MBeauty by Dr Tess Mauricio

After a consultation a week prior with the doctor, I accompanied by roommate here to have something removed/​cauterized from his lower eye. HOWEVER, after sitting on the treatment chair in the examination room the doctor started cauterizing they started cauterizing his freckles. He was wondering what they were doing and though it was part of the treatment regimen but after she was done, she said, okay, just let it heal and don’t wash it so it will dry off… he had to ask her «what about my eye?» and reminded her of the consultation they had 2 weeks ago. After they remembered the case, they did do the eye, but man… this is where mistakes are made. Not using progress notes or writing down what a client is there for especially after having a consultation where everything was agreed upon. patients in the hospitals can have wrong procedures done, or have an amputation of a wrong limb, that’s all because of silly mistakes like this office made. Concentrating too much on tv appointments instead of the patient.

So I’ve rarely done any reviews on Unilocal in the past but everything about MBeauty definitely deserves much more than 5 stars. They are phenomenal at what they do, they are so caring and understanding and they have significantly helped my cystic acne skin all within a week and a half. And trust me, I have the most stubborn acne ever due to both skin type and hormonal issues that I’ve been dealing with for the past 5 years. Granted it’s no where near perfect and I have a long way to go but it’s better. Until a few months ago, I would say I had moderate acne (no cysts) with lots of hyper pigmentation and light scaring. Then it turned for the worse and I started developing severe cystic acne. So basically I couldn’t even touch my face without it feeling excruciating pain. Putting on makeup… pain. Boyfriend accidentally touching my face… pain. Washing my face… well you get it. About a week before my dad’s birthday party where I would be seeing many people (which I hadn’t been out of the house probably for a good month and a half), I was depressed. I didn’t want anyone to see me like this. thankfully I have the best mom in the world who is on the constant look to help me cure this issue. She found some of Dr. Tess’s videos on YouTube and we immediately called for an appointment. The receptionist was so accommodating and sweet and we got in 2 days later! Anyways, to summarize my visit, it was a godsend. The next day after treatment my skin didn’t hurt anymore, my cysts had gone down significantly, the redness in my tone was better and I was pain free!!! Sounds like a miracle right? Well it was. And it’s all thanks to Mbeauty. If you are down to your last wire and depressed and don’t know what to do with your life and feel hopeless… GO HERE. :) or go here anyways because your skin will love you.
