This place is great. They have ping-pong air hockey and pool tables. The beer is cheap and on some nights you can hear some brave karaōke die hards whaling away. I used to order wings from this place and they are good but one day I saw a couple of cockroaches on the floor of the back entrance which is right next to the kitchen. That door is usually left open and all those critters are too close to the kitchen for my comfort. Another thing is that the floor is uneven so it kind of feels like a fun house in that respect. 8 ball corner pocket… gotcha!

Not too shabby of bar/pool hall! To begin with, the place is HUGE! If you are there to play pool, you have lots of table options for sure. A huge perk for my bf and I is that they show UFC fights for like typically a $ 10 – 15 cover charge. They only have a few tvs but they project the fights on large projector screens which does the trick. Their food menu is small but makes sense given the type of huge crowds they tend to get. A few down sides: their kitchen is apparently really small so if your there to eat AND watch a fight, get there early and eat first. Their kitchen gets super backed up and sometimes they close it down during the fights. Secondly, we had a really odd interaction with a waitress last night. We kept trying to get the waitress’ attention who was working our section of the bar and she legitimately kept ignoring us. At that point there was only a handful of ppl in the entire establishment and we were really trying to get our food order in before it got swamped. So finally my boyfriend basically walked up to her to try and catch her and she said she would be right with us. We then proceeded to watch her walk… no…mosey around the bar trying to find odd things to do(pick up a random glass here, talk with her coworkers, hug a patron, pick up pool cues). She basically would not come and take our order??? So finally after another 15 – 20 minutes, some random woman walks over to us and announces that our waitress told her that we needed service?#! She said she was the bartender and she even stated that she didn’t know why the waitress just didn’t help us herself? I told her I was wondering that myself lol? All in all, our bartender turned waitress was super awesome and nice, and definitely made up for the other woman who obviously needs an attitude adjustment lol.

Where are the foosball tables?!? I used to come here all the time to play foosball and pool, now they got rid of the best part of the whole bar, the foosball tables:(despite that the drinks here are good although they can be a bit expensive and the pool is just as expensive too unless you come during lunch time, but who goes to a bar at 12pm?!? They need to bring the foosball tables back :(

Great local bar with many pool tables & darts in the back. Karaōke on Fridays and now on Sundays, too. Some of the tables have been roughed up and usually the ones in the back or center are better. Ask the pool attendant for powder because they don’t just leave it out or have hand chalk spools like other places. The bartenders and wait service are very, very slow here which makes it almost not worth going to if you have to wait 10 – 15 mins or more on average for drinks or food. Food is decent for what you can expect from a pool hall. I wish the bartenders were quicker & friendlier. Maybe they should hire more or better bartenders. Most places whip up drinks in 3 mins or less. Bathrooms are usually clean. Karaōke nights are the best nights and some people bring their own instruments for enhanced karaōke. Parking in front of the block is free after 10pm or there is free 90 min parking in the garages every few blocks around Brand Ave.

Terrible service and the punching machines don’t work!!! You guys owe me $ 7! One of the waitresses gave us the stank eye the whole time… Geez ok bye! You’d think they’d up their standards considering their billiards fares are so high I once had to bail a friend out! Booo

Awesome place to come play billiards. Plenty of space and a bar ready to serve drinks. This place looks fun to come and have a chill time on a weekend afternoon. I came on a Monday and it was pretty empty. Yet the service and friendliness of the staff was great. There are plenty of tables here if your sole purpose is to come and play billiards. The drinks on tab don’t look bad either. Parking is best at the nearest garage. A nice cool place to visit in Glendale if you’re looking to hang out with a group of friends.

This is review is solely based on a UFC fight night. It took us an hour and a half to receive our food and drinks. Our waitress never came back to check on us. I had to go to the bar to find her in order to close out my tab. Never again!

Went here yesterday to grab a few drinks with some friends and the beer here is cheap! Ended up drinking more than I should have. Not a good place to pick up guys/girls though. The men here are pretty creepy. LOL

I have been obsessed with playing pool lately, and this place totally quenches my fix. The staff are very friendly, there are PLENTY of tables, and they have some good happy hour prices. The place is nice and laid back and totally casual; I love that I can look like crap from working all day and just stop in for a beer and some pool. I only have two problems with this place. First, the clientele can be a little annoying. Multiple times I’ve been playing at a table next to other players that pay no attention to where they’re swinging their cues. I also think that the hourly prices for the tables are a a little too much, especially since the place is not high end.

