Great deal for the price. I have never had a bad meal from this company. I used to eat their sashimi salad and seaweed salad every night and I was at the lowest weight I have ever been. Their ginger dressing is the best in my opinion and the price and quality of the sashimi salad is by far the best in town. They use romaine not iceberg. I’m REALLY sad that they closed their Melrose location a few years back. Nothing in Hollywood has been able to replace it for me. Dear Wow Bento and Roll please come back over the hill!

We ordered 2 bowls(chicken & beef) Saturday evening. We waited about 10 minutes while others around us got their food. The chicken seemed over cooked, most of the beef was adequately tender. I feel like it was a poor choice given there are plenty of options. I do not recommend & will not return.

I’ll say this place is decent for a quick lunch at a food court; with lower expectations in various factors than a dine in restaurant. Keeping that in mind, it was better than expected. The food can be a bit bland depending on your preference, however it was perfect for me and my parents, since we’re more health concerned.

Worst customer service from ALICE ! The food fell to the floor when it was getting handed to me. I told them to change it, and she mouth the words«stupid bitch» what kind of customer service is that? I swear I was about to pick up the sushi rolls from the ground to throw them at her stupid ass but I held myself back. Ugh so mad now my appetite is gone !

My aunt and I tried the food there. She craved for japanese ramen but was served with hot water and noodles. Basically, tasteless. I ordered bibimbap, but got lettuce featuring rice and beef. It was a horrible and disgusting experience.

I used to eat here a lot and still do… well perhaps did… today was probably the last time I’m getting something from here. I loved their spicy tuna salad which at $ 7.99 about two years ago were a good deal. Today the same salad is 9.99 and they barely put tuna in it. In my today’s salad I can count like 5 pieces? The rest is all tomatoes when it used to be vice versa… so less stuff but costs more? No thank you!

The food court has a bunch of restaurants to choose from, yet I come here?! Why? I thought the Korean dishes would be decent even though the name gives no billing for the Korean menu items. The fish cutlet on rice I ordered was not good! I paid $ 9 for the privilege of eating frozen fish coated in breadcrumbs and deep-fried. Not a good dish. Just greasy which was partially rescued by some dipping sauces. I must have been crazy to think this would be like fish jun Korean dish which is fish battered in egg and served with a vinegar sauce.

For the price range they would be hard to beat. I had the chicken teriyaki and California roll combo, it was very good and generous portions. The combo came with spicy cucumber, something I hadn’t had before and it was very tasty. The chicken teriyaki was a little different than usual, not as sweet, which I liked.

3.5STARS parking: location is at the food court of Glendale galleria so good luck finding parking on the weekend and holiday. environment: loud, crowded bc it’s inside the food court of a big mall. food: my friend and I got the sashimi rice bowl. it’s really big for the price we pay. there’s two types of fish, masgo, something tuna-ish, a scoop of rice, some bean sprouts, and purple cabbage. it’s a pretty big portion for what you pay AGAIN. it’s pretty yummy and feels like a poki bowl but this place had this for a good 4 – 5 years already. give it a try if ur gonna spend that much on food and want something raw.

It’s your average food court sushi stand. The sushi is okay but not amazing and the tempura is about the same. The menu is pretty safe to try since nothing is spectacular, in a bad or a good way. Decent food, service depends on who’s working at the time.

Flavorless. Ordered their mixed sushi roll(I think that’s what’s called) and there was no flavor. I had to dip it in «spicy mayo» which doesn’t really taste or lilo ok like spicy mayo to give it taste. I will stick with the sushi from Tokyo Grill. Cashiers are also too busy to talk among eachother instead of having their focus on the paying customer.

The food isn’t the reason for bad review. The food is ok, what u would expect from a mall place. Its for the rude girls working the front. Not only were they pushing us to order and move already(we knew our order, took a sec to pick a drink which annoyed her) they were also eating on the front line, and the other girl played with her hair, then put my food on the tray without washing her hands. Gross. Not going again.

