Got food poisoning from a lamb kebab dish here on 2÷14÷16. Would not recommend this place.

We’ve been seeing this restaurant for a few years and we finally were able to stop in and eat. The food was excellent!!! They have a great selection of wine and beer. The staff was professional and courteous. I will be back.

It had been a while since I had great Indian food. I was very happily surprised to find they had brown rice here, always a plus when there is something a little more guilt free! I ordered my usual go-to Indian dish. The Chicken Tiki Masala. It came out extremely good. Very rich in flavor, tender, and it tasted so good smothered over my rice. The Naan bread they made fresh there was absolute yumminess! Perfectly crispy and soft where it needed to be. I just wanted to carb the hell out of myself with it, but I gathered enough strength to only eat ½ of a piece. Went with about 12 others and we were all completely satisfied. Service was great, we were greeted nicely and waiter came to check on is throughout the meal to see if anything was needed and if everything was good.

Great food, great service, great vibe. Indian fare is the emphasis here, prepared and served by folks of Nepalese background. We had a great time here.

This was probably the weakest, tasteless and most watery Indian food I have ever eaten. The service was atrocious and we were kicked out because«someone else was waiting». The naan was pretty good, but I am not sure how this place has 4.5 stars.

Wholly satisfying and remarkably delicious! Had the Saag Paneer, Vegetable Curry, and the Daal for entrees and the tomato soup with samosas for starters. Spices used and overall flavor was complex and intriguing. Indian food, when done well, seems to have a unique balance of subtlety and this place nailed it. Everything was simply exceptionally well executed and the service from everyone was perfect and totally on-point. Would highly recommend!

The location of this gem is phenomenal! My food was fresh, and tasty! I Ohhhhed and Awwwwed after every bite! I had the curry prawns rice and naan. I only wish they would take the tail off the prawns as I ended up wearing my dish on my brand new white blazer sooo not a good idea to eat curry while wearing white lol won’t do that again. The customer service was great. The wait staff provided history on the restaurant and that only added to the wonderfulness of the place. When I am in the area I will run back to get some more of the yummyness

I went to eat there on November 4th2015 at 7:30 pm with my girlfriend and when we walked in the waitress asked us how many in our party and sat us down. Next thing we waited about 15 min and we didn’t even receive a menu or something to drink… I’m furious about their service.

I eat here all of the time. The food is fantastic. So why 4 stars? On more than a few occasions, they’ve been out of some staple dishes I like and don’t seem to ever have their kiln ready to make naan by noon. Why open at 11:30 if you can make naan until after noon? That seems odd to me but the Yeti Special and spinach dishes are so terrific it’s easy to forget.

My son treated us to a fabulous dinner here over the weekend. we were pleasantly wowed by the food and service. The menu choices are plentiful and we ordered plenty to share from every part of the menu. The food is exceptional! Lots of locals on a Sunday night which speaks well for this restaurant. My favorite was the filet mignon sizzling platter. The only miss was the pistachio ice cream… it is not ice cream it is ice milk. We ate our dinner on the lovely patio on a lovely evening. i just sigh in contentment when i think back on this lovely dining experience! i have overused the word lovely, but really everything about dining here is absolutely lovely!

This was such a great find in Sonoma! It’s right next to a pricier Italian restaurant and I’m so happy we chose to come here instead. The food was amazing and the prices were very reasonable! The interior décor looked very authentic and it gave the place a very nice vibe overall. There were only a couple other parties there besides us(we were eating a very late lunch) and we were free to choose our own seats. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and food came out fairly fast! I ordered their fish curry lunch special. Their lunch specials come with salad and rice. I really enjoyed the fish curry! The fish was super tender and the flavor of the fish blended very well with their mild curry, which wasn’t too spicy but still had a lot of flavor. It was creamy but not heavy(thank goodness. it was a very large plate of curry). They give you a generous serving of rice as well – just enough to finish all of the curry, in my opinion. It was delicious! I also ordered garlic naan on the side. It was very good as well. Jut a tad bit oily, but you can tell it was freshly made and came straight from the oven. I was very pleased with this place overall. Will definitely make a stop here if I’m ever in this part of Sonoma County again.

First time eating Indian food and it was so tasty. My 15 year old son even thought it was fabulous. Not knowing what to order, our server was very helpful in pointing out the most popular dishes. We started with the vegetable momos which were very tender and full of flavor, served with 3 different sauces which were also a fantastic compliment. The green cilantro sauce was my favorite and went well with everything we ordered. We shared the fish curry(tilapia) which was so tender, perfectly prepared in a curry sauce that just exploded with flavor. The garlic naan was like a party in my mouth, I could eat 2 of these. We had a rice made with shaved coconut, raisins, dried onion, apples, and not sure about the rest but it was very good. For dessert we chose the cocunut bread pudding and was not disappointed, not too sweet but hit the spot to finalize out craving. We will definitely be back. Make reservations as I noticed they have limited seating and many local fans.

Tip: leftover Yeti food is even better warmed up the next day. We tried something different finally. It’s a slow cooked lamb curry called Rogan Josh. The lamb was cubed and so tender it almost melted in my mouth. The sauce was flavorful and dense. Although I could not perfectly identify the ingredients or spices separately, I imagine that this dish is complicated to make. There was a hint of ginger, clove, and cinnamon but really, all together the sauce and lamb were unbelievably savory. Try it. You will thank me. Oh, and I’m pretty sure it was even better reheated for lunch. Really a 4.5 star place.

Yeti is an outstanding place to enjoy Indian-style food. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. And, the atmosphere is delightful, and in a scenic spot like the Old Mill in Glen Ellen who can ask for more? For all those out there that enjoy Indian, Pakistani and Thai style foods, this is the place to enjoy authentic cuisine at its very best.

I want to go back here again! We were kind of rushing because we had to be somewhere in 20 – 25 min but they attended us really fast and were very patient and kind! We just ordered the buttered naan and the chef’s special salad which had tandoori chicken, greens, avocado, mushroom slices, tomatoes – and slices of cucumber on top. It was still so beautiful how they arranged it and the sauce for the dressing was amazing. It was lemony and tangy. It was an overall refreshing salad and enough to keep us full for a while(for two people). Otherwise, if we had more time, we would have ordered the lunch specials. The place is really clean and the staff are super friendly. I loved what we had and I would go back again when in Glen Ellen!
