Just moved into the neighborhood a month ago. My kids love this pizza! They can’t seem to get enough of it! The food is great also! Must have improved since the last negative reviews!

my sister has Celiacs disease and she is very picky of which restaurant to go to. Sergio’s makes sure that her gluten free pizza and pasta aren’t cross contaminated. If something got cross contaminated, a friend of my family who works there calls and tells her not to eat it and that they’ll come to our house with a new one. Sergio’s is a great place and also a comfy place where you can make yourself feel at home

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Sergio’s. Despite some of the other comments made, I’ll just say there is no such thing as perfect, sometimes people or businesses make mistakes or there’s some miscommunication when placing orders. If a customer is placing an order with special requests it’s important that those special requests are thoroughly explained(communication is key) instead of arguing with the person who took the order just request to speak to the owner who I can personally vouch for and say he would do anything to satisfy and please any and all customers to make things right. Luciano(the owner) is an absolute gentleman and would handle any situation in favor of the customer. I couldn’t speak more highly of this establishment as I have been a returning customer for the last 8 years and I’ve always been treated with citrusy and exceptional customer service. So I highly recommend anyone interested in authentic Italian food and the most delicious pizza to go visit Sergio’s and ask for Luciano, he’s truly the best! :)

It’s very rare to find a place to eat that has both good food and cares about what they serve. This place does both.

$ 3.50 for a slice of Sicilian? WTF? Next time I won’t be lazy and I’ll drive myself back to Sals in Glen cove where a Sicilian is $ 2.50. Pizza business is the highest profit margin in any food business. Do you really feel the need to be greedy? Btw the slice was average at best. You totally lost a customer

If u love undercooked raw food then this is your place! They can’t get anything right. One thing eating there but ordering from there is don’t! I feel robbed half the time because they rush and try to get it out the door too fast and because they don’t cook it properly it don’t taste good. Don’t believe me try my challenge. Order anything I list and u will see. Really is highway robbery! And would love it if they hire a good full time cook. Sausage peppers pizza(wet and everything will fall off) Cheese calzone(dripping and soggy) Baked clams(size of a quarter) not worth spending $ Potato egg hero(potatoes are always hard and under cooked like everything else) Depending on who’s working the regular pizza taste different. Sometimes it can be good and others not so good. I love vip on bell boulevard and from time to time will go out of my way to get that bc Sergio’s is a coin toss. Wish it was better but not right to customers who spend their money they work hard for and in return they give u something uncooked that they didn’t put any time into. Grandma always said the best ingredient is love and u do not get that what’s so ever!!!

An excellent small Italian Resturant. Great service(Sergio & Frank), clean everywhere including men’s restroom. Everything from pasta, meatballs, bread and pizza dough made right there and excellent. Pizza with numerous types sold by the slice or whole. Fourteen the day we were here. Sauces are as good as it gets in any of the best Italian Restaurants I have experienced from Italy through the USA. Highly recommend!

the food is good — not the best not the worst, but it’s right near my home they really need to hire better help… the food takes forever, and half the time i have to change my order because they’re out of something… i never knew of an italian place that runs out of calamari or zucchini before, but ok don’t make the mistake of calling and asking where your order is two hours after your odered, all you’re going to get is an attitude

I am kind of torn as to what rating I should give this restaurant. I have known Sergio’s pizza since it was Vogue Pizza. This place became a Friday night staple in our family for many years. The food NEVER disappoints. Its always fresh and delicious. That being said, recently, the only good thing about this restaurant stops at the food. 3 weeks in a row we placed orders, and all 3 times it was messed up. We requested a Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza, no cheese, the first night. I arrived to pick it up, and it had cheese on it. The man realized it as he was packing it, so took it in the back to scrape it off. He apologized, quite a bit. He offered to make us a new one, which wouldn’t normally be a problem, had I not been standing there 15 minutes after my original pick up time waiting. I informed him we would take it home and eat it, pizza is pizza. He was very apologetic which was nice. The following week, we made the exact same order, and again ran into the same issue, this time I waited for a fresh pie(because they discovered the mishap 5 minutes later then my scheduled pickup time as opposed to 15). What can I say, it was two simple mistakes. The food is delicious. So we ventured back a 3rd time. This time my husband went to pick it up. He waited… and waited… and finally when Sergio’s son asked him what he ordered, he appeared surprised. Then began apologizing. They had cut up our ordered pie and served it. It happens. We understand. So they began making a fresh pie. Which took another 25 minutes… on top of the 10 he was standing there before they realized the mistake. Soooo, my husband waited… and waited. Upon completion of the baked Buffalo Pie, my husband asked for the rest of our order. Again, he appeared stumped. The son asked what else we ordered, and my husband replied«chicken parmesan». He looked at the order, verified Chicken Parmesan, and quickly fixed a dinner and sent my husband on his way. Upon my family settling down to eat, we opened the«chicken parmesan» and discovered chicken marsala… We called to notify them of the issue, and the person on the other end literally argued that he gave Chicken Parmesan. No amount of reasoning with this man made him deviate that they prepared Chicken Parmesan. At this point, we were officially done. Their food is delicious, no doubt about it. Sergio makes an amazing pizza, and delectable Italian meals(even when they’re the wrong order, they’re still delicious). However, the headache we get from poorly trained staff, the excuses we get, and combining that with the price we pay for their food and services, makes the combination not worth it to me. We have gone to Vogue/Sergio’s for almost 14 years. We have since discontinued this tradition.
