Place seems in good shape and clean enough. Staff nice. Members put their weights back on the rack and wipe down equipment. Imagine that?!
Lots of TV monitors w/​CC. Very competitive price for services offered.

If you can afford LA Fitness then this place isn’t for you. Doesn’t smell like a sweaty gym. Doesn’t smell like a spa either. Free wireless.
So far my experience has been good.

This location has been my first & last gym membership since 1998, so I suppose I’m a good candidate to review it. This gym has changed ownership so many times it leaves my head spinning. Currently, the latest ownership seems to finally have some staying power and has renovated nicely.
It is a basic WOW-‘work out world’ chain gym and has everything you need to stay in shape. You get a free training session, which I’ve had many of. Change things up to keep it healthier. The machines are modern and equipment is kept up. Today, and some days there is a definite smell in the back area, but I guess that’s par for the course. Bathrooms are adequate and typical, not always kept well at all times., but reasonable. I rarely have had to wait for equipment, but I usually go at odd times.
Staff always greets you with a smile, but they are ever changing faces. However, one young man Louis has been a loyal staff member for many years.
$ 10 a month? Super price if you’re like me and must get in your gym fix multiple times each week! There’s also an annual maintenance fee of around $ 25 to be aware of. There is also no issue cancelling membership, as I sadly found that both my son & hubby are not the gym type. Three stars for good price & fine equipment, but really no frills.

The gym was a little crowded due to he holiday and the stay was only so friendly. But I get a good workout in and achieved my goal for the day. The gym was clean and had everything I needed.

I, and several others, have been asking for chairs to sit and change our shoes and coat hooks for the exercise building, but that has not happened. In addition, the women’s bathroom is always out of hand soap, dirty and 2 of 3 lavatory stalls are without toilet paper. It takes a lot for me to complain, and I know that this is all done for a low monthly price, but common folks, these are small things that can enhance a member’s experience.

Have been charged for training which I cancelled month’s ago and treated like an idiot. Never have felt so disrespected.

If there were a «zero stars» they would certainly get it. They are scam artists working just inside the lines of being legal. Cancellation is made as difficult as possible, plus they continue to charge you after you cancel while they «process» your request. If you stop automatic payments AFTER they have RECEIVED THE CANCELLATION REQUEST, they send it to a collection service for the following month’s charges plus a collection fee! I thought this was just a crossing of the wires so I called Wow. The young man said to me that it’s a charge for the month they spend «processing» and when I questioned that, he hung up on me.
I’m sure he continually gets calls from people upset about this procedure. Save yourself and some money and annoyance and join somewhere else!!!

For $ 10/​month, the price is right.
They’ve got just about every machine you’d ever want to use. Granted, at any given time there are a few not working but they seem to get repaired fairly quickly. There are a ton of bikes, ellipticals, and treadmills. There seem to be plenty of free weights too.
They’ll be offering different classes (Zumba, bootcamp, etc.) down the street shortly that will come with the $ 20/​month membership.
My complaint, like several others, is the cleanliness. I know it’s winter and people come in wearing the shoes they’re going to work out in so sand gets everywhere but ALL of the time the floor is just totally manky. Really gross. Hair tumbleweeds, sand, etc. and then the ladies’ room floor is usually really gross and wet and always has a mildewy smell. I mention this because there are always 3 – 4 people standing around the front desk, but you almost never see any of them slide a mop around or wipe off a machine. Sadly, there are many patrons of this gym who don’t wipe off their machine after using it. It would be nice to see the staff take some initiative to keep the place clean. Who knows — it could prompt some of these folks to clean up after themselves. Judging by the lack of general cleanliness in the ladies’ room, I have had no inclination to use the shower there so I can’t comment on the conditions in there.
Parking can be a challenge some nights but the crowd thins out by 7pm.

For the price, it’s a great little gym. I workout at Poundstone Performance on the week days but travel on the weekends to the Hartford area. Since I’m up there, I wanted a cheaper place to lift that would satisfy my needs. Wow fitness is perfect in this regard. It’s large, clean and has a good sized weight lifting section.

Best deal for the money !!! So affordable it’s crazy I paid like 100 for the year. Love it ‚!!

I can’t comment on cancellation policies and the like, but this place is head and shoulders above my old gym, Cardio Express.
I regularly see employees out on the floor cleaning the equipment, no leaky ceilings, the locker room isn’t in a complete state of dysfunction and the equipment is better.
For those of us that like to lift, while this is no Iron Sport, it’s still a lot better off than any of the $ 10 a month gyms I’ve personally visited. 4 flat benches, a decline and incline bench, dumbbells up to 100#, squat rack and power cage, and NO BENT BARS. They even have a rowing machine. It’s freakin heaven compared to where I came from.
It’s also worth mentioning that the clientele and staff have always been pleasant and courteous. As a female in the weightroom I’ve dealt with some pretty disrespectful little twerps and annoying trainers trying to sell me crap, but people here have been overwhelmingly supportive or have just left me alone, which is all I really want. People are also pretty good about reracking weights, and the staff is around frequently tidying up the place.
All in all you can’t beat it for the price.

This place has tons of ellipticals (probably 40 or 50) The place certainly looked clean, and was full of normal people working on their fitness. It looks like you might get stuck in traffic if you leave here around 5. (Seemed like everyone was leaving work from the businesses on this street all at once) Everything you could need or want for 10 bucks a month. No rowing machine.

Membership cancelation Policies are wack…
Employees can’t even tell you what they are.

Ewww. I dont think this place has ever been cleaned.
