Hampton Inn & Suites St. Louis-Edwardsville

Rooms were nice and clean. Furniture could use a little cleaning, but that’s kind of expected in a smoking room. Breakfast was just breakfast. Enough to get you started and on your way. No room service… that was annoying since we stayed over the New Year weekend. Staff was very friendly and helpful. That’s always a plus for me because the staff can make or break your stay. They made my day. Overall, this hotel meets the Hilton standard and I would stay here again.

I stayed her with my wife over Labor Day weekend. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. This isn’t the Ritz Carlton, but if you are looking for a good place to stay that is clean, has good amenities, and won’t break the bank, this is it!

Clean, well run with friendly staff, convenient location with access to SIUE, Edwardsville and Glen Carbon, located right near I-​270 but with no freeway noise. Breakfast is boring but serves its purpose. Hey, you’re not paying for swank food here, nor do I want to.
My only complaint is that soundproofing is poor. We could hear footsteps in the floor above, conversations in the neighboring room, and every door clunking shut in the hall. Oh, and starting room cleaning before 9 seems like a dubious idea. Make sure to put out your «do not disturb» sign! Next time I stay in a corner room on the third floor.

I’ve waited until now to post my review, i was waiting for my Bed Bug bites claim to be resolved in a satisfactory manner. This week i received a letter from their insurance company stating «since the hotel has a routine pest control program in place i will not be compensated» for the 30 + bites I received from my over night Stay November, 19 2013 for an event at SIUE. I called corp they stated i had to go thru the hotel, spoke with the hotel manager she assured me she doesn’t have bugs. Referred me to their management office in speaking with Stacey she let me know that they called the pest control company out to investigate my claim and would send me a copy of the report. I called back and Stacey confirmed bed bugs were found. She has still not sent me the report. I have good faith in the Hilton Corp, I stay at their brand all the time. I now have serious concern how they handle the well being of their loyal customers Be warned do not stay at this hotel. It took over 3 weeks for the bites and itching to go away, this was with two prescriptions from my doctor.

This Hampton Inn appears to be pretty new. It was nice enough for a one night stay, room was clean, didn’t hear a bunch of noise throughout the night and the staff was friendly. Restaurants are about 3 – 4 miles away, so fairly convenient, but nothing within walking distance.

Nice Hampton! Enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and not hard to find.
