Really liked the onion petals, wish they had more selection. Overall the delivery kid was very nice and the food was good to me however I am a vegetarian. My wife liked the way they do their Chicken strips.

Everything is just okay I guess, the burger was pretty good but everything is extra to put on it and the sweet potato fries is way too small a portion for $ 4. It’s just not worth it to come here. Drive a little extra and hit up a Five Guys. I went to the Downtown Café for better sweet potato fries.

This is my third time here, where the service and food was much better than my previous two times(service lacked and food order was wrong). I spoke with the owner, willing to listen to some of my recommendations and he ensured my order was cooked right this time. The young lady at the front was friendly and helpful. My only recommendation here, for which I had to ask on a take out order is to have the staff automatically include ketchup and napkins. I like the fact they have indoor seating and beer available. I paid about $ 6.00 for a burger and fries, which were all good. Looking forward to this place kicking things into high gear and staying around.

This place went downhill quick. Originally philly’s and cream, they re-branded to sid’s before summer 2014. Last summer their food was decent but the service and quality of food has been continuing to diminish. The texas burger isnt bad and their fries are good. But the hot dog was horrible and its pretty hard to mess up a hot dog. Service is always poor and their credit card machines are messed up often. I’d like to see a more consistent place open up here.

Asked if moosetracks ice cream contained peanuts and was told no. Bought it and ate it and I tasted peanuts. Googled moosetracks and unless Sid’s is different, it does have peanuts in it.

I’m giving it 2 stars not because the food was not good. It is solely on the fact that I found a hair in my sandwich. Why aren’t hair nets mandatory!!!

Very disappointed place misled by Unilocal s 4 stars. We ordered chicken steak cheese sandwiches, salad and chicken burger. All mediocre or worse than mediocre. Service is a huge ZERO! The guy who took orders at the front could barely speak God knows what language he was speaking. With an extremely unpleasant face, blindfolding to place orders is highly recommended. The sandwiches were tasteless and the minced chickens were sooooo dry was like chewing sawdust!!! Terrible! The guy said per local Health Dept regulations he had to cook the chicken to its max to meet the health code!!! What a… The wings were so stark, even worse than the sandwiches. Oh not to mention the long time waiting time after placing an order. There were only two customer sitting in the back tent dining area at the time. Do not go to this place waste of time and sense.

So I figured I try this burger joint. I ordered the chicken sandwich, fries and an order of wings. Sandwich was ok, chicken was tough in some spots, great buns though. Fries are fries and the wing were as good as any local bar around(minus the celery). I didn’t have high expectations because after all it is a burger joint .the food was better than I thought and I’m going to come back to try the burger next time thanks Sids !

Don’t go during baseball times, dinner time or anytime in the eveninh. They only had one girl at the counter, she was nice but the wait was insane. She had to take phone orders and help the line and couldn’t handle it. We waited in line for almost 20 minutes and then had to wait almost double the time for one burger. The manager should have been there to help her, or atleast hire another person. Ill go back eventually because I like their onion petals but only when no customers are there. Way too much of a hassle. If you do go get extra special sauce for the petals.

I went here for lunch today. For«all-american» comfort food(which isn’t hard to make) this was just not good at all. I ordered a chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato, french fries and mozzarella sticks. The Mozzarella sticks were burnt, had no flavor and tasted like they had been fried and re-friend over again. The french fries had no flavor either. The chicken sandwich was flavorless. The chicken had a weird taste, no flavor, just tasted of «grill». This cost me $ 20. I could think of a few better was to spend a $ 20. This place looks neat and it looks like it would have good food. But it doesn’t.

Tried once, will try again but I did like what I tried. Good options. Looks like all american in massapequa which is completely overrated except SIDS actually makes a burger with flavor and toppings.

Extremely over priced for the area. This place has such great idea with no execution. I love what they have done with the place but it is just poorly managed. I have been here 4 times and every time it is SLOOOW. Turtle speed! Burgers are good… they need a special sauce or something to really make it stand out from other places. Frosted flake chicken fingers? Uhm, I’ve heard of breaded in CORN flakes. Maybe they misinterpreted that one because they taste like you should be having a glass of milk with your chicken. Since every time it takes over 25 minutes for a burger and fries the family and I thought it would be a good idea to order online since their website is so up to date, very modern. Placed the order at 3:04 the website said pick up at 3:29, naturally we went a little earlier. When my mom arrived the girl smacking her gum at the counter had no idea what she was talking about and then went over to the printer and said«oh sorry we just got it». WHEREISTHEMANAGEMENT? Not only that, but then the girl had to manually put in the order for the kitchen. We ended up waiting and extra 20 minutes which defeated the entire purpose of the online order. Also, why have an online ordering system that doesn’t automatically get sent to the kitchen as well as the front of the house? This was used to save time and mistakes! When the restaurant gets an order from me DIRECTLY online in writing, then has to type it in again(mistakes can happen), then has to send them back to the kitchen(more mistakes can happen) what’s the point? Asked for honey mustard, forgot honey mustard. Asked for an ice water from the machine, the girl turned the SINK on. All the resources are there for his place to be spectacular it just comes down to poor training and management. In all, this place is good if you have all the time in the world on your hands.

