This doc is now part of a group practice called Valley Cardiovascular Specialists(VCR) in Burbank. My experience as a first-time patient with this guy was absolutely horrible. I left shaking and sweating from it, and I’m quite sure I’ve never had such a reaction to any medical professional in my life. This so-called«doctor» doesn’t seem to give a crap at all. He flies through questioning, speeds through the exam, doesn’t review EKG results(and when asked, responds that there’s «nothing to look at»), acts judgmental over minor things such as a moderate wine intake, asks me three times if I use recreational drugs(I was in business attire, so where this assumption came from, I have no idea) and responds to questions flippantly and as if the extra time required to answer something is a big pain in the ass. He has zero sense of humor, zero people skills and zero indication that he belongs in the medical profession at all. I rarely rip people a new a-hole, but as a worried patient coming in with chest pain, palpitations and shortness of breath, I should definitely have been treated differently. The staff at the practice in Burbank are very nice, however, and they immediately accommodated my request to switch doctors for my follow-up exam. Hmmm, perhaps this has happened before since they were so quick to switch me, no questions asked? Thanks to them, though, I’ll still be a patient of the medical group, but if I see that dude at my next visit, I will NOT try to be nice like I did during my appt. Upon reflection, I have decided that he can bite me.
