My coworkers and I couldn’t decide where to go. So I decided to surf Unilocal.I went through many pages looking for great reviews and some mexican food. Let me tell you this area has a lot of Mexican places. Last week we went to a place that was okay. not much selection and the food was fair. I was a bit hesitant to come here. After looking for a while we decided to hit this place up. They had some parking but we parked on cypress since we had a big van. We went in its small place with about 6 tables and some seating outside. I went ahead and ordered my favorite which I order at almost every mexican place. My burrito de asada mmm… We ordered burritos all around. After I placed my order went to put my drink on the table and barely sat down when they called my order. I looked at the burrito it was vey very good size with some very good weight. Let me tell you it tasted really really good. It had no rice which def like. Some beans which I didn’t mind and it had lots of meat. The meat had very good flavor and i believe it Pico de gallo. I liked that they didn’t over do it with the Pico de gallo. was not over dome with salt. Very good Victoria… I met her sister and told her to let Victoria know it is very good here. The only negative at this point I can say is that since I am a very big fan of Aguas frescas. I mean the real authentic aguas frescas. Sadly this place doesn’t have the original Aguas frescas, which in my book is a must. I love eating my mexican food especially when it’s good like this place with some authentic Aguas frescas. They have them in like the fountain drink style… which is not good in my book. Don’t like the artificial taste. If they read my post. It would be an even better place if they added this and took out the fountain drink style. I wanted to give them a 4 star but this fountain drink has me on the ropes… Nonetheless, the food is good.

I stopped in to try the tacos after reading the rave reviews. There was nearly an empty restaurant at prime lunch hours, probably due to the poor weather. It’s a small, simply decorated spot with counter service and about 10 tables. I had the asada, pastor, chorizo, pollo, and carnitas tacos. They are street style and very traditional in taste, size and presentation. Huge bonus points for the bin of roasted jalapenos, lime wedges, and sliced radish, for that ultra traditional touch. As a minor negative, the radishes were pretty dried out like they’d been sitting for a while. All the tacos were very flavorful and fresh tasting. I enjoyed the carnitas the most with the asada coming in a close second. These were spot on traditional tacos and at $ 1.47 each, not far from what you would pay on the streets of Tijuana. I would certainly come back in a heartbeat.

Had major drunchies after visiting Bigfoot and found this spot still open. Delicious bean and cheese burritos and good hot off the grill carne asada tacos. Staff was super friendly and nice to me even though I was a bit on the loud side. It was like coming home to grandmas ahahah. This will be my go to drunchie spot whenever I’m in the area.

This is my favorite spot in Glendale. Been here so much that workers already know me! Best prices and the most delicious Tortas and tacos. I would recommend this place to anyone especially if you want a quick bite at night. El Sauz is a disappointment, Victoria’s is the place to be. Service is fast and you can even call to order which is the best part because it’s always ready when I get there. You guys are amazing, keep it up!

This place is delicious. It’s the best Mexican restaurant in the area in my opinion. I typically get the shrimp burrito, which is out of this world. Their refried beans are amazing. You can tell that they slow cook them because they are super soft, almost like a dip. Goes perfectly in the burrito. A generous amount of meaty shrimp, there are at least 6 – 7 in there if not more. Cabbage, tomato, and sour cream round it out, with guacamole as an extra. A wonderful combination of flavors. The variety here is impressive. They have breakfast burritos(asada, machaca, chorizo, sausage, bacon). Tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, sopes. All the choices of meat. I had a carnitas taco today, and the carnitas was nice and moist with excellent flavor. Not too salty. Just spicy enough salsa, fresh onions and cilantro. I want to try the super nachos next. The real kicker is the seafood. Fish, shrimp, and octopus are offered. As mentioned above, I love the shrimp burrito, and am looking forward to trying the ceviche. Fish tacos look appetizing too. There are the usual assortment of beverages offered, including Mexican Coke. The parking lot is decent sized, I’ve never had a hard time parking. Prices are affordable, I pay $ 9 for the shrimp burrito which I consider normal. Tacos are $ 1.47 each. Perhaps could be 10 – 20 cents cheaper, but I’m not going to complain for the quality of ingredients they use. A small restaurant seating wise, can fit perhaps 20 people maximum. Check this place out if you want some excellent Mexican food.

Tortas are good and burritos too, just seems that prices are a little too much for some plain Mexican food, nothing great about this place just ok. Lady at register always looks pissed

Convenient little restaurant. We ordered a burrito and a Quesadilla. Usually the place is packed so we were excited about the place. The food came up short of expectation. The burrito and quesadilla both seemed on the wet side. I could taste too much salt in both items. I probably won’t go back.

We came on reviews from Unilocal since we were nearby in Glendale and saw the amazing pictures. This place is amazing with the home feel. The owner was down to earth and took care of us very well. The food is fresh to order with all the traditional items in a good Mexican spot. We will be back soon!

It’s been a very long time since I’ve had a good torta. This torta was very good. I also got a taco de asada. I almost Deducted 1 star for size vs price. $ 1.40 for a tiny taco. However they were very good too. I will definitely be back

This place is great. The attendants are friendly, food is quick and tasty, and the prices are super reasonable. What more could you ask for? I like to get the tortas or burritos — they also have great picante here.

As I’m a big fan of Mexican food, this place is my favorite«moms and pops» Mexican food joint in Glendale. 2 carne tacos, burrito, and a quesadella will do u VERY well in fulfillment and satisfaction. Do not forget their red sauce and grilled jalapeños where you pick up your order

We decided to stop by as our favorite breakfast burrito place(Tacos Villa Corona) was closed on Sunday. We tried their breakfast burritos(one with sausage and one with bacon) and they were not nearly as good as Tacos Villa Corona. The place was small and not very clear. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I came here this week, this place was recommended to me by my brother in law. The food was ok; typical Mexican food. I had the worst experience coming here. First of all, the customer service sucks!!! The girl that helped me her name is CARINA! She has no type of customer service skills, I don’t know how she has a job. She was so rude. And for that reason I will not be coming here ever again! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. That’s how bad the service was. If you want Mexican food I recommend you go to a truck instead. Unless you want shitty customer service from CARINA then this is the place for you!

This is a tiny restaurant near San Fernando and Los Feliz. There were few patrons upon entering. Our order was taken quickly and it took a few minutes to make. You order at the counter, pay, and take a seat. Your order will be called when ready. There are a few ‘fixins’ such as grilled onions, radishes, salsa that you can add to your order if you like. One taco is $ 1.40. The carnitas were dry and lacked flavor. The carne asada burrito($ 5.69) was sizable. However, there was some sort of hot sauce/salsa that was added automatically to the burrito. It was quite hot for my taste and basically ruined any other flavor within. It would have been nice if it were optional. parking — free street parking tip — cash only

I wanted to try a bit of everything so I ordered a carnitas taco, carne asada taco, and pastor sope. The service was adequate. Nothing special but not bad. Parking was fine since it was at an off time. It was average priced for a small taco joint. — Carnitas taco: meat was lean and juicy. — Carne asada taco: meat wasn’t as juicy as the carnitas but it was pretty good quality. No fatty pieces — Pastor sope: the pastor was good and flavorful but the actual sope wasn’t that good. It didn’t taste fresh and the outer part may have been overdone since it was kind of hard. At $ 1.30/taco I’ll stick with the tacos next time or maybe try a burrito(maybe $ 5.50)
