Miss Dottie’s Pound Cake

i have never tasted cake this good in a long time.
You can tell these cakes are made with love and the best products are used. I would normally share a pound cake with others, but not these cakes. When I get one I totally hide it and enjoy the whole cake by myself.

A wonderful friend treated me to a Miss Dottie’s Pound Cake … aka a little wheel of heaven! (BTW, it wasn’t so little!)
True story.
This pound cake is running neck and neck with my other favorite pound cake … my daughter’s. The problem with that is my daughter only makes her pound cake once a year, around Christmastime!

My cake lasted a week and it stayed moist the WHOLE week! Will-​power was required.

I had Miss Dotties pound cake for the first time at Christmas. OMG it was the best Pound Cake I have ever eaten. Her cakes usually feed 12 – 16 people so she instructed me to cut it into pieces and freeze it. Her cake lasted all of 3 days and was consumed by only 3 (Me, my husband and daughter). That alone tells you it was really really good! I then purchased several as christmas eve gifts for various parties I was attending.
If you haven’t tried her cakes, I would highly suggest you get on her website PRONTO and order some or stop by Café Amano to purchse it directly. Once you tried it, you will be HOOKED too…
PS, she packages them really pretty too!
