Went here yesterday and this branch of Guido’s is CLOSED. There’s a sign on the window saying Verdugo Pizza Coming Soon. Don’t know if it will be the same guys running it. We’ll miss you guys :(You made our favorite pizza and your fries were great.

Yes, this place is a bit odd, took us a while to finally try it. But we go for the pizza, and the thin crust pizza is great. Not the best ambiance, but again, we go for the pizza — take out or delivery is our preference.

I ordered take out lunch special combination lule gabob for the first time here. It is delicious and definitely worth for the price. I can’t believe it is only $ 5.99. Will definitely come back. Owner is nice too. May try their pizza next time.

Sunday became amazing with Guido’s pizza. We got meat lover and Hawaian. Crust is like French bread. So fresh and Yummy. I also got the veggi because the boys have friends over. It’s like a gourmet Italian home made food. Thanks Bob.

I got two pizzas here today and a plate of kabob. I was actually so excited to see they have the Mediterranean menu because then both kids were happy in one trip. Great customer service too. Both pizzas and the beef kabob plate was yummy and I say that because the kids ate it which is always a good sign.

We’ve been ordering from Guido’s for the last 4 years and can’t believe it took me this long to give them the 5 star credit they deserve. When we order we usually stuff ourselves with their two pasta special that comes with the obvious two pastas, two small trays of delicious crispy salads and two loaf of breads: one garlic and one plain. Yup all that for a very affordable price you can’t pass up! Tonight we decided to order pizzas. The Crust was crispy, light and delightful. The staff are so awesome and nice! I really enjoy picking up or having it delivered! Enjoy!!!

So much love is put in their food! One of my girlfriends introduced this place to me and I haven’t tried a different place since! Their pizzas are fabulous and so are their kabob sandwiches! I wouldn’t bother posting a review if I didn’t think this place was worth bragging about. The owner is so sweet as well! The entire business is great and I completely recommend everyone eating here! Pizzas are made within a reasonable time and literally everything tastes fabulous!

Honestly simply an amazing place to eat. So far I’ve tried the pizza and khatchapoori and that was to die for.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. This was our second time placing an order with them. They said it would be between 40 – 50 min. We waited over an hour before we called. They said that they were«so busy» that it would be an additional 40 minutes before we’d get our order. There was no call from them, no way of knowing. And no apology for it. I asked for a refund and took my business elsewhere. Last time I’ll be ordering from these guys.

This is the best pizza in Glendale. The crust is hand tossed, chewy and tender. It is very affordable for such a high quality, tasty pizza. Whenever I serve it to my guests they always remark at how delicious it is. I never have to wait more than 30 minutes and I am always happy with the service.

The food is great especially the pizza. Bbq is my favorite. All home made ingredients. Bob’s special sauce that you can eat with salad or breads ticks is really addicting. Prices are reasonable and customer service is great.

Solid pizza for a reasonable price. I go here once a week for their pick-up special, which is $ 7 for a large one topping. No matter what topping you get i guarantee that you will enjoy a fresh pizza. I highly suggest you give this place a try if you are in the neighborhood. You will not be disappointed.

Great pizza. Great service. Best in the LaCanada/Crescenta/Montrose/North Gledale area! Very reasonable prices. I order here for takeout whenever I’m in the mood for ‘za. Don’t mistake this one for the one on Foothill Blvd in Tujunga. You want the one on Verdugo Ave in Glendale near Montrose! WAAAYYY better food and service!

Used to love Guidos. Food was good and priced reasonably. Recently decided«never again.» The last three orders(or attempts) resulted in: 1 — No answer. Didn’t happen after 30 mins of trying. 2 — Food being 45 minutes later than we were told. 3 — See below. We’ve been ordering here for about two years. We’re in Glendale. This last order involved three calls. One gets part way through — hung up on while on hold. Second finishes the order — hung up while taking credit card. The third results in actually giving them the card. They tell us an an hour and 15 mins to get there. We agree. The pizza arrives a little early and after tipping the driver(appropriately), he says — you know… we come the whole way from Montrose. Maybe you should find a different pizza place. EXCUSEME? I understand if we’re not in your service area, etc. Tell us that when we try ordering. Don’t deliver to us repeatedly and then get passive aggressive AFTER i just tipped you. I called back and informed the guy what happened. He apologized and said how embarrassed he was. When I explained that he was NOT to process the tip for the driver or I would dispute the charge he replied«so you’d like to tip him how much?» This went on for another 15 minutes before I gave up. Went to finally eat — the order was wrong. Never. Again.

