a place for young immigrants to meet and mingle. Drink prices were slightly higher than average(I think I paid $ 4 for a bottle, no drafts) and the staff is efficient, but not overly friendly. Overall it wasn’t my scene, but maybe you’ll enjoy it.
