This place has one of those locations that you would drive right on by unless you were going here specifically. Don’t be fooled. The food here is very good and the portions are large. The restaurant is relatively clean, but due to the dim lighting, I’m not comfortable to say it is spotless. The soups are served hot and are tasty. The Italian dressing is very good, but might be a bit strong for some. It gets you right in the back of your throat… must be the vinegar. I had the veal and found it to be prepared to my expectation. The sauce is somewhat bland, but good nonetheless. The dining room also contains the bar, so it can get loud. The downside is that the service isn’t as attentive as I would like. Overall, this is a very good restaurant.

Tuscany Grill is a decent Italian restaurant in Hunterdon County. It will not wow you but it’s not bad for a night out if you’re craving Italian food. My wife ordered the shrimp scampi which was good, although the shrimp was a bit over cooked. I ordered veal capricioso which consisted of veal cutlet, mixed greens, onions(way too many) and fresh mozzarella — it was a tasty dish and they didn’t skimp on the portion. The best food on the menu is the wood fired pizza… nice thin crust. The service was acceptable this evening, although I have dined there in the past and experienced some very slow service. Overall this is really 2.5 stars… nothing amazing, just ok. I’m thinking maybe some wood fired pizza and beer at the bar next time.

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is consistently great, and they serve giant portions that are well worth the money. Finish it off with homemade tiramisu and a cordial and you will leave 100% satisfied. Don’t be in a rush and you will enjoy every minute. Highly recommend!

Good food and brick oven pizza. Mid-week specials are good too. Customer service is horrible. The owners seem like the unhappiest people and that spills over to their clients.

Service was very lacking tonight and for an Italian place the pasta wasn’t all that great.

I have been going to the Tuscany grill for years now and it has never let me down. Their wide variety of pizzas is very good as well as their entrées

Won’t ever go back! Don’t waste your money and it is pricing for what you get. Nice warm bread then it comes with diner butter pats at meals over 20 dollars I would like butter in a dish please. Both meals came out wrong. The one meal didn’t even have all the ingredients list. The same meal was to be served over pasta when I ask even the waitress said no but the menu said other. Save your money!!!

We had a luncheon here after my husband’s funeral. Even though we thought there would be about 30 – 35 people, it turned out to be more like 50. No problem at all! The owner, Mike, was wonderful and the food was great.

We have been going here frequently for the last year or so on the recommendation of a friend — and it’s great every time. The atmosphere is nice, very family friendly and the food is fresh. Most everything on the menu is good, but the bruschetta is a must have! Made to perfection with awesome fresh bread. The brick oven pizza is solid too.

wouldn’t go back here if it was free and free drinks. worst food and even worse than that was the owners wives attitude as a waitress. I was so turned off when some friends said they were going there over the holidays with a large group I told them of our experience. They went, called me and said you were right, take this one off your list because its that bad, they said their food was cold, drinks were weak and service horrible just like we experianced.

We come here often, usually every weekend. The food is great, and the bread is baked fresh and is amazing! Great Italian food in hunterdon county. Servers are also friendly and kind. Definitely worth the visit!

Worst customer service I have EVER experienced. The food was overpriced for mediocre quality. They made a mistake with the receipt, the prices on the receipt didnt match the menu. And when we inquired whether there was a mistake, the server(the mom, since its family owned) told us the computer changed the prices. Huh? After trying to figure out what the actual problem was, she started yelling at us and told us to SHUTOURMOUTH! That is unacceptable! I would give them 0 stars if I could because thats what they deserve.

Food is always good. Just hope you don’t get the owner’s wife as your waitress. She is the worst. Never asks you if you want another drink, never brings more bread, never brings water, never asks about dessert, never checks on anything at table. I know many people who go here and say the exact thing. It’s really a shame because the food is that good. If they had a different waitress easily a 4 or 5 star place.

Delicious homemade food, friendly staff. Atmosphere is nice, but I wish the location was a little better! I would love this place to get more business. Decorations and interior are very nice, but the main room is a little chilly and a tad dark. Overall, a lovely place to have lunch, dinner, or just a few appetizers and drinks.

I have eaten here twice and both times the food and service were very good. I can’t understand why the owner parks his SUV out front with a banner draped across it advertising the place, it makes this nice upscale looking restaurant look low class.

This is our new favorite Italian Place. We have eaten here four times and the food was excellent every time. I brought my family here to celebrate my wife’s college graduation and everybody raved about the food. That says it all. Service is a little slow, but its well worth the wait.

This place really gave me false hope. The bruschetta was awesome I loved it, the pasta fagioli was pretty decent– even with undercooked noodles. However the lasagna and stuffed shells were disgusting. The sauce was borderline inedible, bitter, salty, and gritty. The meat in the lasagna was the consistency of play dough. And the cheese on top of it was a half inch thick and gross. The salads had dirt in them and the Italian dressing was so acidic my date wouldn’t eat it. The waitress ignored us, the bus boy hid around corners. She didn’t check on us once and brought my date the wrong alcohol and didn’t offer to get him the right alcohol. I don’t care if she owns this place or not she needs to work on her recipes and her attentiveness. She was all over the other tables where the guests were over middle age, so I assume she thinks she won’t get much of a tip from a younger crowd. AVOID!

Not bad, good portion sizes. The pesto was more about salt than fresh basil, and both of our dishes were way oversauced in general. Pasta cooked perfectly, friendly service and not too bright inside which I love! :-)
