This is hands down one of my most favorite places to enjoy either lunch or dinner, always quality food and hands down wonderful service, please note that most of the low ratings for this establishment are quite old and I would completely disregard just about every one that I’ve read. I absolutely love the specials of the week, and would recommend trying their skinny chicken wrap as well as their steak sandwich– the bread is always fresh and enjoyable, the meat always succulent and just an overall pleasure to indulge upon. I am always treated with superb customer service. Pat on the back to Amiri and staff who consistently bring their best.

Excellent service. Friendly and accommodating staff. Clean environment and most importantly … OUTSTANDING FOOD! I tried the Burger with Bleu Cheese, Asian Salad, Fries (regular as well as sweet potato) and sampled most of the sauces. DELICIOUS! And most everything is organic (a nice theme for this type of food) … including one of the bottled beers which was FANTASTIC! ‘Hat’s-off’ to Amiri & staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

Jacks Shack food is always good and fresh! I usually always order the Market Salad and usually have enough left over for lunch the next day! My husband loves their burgers as well and they do look delish– granola is sooo good too.
Prices are very reasonable, staff is always friendly as well.
The reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because I wish they would add a regular tossed and Greek salad to the menu and if calorie counts were added that would be even better!

Yum. I LOVE this tasty, organic, vegan-​friendly spot. The staff are always so friendly. I accidentally ordered regular fries instead of sweet potato fries today and they switched the order no problem — for no extra charge. My boyfriend loves their «all-​you-​can-​drink» natural, tasty sodas. Such a friendly, personal space. Tasty burgers. Oh, I really like their «green monster» organic green juice too. It’s not like candy, but it’s healthy and tasty for a green juice.

If this is the baby of the parent company Uncle Jacks Steakhouse, then they probably should have thrown the baby out with the bath water.
The signage from the street is confusing probably to get you in the door and the service inside is non-​existent. The banners on the windows cover the inside so you cannot see into the restaurant. The inside is dark and for the older diners could be an issue with seeing well. The cashier at the counter did not crack a smile during the whole transaction. She did not offer any extras for our burger or hot dogs. We asked her what game she was playing on her phone and she said, «oh I was talking to my boss». Yeah right, cause that phone was glued to you the whole time we were in the restaurant.
The burger and dogs were mediocre at best. No snap to the dogs and the burger was dry. The condiment area had spills and dribbles of ketchup and other assorted toppings.
I did make a quick trip to the bathroom, which is located downstairs. There is an elevator for those with walking disabilities. The bathroom was clean but weirdly the key was hanging out of the door.
There is parking in the rear of the building and in the front on the street.
Based on the poor attention to the customer and the more attention to the cell phone, and poor food quality, we will not give this place a second try.

A 30 minute wait for a $ 10 turkey burger. 2 customers in the place, beside myself.
No manager anywhere in sight. Juvenile and unhelpful staff.
The food itself was good.
Done correctly, there’s no reason that a place like this shouldn’t be packed every night.

I ordered a Burger fries and a soda not bad! Made fresh, nice décor, good food. It’s up there with the other shack places with one advantage they bring you your food… I like that.

We have been coming here for years but were not thrilled with out last visit. Decent burgers, but overpriced. Not thrilled with the tacos, for some reason I was expecting a crunchy taco and instead got a small flour burrito-​fajita type thing that was less than exciting, to say the least. Last time we tried to place an order for delivery, we were told that the minimum was $ 50 plus a $ 5 surcharge for delivery. I think this place might be confused as to whether they are a high-​end dining establishment or a casual burger joint.

Outstanding: fresh, delicious food and very friendly staff. They have umbrella tables outside.

Disappointed. The staff is the main issue here. No assistance navigating the all organic menu. Wife’s turkey burger had zero seasoning on it. And no toppings because the staff didn’t explain to us which toppings were free or additional charge since he menu board is not clear. My pulled pork sandwich was passable, because of the bread. Fries were lousy. Place was pricey for what you get. Not rushing back. Did like the Boylan soda fountain though.

I’ve been meaning to stop in for a meal and glad that I finally did. The interior is nice for a lunch spot. Clean and spacious. MY husband and I ordered lunch for take away. The lobster roll for me, and the pulled pork for him, with sweet potato fries to split. The fries were how I like them: crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The lobster roll was nice, fresh and flavorful with celery added in for a little crunch. The pulled pork was very fine-​pulled and had a good balance of sauce. I look forward to trying other options next time!

You cannot beat their healthy and organic choices and the food is delicious. Highly recommend.

The lobster roll was amazing! The food for me and my family was perfect for lunch. The healthy food options were awesome. The highlight was exceptional service-​Amiri, the man who was working, provided an unforgettable customer service experience. We will surely be back!

I’m so confused by their «tacos». Why is it wrapped in a whole wheat wrap instead of a corn tortilla? Also, it comes with absolutely nothing. The steak taco had onions and peppers in it, and some sauce. That’s it! Nothing else. It tasted pretty terrible!
And IMHO corn is healthier than whole wheat, so I just do not get it.
Their juice was pretty good, so I will give it that. But the rest, skip it!

The women working the register was far from friendly. Didn’t even crack a smile. I know the sign says please allow 10 mins for your food to be made but we were the only ones in there so I timed it after reading that sign and it came out 20 mins later. Was just meh. Was actually kinda disappointed that I went for another meal after.

3.5 stars, This place is just an average burger place, without the distinguishable natural flavors that I could easily point out at Bareburger. The service is pretty good and the kitchen is very quick. The prices are a bit overpriced and the burger did not feel like an 8 ounce one. It doesn’t come with anything, so a burger and a large fries can reach up to $ 12-​$ 13. The burger was cooked well, but was a bit bland. I think they were relying on the abundance of amazing sauces that they had there. Décor is interesting, but it isn’t my favorite. The burger was a bit greasy, but overall, the toppings were nice. The french fries were very good, but the sweet potato fries had an interesting texture. Overall, a decent burger place for a quick, yummy burger.

Okay, I do have to agree that the burgers ARE overpriced. I’m not saying I cannot afford $ 10 though. The burgers are very skimpy and small for how they are priced. The guacamole I add was very bland too. Not worth it. If you are trying to add flavor to your burger, just douse your burger in one of their 6 sauces they have on the condiment bar. Otherwise the burger itself is pretty tasteless.
Mine was so pink that you could still hear a heartbeat.

The French fries were okay. Got the Cajun ones. They are skinny almost shoestring style.
They overall atmosphere of the dining room was cozy and clean. I may come here again but not for the burgers.

Good food and it’s clean also there is also Nice staff. Greatest burgers in the US and its got no steroids and it is natural. But its almost impossible to get a chance to win a free thing on the spinning wheel. But prices are good.

Went here today for lunch cause I was in the mood for a burger, and wanted to try something new.
The food:
The burger was excellent, cooked well and big. They put some sort of «secret sauce» on top which was fantastic. not sure if they bottle it, but I would be interested if they did. Fries knock it down a star – they were overcooked and a little hard. I had them «dusted» with some cajun spices. Meh to the dusting. Although they did have a variety of sauces, (various BBQ type conconctions, etc) These were fantastic.
The service:
Asked for suggestions from the cashier, since it was my first time. She was very helpful and friendly. Not a sit down place, so service is not that big a deal.
Atmostphere;
It’s a casual spot. not a big deal for me. I just have it here cause I’m trying to follow a format for my new reviews! :-)
Will I go back:
This is the most important part of my review. Since i work in the area, the answer is yes! I look forward to raising the stars, cause I’m sure hte fries today were an aberration.