Almost immediately after writing the last review my next visit was much better. It’s clear the owner took what I said to heart and fixed the small issues. My food was ready the moment I walked in, my drinks were ready and everything went smooth. I was able to get in and out and back to work in just minutes. READTHEOLDREVIEWTOO! Food here is amazing, everything I’ve tried has been perfect and I haven’t had a single thing here that I did not enjoy.

Ended up heading out this way because I was in the area and in the mood for a classic burger. We placed our order and paid and then went to the back of the restaurant seating area. The price of the meal was fairly reasonable for a build your own burger, fries and a drink and we waited for our food. ’ There was no one else there but it still took almost 30 minutes for our food to arrive and while me and my friend has both ordered the same thing, both were brought out at the same time and my friend’s burgers and fries were actually cold. The cheese wasn’t melted at all and the fries were soggy and cold. While my burger was fine my friend’s meal was terrible so it seems like a crap shoot. The reviews on this place seem way too high for the quality. I’ll give this place another shot one day but the first experience doesn’t set a good precedent for the future.

Five Guys in Hicksville used to be my stomping ground when I wanted a really good burger and fries. That has all changed since I discovered this mom & pop joint today. SOGOOD! For $ 8.75 + tax, I got the burger/fries/16oz fountain soda combo. Their fresh-cut French fries are on par with Five Guys, but their burgers are definitely better. I had the special House Burger, which has pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, and Russian dressing(it elevates this burger a lot more than it does for a Big Mac). Sid’s will cook the burgers to your desired temperature(medium for me), whereas Five Guys forces you to eat them well-done. Plus, the tomato & pickles at Sid’s taste way fresher and crisper. Also sampled the onion petals(think smaller but thicker, one-bite fried onion rings). They’re pretty good, but more importantly, are served with a kick-ass spicy mustard-mayo dipping sauce that brings it all together. The service is quick, friendly, and helpful. If you’re not getting take-out, they have plenty of outdoor seating; including a «beer garden”-like tent in the back(they sell a small selection of beer and wine), that can accommodate at least 40 people, with two big screen TV’s that can make a good spot for a sporting event. If you’re sitting outside, they’ll even bring the food directly to your table. They also deliver for a $ 10 minimum order. My only regret is that I didn’t try this place months ago! Oh, and do save room for a small ice cream shake at the end. Your arteries may say f#@k you, but your stomach will say thank you!

Overall 4 stars Food 5 Stars Service 5 stars Atmosphere 5 stars Value 4 stars Will I go back? Absolutely. Found this place by googling burgers on long island and being linked to a recent(as in within this last week) review on . Overall I will definitely be back. Food was excellent. Drive is a bit far for me, for lunch(from Roslyn), but worth it. Food as mentioned, is fantastic. I ordered a burger and fries. Excellent and Excellent. This probably won’t be a big deal, but they have hose Chik-fil-A style ketchup packets. This instantly won them points in my book. Will try other food on next visit. Staff was very friendly, helpful with questions, etc. Atmosphere They’ve put effort into this – erecting a tent out back with a tv. It’s not built for dine in, but they made it work. Kudos on the efforts. Value. This is the only ding – you get charged for everything, including lettuce, tomato and onions. Bacon I understand, cheese I understand. the rest? I didn’t like. Maybe I’m weird, i don’t like this kind of set up. I’d much rather have the price of the burger include ‘free toppings’ like lettuce, tomato, onions. But then again, if you’re a person who likes their burger bare, this setup is perfect for you. Bottom line is that this place has been added to my lunch rotation. Will be back!

their food is SOGOOD. My honey was working a side job in the area and bringing dinner home. the burgers and combinations are creative, but theyre not overthinking it and just preparing delicious food. their coleslaw is delicious, crunchy and not overly sauced, and on top of a sandwich… awesome. the burgers are juicy and tender, and they make this dressing thats french style but has a really great kick! i had fries with my food but donk ate them on the way home and said they were good. they also opened up a tent area with beers and dining, its a great addition to glen cove, i hope they stick around!

Hooray for Phillys & Cream! While I only partook of the Phillys and not of the cream, I can say with all confidence that this place is legit — delicious, hearty food with a twist. I like it! So, you’re thinking Philly Cheese Steaks, right? They have the classics, and they’re scrumptious, but they also have an entire menu of variations that you NEED to try. I went with the Buffalo Chicken — beautifully fried chicken breast coated in subtly spicy Buffalo wing sauce, topped with arugula and a wonderful bleu cheese dressing. So delicious! You have the option of getting your Philly on either a hoagie bun or a roll, but do yourself a favor — go with the big boy. You won’t regret it! Another must are their onion petals. I don’t know why no one ever thought of this before, because they’re freaking fantastic. Similar to onion rings, but a better shape for picking up and dipping, for sure — the onions are cut into petals rather than rings, leaving all sogginess and flimsiness aside. Love it. Great job, Pillys & Cream! I can’t wait to come back, make my way through the rest of your ample menu and finally try some of that ice cream. Yum!