The previous owners knew what they were doing. They had only a handful of items on the menu, but they made them well. Now, the new owners have turned this place to a middle eastern spot with 75+ items of trash. I tried giving them a shot recently and didn’t even get food because my friends and I couldn’t get past the horrendous service. Waited at the counter for 5 mins to get eye contact and waited an additional 10 just to talk to someone about placing an order. Then, we waited for over 45 mins for our order(large pizza, salad & fetuccini pasta), to be told after that they couldn’t make the pasta we requested. So we cancelled our order due to sloppy customer service. I remembered that I loved this place over 5 years ago. but the place was also in better hands. All the reviews that praise their kabobs and such, happened to forget that the Guidos at this location was once praised for what they are supposed to sell. Italian food.

Very very very bad. …unless you like pizza Armenian style, …of mostly dry bread? Their large double cheese pizza looked like a small-sized pizza on a large-sized crust. This«spot» of pizza was not only lost on crust, but the amount of cheese and sauce was maybe half of what a «regular-sized» pizza would’ve had — no where near what was ordered — a large double cheese pizza. Maybe he’s conserving his toppings at the cost of his customers? This was a real joke to even call it a pizza? I DONOTRECOMMENDGUIDOS at 3307 N. Verdugo in Glendale.

a travesty. there is nothing guido about this place. notice that nowhere on the menu does the word italian appear. pizza, ziti, parmigiana, these are just labels to help them know which can or box to open. pepperoni pizza was awful, anyone could make better at home. a third of the pie was untouched by cheese or sauce, it looked like a spin-art pinwheel(see photo) or low tide at the swimming hole. very scant toppings — minimal cheese, one slice had no pepperoni on it at all. the chewy crust was no better than boboli, perhaps worse, but there sure was plenty of it. it made richie palmer’s disc look like a sicilian masterpiece. meatball sandwich was in the same class, a french roll pathetically under-fed with 6 cocktail meatballs lost in sauce, cheese, and wet, gummy bread(see photo). the 2-inch sliver of cheesecake was $ 3. tasty, but not that precious. i got no napkins, no utensils, no plates, no grated cheese, no red chili flakes, no pepperoncinis, however did get a bag of lays potato chips and an unidentified and unwrapped lahmajoun that i did not ask for. the trophy in this first and last delivery from guido’s goes to, of course, the driver, who had more aromatics going on than the food. after i signed the bill he studied it with a flashlight and as i stood watching him, holding his tip in my hand, waiting for him to say something profound, he asks if i have cash. i say, uh, i just signed because i prepaid. he says yes, you prepay, you have cash for tip? very stylish. delivery was sooner rather than later, but everything is easier and faster when you don’t give a sheep or couldn’t give a flock. they cater, just in case you have people you’d like to insult all together in a group setting. anyway, no. never again. i look forward to seeing the«closed» tag at the top of their Unilocal listing.

OH. EM. GEE. Move over Ameci’s! I’m afraid I have found my go to take home pizza place, and the best thing about it is, it’s on my way home from work! I was seriously looking for a place that had good pizza, had good deals, good pasta, garlic bread and good salad. I have found that with Guidos. The first time I ordered the Italian Dinner Special, which comes with a large cheese pizza, pasta of your choice, dinner salad and garlic bread. All for about $ 20(that’s with tax included). How can you beat that? The pizza has great taste to it, it isn’t just cheese melted on dough with pizza sauce on it. I like that you can taste the oregano and other spices that are used, it really makes for an original tasting pizza. Loved the spaghetti with marinara sauce, they even melt cheese on top of it for you for free. Large dinner salad has really good tasting dressings that they give you and the garlic bread is pretty basic, but the other food is so good you don’t really care that the garlic bread isn’t anything special. The owner of this place(I’m assuming owner because he was the only guy working there besides another one that was prepping pizza) is also really nice, it makes you want to come back. Love this place!