I’m here often for my lunch break! Today, I got the lobster roll for lunch. It was only $ 8.99 for the roll! Not bad! The sushi itself looked exactly like a California roll, but instead of the shredded crab meat, it was substituted with a huge chunk of lobster meat instead. On top of the roll, was fried lobster tempura! They add green onions and masago eggs to top it off! Also, the sauce they provided was spicy mayo sauce and sweet eel sauce. Everything together was actually pretty good! The only problem I had were the chefs… Don’t think just because i’m Asian, I won’t understand Spanish. -.- Rude! I’m not expecting much from mall food court employees, but at least have a sense of decency to not talk smack about your customers in front of them! Or even better, DON’T TALKABOUTYOURPAYINGCUSTOMERSATALL! Sorry, I’ve only tipped them the first time I ordered here. I won’t tip them ever again if they continuously talk about others disrespectfully. Otherwise, enjoy your sushi here huntys! xoxo

The food is good. The prices seem a bit much compared to other fastfood near it. I ordered the Soba combo which is pretty good, a lot of fillers though.

Pro: Convenient if you’re at the Glendale Galleria but good luck with sushi being fresh. Cons: Bad food and service. I ordered a spicy tuna roll today and it smelled fishy like it had gone bad. I took it bad. The employee took it away from me and threw it away but didn’t offer to get me something else and didn’t give me back my money and no apology.

I ordered a rainbow roll. It’s decent. As you can see from my picture there’s a lot of sesame seeds and the rolls had strong sesame flavor which I don’t prefer. The fish was ok but there’s a lot of rice and too little avocado. Overall not bad for mall sushi and good prices($ 9.49 for rainbow roll).

I had the sashimi rice and I must say this was really delicious! It came with Salmon, tuna, albacore, minced fake crab(?), rice and a delicious salad. They also provided a sweet spicy red sauce that tasted like the Korean chili bean paste sauce you eat with bibimbap. Honestly the sauce was the best bibimbap sauce I ever had, and it was an amazing addition to this dish. The fish was really fresh, the service was mediocre but for a mall vendor I didn’t expect to be spoiled. The food was prepared extremely fast and I was hungry. This really filled me up and I eat a lot. In terms of quality I would rate it a 5 star for the relatively cheap price of $ 10.00. The tuna however was cut too big and because of that it was too chewy and had a slight fishy rancor smell associated with a mouthful of raw fish in my mouth. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t horrible, it just could have been a little better. Also they use a Brita filter for water, I guess that’s a little better than some places that serve you tap water.

The girl working the cashier with the frown on her face kept yelling, «NEXT!» like a drill sergeant when she clearly saw that I was still trying to decide what to order. I felt rushed. The food: The spicy tuna rolls didn’t taste fresh. The shrimp tempura plate is overpriced for what you get, which is greasy over battered thin pieces of shrimp that have been stretched out. The chicken katsu was overcooked, so it was very rubbery. The one and only thing good was the mustard dipping sauce. That’s about it.

As far as mall food court food goes, this place has to be among the best I’ve ever had. Yes, it does take awhile for your food to come out & yes, the order line does take some time because the cashier has to wear many hats, but it’s so worth it. I look at it this way, the long wait for your food means that it’s that much fresher. I’ve come here a couple times and always had the beef bibmibap and it’s just fantastic. Get it with the spicy sauce! It’s got some kick, but if someone with my lack of tolerance can lather their meal with it, you should be fine. Trust me, just make a b-line for Wow Bento & Roll next time you’re at the Galleria. It’ll be worth it! Just a side note though: the food court has HORRIBLE seating. I won’t knock Wow for that, but be prepared to walk around a bit trying to find somewhere to enjoy your delicious food.

Came here for lunch today and got the spicy tuna salad. Cost about 9 bucks and you get a pretty good size plate of salad, i think some sort of ginger dressing, and a lot of tuna chunks tossed in sesame oil, sriracha, and some other sauces. This was my first time trying this place after hearing decent reviews from co-workers, and it did not disappoint. The amount of tuna on this salad was probably the biggest surprise. I was expecting a small portion but there was actually quite a bit on the salad. The salad is cold and fresh, dressing is pretty good, and tuna was pretty good as well. I will definitely come back here. I might try the sashimi rice or chicken salad next time.
