Kohl’s

I came in on Monday afternoon to shop Balm cosmetics. What I didn’t know was I was gonna walk into a mess in the cosmetics area listening to all the employees complain about a girl who always get Saturdays off. After they were finished ranting about each other’s business in front of me one girl decides asked me if I need some help. I asked if she knew if they had the three pack highlighter kit. She replied no we haven’t had that since Christmas. I was shocked to hear this because I just checked online it shows that they had stock of it. Her response was that’s because they stole it. My thoughts were if you’re the specialist and never have Saturdays off and you knew this was stolen why couldn’t you write it off to keep your inventory correct if you’re at specialist…

I usually love Kohl’s. I was not impressed with my experience today. As I walked in, the sales associate didn’t have anyone at the register but I wasn’t greeted either.
I went into the store knowing what I was looking for. This store was set up opposite from what I’m used to. I went to the girls section to look for jeans. I couldn’t believe the mess the folded jeans were in. It looked like Black Friday x 10. I had a hard time finding my daughters size because they were all unfolded and stacked on top of each other.
After finally finding the correct size, I proceeded to check out. There was a line of people by this point, so backup was called. Apparently the backup cashier was new or wasn’t the cashier very often. The gal in front of me had an issue with getting a $ 10 off code to work. The cashier finally got it to work after asking the other associate for assistance. I had a rewards coupon on my phone. Generally I just show them the phone & they scan it. This guy took my phone from me & tried to scan it on the bottom scanner. When he realized that didn’t work, he proceeded to use the gun. I also had another coupon and he took my phone from me again. I was very ready to get out of the store. I’m not sure if it’s a management issue, understaffing or both. With the other Kohl’s stores not to far away, I’m not sure I’ll be returning to this one.

I LOVE Kohl’s. Been shopping here for years. This store in particular is always clean, staff is friendly and of course the prices are great. Best part is their customer service department. If you have to bring something back they don’t ask you a million questions like you are a criminal. I often order on-​line and return items to the store that don’t fit right/don’t work for me… it’s always an easy process. As long as they keep having fair prices I’ll be sure to shop here on a regular basis!

Anytime I need practically anything, I head over to Kohl and bam its on sale! I went and picked out two pairs of sunglasses. The lady gave me a scratcher at the cash register that gave me an extra 15% off! I walked out with over $ 60 dollars worth of sunglasses for $ 31. Oh, happy days, I love saving money and getting what I wanted to buy in the first place

I go to Kohl’s for their clothes, I do not go for their customer service. Luckily I know what I’m there for and where to find it most of the time, because asking for help from someone is a pain. This location never seems to have enough people to report to a register. I understand there is other work to do around the store but I am not one to «wait» to spend my money.

No one around to help. Not a place that I like to shop. I do not feel like anyone cares when you go in there. If I wanted to be treated like that I can go to Walmart. If it is my choice I will never shop there again

Good place for housewares and clothes, although their clothes do tend to shrink or not hold up well. As does the jewelry– at least the costume stuff tarnishes quickly. However, you can get super cheap deals here if you combine the coupons with sales or clearance items. Seems like we always have a 30% off coupon so we don’t pay full price for anything here. I love the $ 5 hardcover children’s books.

If you sign up for their card you will get intermittent discounts. Both me and the wife have a card so chances are that one of us will get a 30% off discount at any given point.
The return policy is fair. The products are what you’d expect from any national retail store. You can find good deals with you combine sales with a coupon.

This is the same format as the normal Kohl’s, but the merchandise was set up a little messy especially in the accessories area. =(

Of all the Kohl’s stores I’ve been in, this is the worst. I found the customer service to be very bad and the clothing racks were all disorganized. I don’t mind spending some time in a store searching for a deal in 70 or 80% off racks, but when these racks are COMPLETE CHAOS it is very frustrating. Yes, customers are not being courteous when they leave the wrong size in the wrong area, but customer service representatives should be checking for these things. They do at other Kohl’s locations.

When the item I picked out rang up at about three dollars over the price posted on the rack and I pointed it out, the cashier stood there fanning herself with a brochure, looking anywhere but at me and gave me a who cares, take it or leave it attitude. Funny how one employee can ruin the whole trip as everything else there was okay.

Love their sales and quality merchandise… They always send out coupons even when you don’t have a kohls card. The staff is always friendly and the store is usually kept up clean and organized. They had a big sale going on yesterday and the shoes were in no special order.
Not going to keep me from going there again.