Cool place, friendly staff. If you’re looking for an easy going night of fun, this is the place. They have like, 15 – 20 pool tables and a great happy hour menu. It’s a very sports bar environment, with bar food, but that’s cool if you’re just looking for a chill, fun night.

I’ve been here plenty of times before but this is the first time since I’ve became a Unilocaler. 5 stars because the service is awesome the food is good(especially the nachos) and the liquor and selection of beer is great! Tonight was karaōke night and I have to say… There was some pretty talented customers here singing. Definitely coming back soon.

Pool and ping pong tables, karaōke, full bar, and food. They have everything! a bunch of people singing on the top of their lungs on the weekends. I used to come here a lot with my coworkers after closing shift. drinks are about $ 7 pitchers are $ 14 food is ok, reasonable prices. Also, their bathrooms are for 1 person only. but I’m confused… do guys really not care sharing a small stall with another guy? I heard one guy was using the urinals and another, a complete stranger just comes in and started using the toilet.

We go here on occasion to watch a game/fight. Great deals, cheap menu & cheap recreational activities. It’s not the Ritz so come here in your comfortable attire ladies & gents. Service was alright, we got refills without request and food was good. Not the best thing ever, but good all things considered. We’ll be back — it’s walking distance anyway, so no unsafe travels here!

This seems like the kind of place that’s great if you’re a regular, but they don’t seem to cater to new business. The people doing karaōke were serious about singing, and I got the impression that they hung out here often. They looked like they were having a great time. The service was decent and they made strong drinks, but the food was terrible and a HUGE rip off for the price. I’ve never felt so cheated.

Charles’s Garbage Billiards I came to meet up friends here. Place seems like a typical Billiards place. Overpriced drinks. This place favors the regulars for sure. The service, was a joke. I’ve been in my share of dive bars, but at least the staff is cool. I had told the waitress that it was my first time there; and wanted to know how to rent a pool table. Her response to me «I’m just the waitress» I can tell you are«just the waitress» but at least point me to the right direction. Next; I walk up to the bar to try and order food. The bartender tells me to order from my waitress. I tell the bartender I’ve been waiting for the waitress for 15 minutes. The bartender tells me «well…just continue to wait» I tell the bartender that I’ll just order from the bar then, since everyone else was able to order from the bar. The bartender tells me «Well then you better eat at the bar then» You are going to trip out because I’m trying to spend money at your establishment? Ridiculous. This place takes the crown for WORST service ever. I’ve received better service at the local bar in Barstow. Waitress was super rude. When we asked to speak the manager; she was EXTERMLYRUDE. Trashy employees. This place is a JOKE.

My buddy and I walked into this place on a Monday night for a nightcap before heading home. As I was taking my ID out to show the bartender, all of the money fell out of my wallet in between two dudes who were drinking hard liquor. The money did an awkward dance down to the floor, making its way into crevices between the two barstools. I knelt down and hurriedly picked up my cash so as to minimize the amount of time I was down there. Something about it just didn’t seem manly. That was confirmed as I got up, and one of the dudes chuckled. He chuckled harder when I ordered a small beer instead of a large beer. I was pretty sure I was going to get beat up and that my recently picked-up money would be liberated from me. But it was all good. Both guys shook my hand, and my buddy and I took our beers outside. The big plus for this place is the outdoor seating. You can sit out there and smoke cigarettes and drink beer and people watch on Brand. There weren’t that many people out there at that time of night, which gave it a backyard feel. People bitch about the insane heat of the Valley, but with insane heat comes awesome evenings. Charles Billiard is one place to grab some cheap beers and enjoy the night. Oh, I guess it’s kind of «divey,» though. I love that, but some people get all uptight about it. Hey, prissy person, why do you insist on sitting in a hot and crowded bar surrounded by assholes and paying $ 10 for a beer? Because you’re a moron who doesn’t like«divey» bars.

This place has everything! Pool tables, karaōke, tvs everywhere, full bar! We were around the area and were trying to find a place that was showing the basketball game, and saw this place while driving down and decided to check it out. They were showing the game and had the sound on! Yippie hooray. They also have a bunch of pool tables, not too sure if they charge to play though. Well drinks are $ 7(with the house alcohol) and a pitcher of beer is $ 14. A little high for my well drink but it was strong! Also street parking is $ 1 per hour before 10pm, not bad at all.
