Tailgaters is still a «wings n beer sports bar». They’ve tweaked their image and offerings lately and while the bar food remains, they’ve added a ton of craft beers to their taps and fridges. The crowd hasn’t changed a whole lot– still very blue collar and a wide range of ages– and the décor is mostly the same as it has been the past few years. It’s a comfortable, lively place where you can have a good drink and you’ll have room to invite a few friends along. Live music on the weekends and the wings are pretty damn good. The staff are real friendly and welcoming.

I’ve been there a couple times. Drinks are poured well. Food seems to be pretty good, but I haven’t gotten much more than a quesadilla. People are friendly… Sometimes a bit too friendly. Wait staff is pretty hot or miss. I will say that is an area of opportunity. I have friends that have been there quite a bit more. They have their waiter or waitress that they try to get so their service is good.

I wouldn’t know if the food was good or not. My wife and I went in on Monday night, 7 – 27 at about 5;00 and sat down at one of the booths. It seemed real noisy, and the bartender was yelling across the room at one of his buddies. My Wife and I sat there for over 10 minutes to order some Beer & Wings, but no one ever came over. So finally we got up and went across the street to Poppo’s and had great service. We enjoyed a couple of Beers & Poppers. I have heard so many good things about Tailgaters, but if you ask me, that place SUCKS. I don’t want my Wife to experience that again, so I don’t think we will ever give it another try.

We were exciting when this first opened. Seemed like a mid-west type bar but more upscale. We called ahead and asked if it was a good place for kids, they said yes. Once there the food was prepared quickly and looked good. Some customers next to us were so drunk one threw up on his table, the others were propositioning our 14 for sex. When I went to complain, upset of course, I told the bartender«You need to get a manger out here right now». The bartender offered to «step outside and fight» for reasons unknown. We told them we were leaving they threatened to call the cops(food had only a bite or two missing) so I told them go ahead and we would wait outside. Bartender tried to come out and fight but manager finally came out to send him back in. Bartenders defense was«I don’t like being told what to do». Manager defended the bartender but ask for my number. He called and offered a free meal, we never returned. Even the band that was showing up waited to go in saying«We better wait to see where this is going» when they saw how violent the bartender was acting.

This is a spot I’ve been to several times, mostly because my friend’s band, The Dickensons, has brought me. Last night I went again but for another show. This place has everything one could hope for when looking for a fun Saturday night. Prompt, friendly, service and affordable pricing! It’s not just anywhere that you can satisfy your cravings for fried pickles and pepperoni pizza after hours. They also have ample room for seating, games to play and a clean, well-kept bathroom. I like this place and I will keep coming back because they do it right, and consistently. So, people, GETYOURBUTTSUPANDGOGETYOURGATERON!

Calzones are money in the bank. Bartender is very nice. Informed us that big mugs are better than splittijg pitchers. Lots of bar games. Beer pong master is a lot of fun. Highly recommend.

Shitty service. The waitresses clearly hate working there. Food is not the best especially compared to what else there is in Glendale. Would not recommend.

Trashy dive bar,.gross skanky waitresses who think they are hot, mediocre food, terrible service, only good thing is cheap drinks during happy hour. Also rude doorman. Not worth it.

There are good things and bad things about Tailgaters… Good things — now that the back section was taken down, the layout is more conducive to watching games, fights, etc than it used to be… Food is pretty good and has a good selection. I drink mostly beer, so I cannot comment on the drinks. Bad things — the service. I was in last night watching the last half of the Spurs/Heat game, and there were less than 10 customers on the floor, but it took 10+ minutes to get a waitress over, another 10 to get a beer(Corona, without the lime) then another 10 to get the lime… After that, the service picked up, but I was shortchanged by $ 5.00 when I paid the bill and had to let the waitress know.

This is a sports bar and dive bar rolled into one. Nothing is particularly bad but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here either. The price is right and the service is friendly and competent, so if you happen to be in the area and need a beer to go with your game, Tailgaters would be a safe choice.

Great little dive bar. The new renovations(tearing down the dividing wall) has opened the space up and made for a better atmosphere. Cheap drinks($ 2 green domestics on ST. Patty’s Day) the food is typical bar fare at reasonable prices. The waitresses are your typical dive bar type… Tad over friendly and a bit on the trashy side. Cheap drinks & good dive bar atmosphere: 5 stars Waitresses: 3 stars Thus a total rating of 4 stars!

I’ve been here twice. Both times for lunch on the weekend. I liked the menu here. They had more than I expected. One thing that we had and really enjoyed is their pizza! It’s homemade with fresh toppings. Took a little longer for our food because of the pizza, but the server let us know when we ordered. Also, ordered a calzone on our second visit. Delicious! I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Salad both times. It had lots of chicken coated with a choice of mild, medium or hot buffalo sauce. I ordered medium. Very tasty! Service was very good. I couldn’t decide what kind of drink I wanted. After talking to the bartender, she made something for me that wasn’t on the menu. Food was hot. Bartender and server attentive. Prices are on par with most places that are dive/sports bar. Drinks are good. Decent pour. Great place for a relaxed lunch!

There was a group of around 35 Browns fans that came in to watch the game week one. Some of these Browns Backers members have been coming here for a long time and we decided to join them. Pros: Bloody Mary Bar Cons: Everything else. Right before kick off the owner/manager decided he wasn’t going to have the sound on for the Browns game as promised. He stated that despite the fact there are far more Browns fans in the bar than anyone else we are consistently cheap! Seriously? We’re Browns fans… WEEATANDDRINK A LOT! So he decided to appease a small amount of fans in the corner that wanted to hear their game. Since we had already ordered a bunch of drinks and food for the 4 in our little group we decided to stay until the half. Slowly most started leaving to head to another bar. By the time we ate our pizza that tasted too much like flour and downed our drinks we also left. Our close to $ 100 tab would have been double that if we had stayed for the whole game. The unbelievably rude manager lost out on a lot of money and a lot of future business. We will NEVER be back!

I see a lot of bad reviews on Tailgaiters and don’t really understand? This is the first Sports Bar I went to when I moved to AZ from WA. It’s a dive for sure, but I like that and it’s like a cesspool(which I also like haha). Food is cheap and awesome, TVs everywhere, DJ and live music some nights(maybe a little too much 80’s music though)! I can’t remember the name of the band I saw, but they were awesome! You will find preps, blue collar workers, business professionals and bikers all in one place if you go here. Easy to socialize, everyone is friendly and the bartenders were always cool. To each his own, but I loved the place… check it out!

Not impressed! Dive bar with average overpriced bar food and ditsy service that thinks they are there to socialize with the customers. Our server was a little on the over-friendly side(yes, I get that she’s just trying to get a good tip, but c’mon). Just bring my food/drinks and get it right/fast/correctly priced. It seems simple enough, yet it didn’t happen here. What’s worse, the table next to us had a server standing there talking to customers for most of the time we were there. Very unprofessional and i know it left others wondering as well. Just do your job and hang with your friends on your own time. Service cost them a star and a customer. I won’t be back.

Saturday night Bday party… We made plans to meet a bunch of folks here and glad we did. The live band kicked ass. The drinks were good but not too strong. :( The back room was perfrect for large get togethers. The shuffle board was fun. We did not see any drama at all and had a great time.
