our church group went in early April. It was super muddy, so be prepared to walk in mud and through tiny rivers. the cabins were your normal, wooden exterior with a solid door. 4 – 6 wooden bunks in most rooms, with a plastic-y matress. the bathrooms smelled of bleach, but got the job done. the food was delish and the staff was very kind and helpful. it’s not a place to go if you’re looking to retreat with luxury. it’s not as rough as camping, but it’s close. there were many hiking trails around and I would definitely love to explore the beauty of Sonoma again. I would recommend this place, just be prepared for the mud if it’s near the winter time.
