Mediocre customer service by employees who work for an excellent company. They have made an art of providing better apologies than service. If you don’t believe me, stand around and listen to the customers coming in to follow up on problems this staff created for them or that they couldn’t fix. Phone and plan work fine. Only issue I really have is customer service; which can be hit or miss. Depending on who you get to deal with you will either have someone who listens to your issue and helps you solve it; or someone who starts trying to get you to «upgrade» to the latest and greatest that just came out. I mean you all know if your phone is 6 months old it’s dead technology, right? Why not but his one for $$$$? It’s so AWESOME! Never mind that in like less than a year we will be giving this one away for free and pitching something else. Did I mention we have a payment plan on that phone? Verizon employees; please take the hint when someone plainly tells you exactly what they do and do not want, there is a good chance that they want what they said and did not request you talk to them like an idiot who just doesn’t get it.

After a pathetically horrible experience at the East Capitol T-Mobile store, I dropped them after 10 years and walked into the Bayshore Verizon store. Our rep Michael was unbelievably helpful and got us set up with exactly what we needed, explained the plans in detail and taught us some basics on our new smartphones. I would highly recommend doing business with this location if you are looking to switch to Verizon.
