Service King Collision Repair of Elliot

Got rear ended and had to go to a collision repair for the first time. Very friendly staff, they finished sooner than they estimated and sent texts on a regular basis with updates and even responded if you text back. I would definitely recommend them!

Got rear ended and my insurance company told me to come here. Worst service shop I have ever experienced. They told me I would have my vehicle back by the end of the week it took two. Why would it take two weeks to repair a hatchback? Got my Jeep back and sped out of there like it was nobody’s business. Now I’m going back because it makes the most god awful noise when you open it, they forgot panels on the roof in the back and it leaks. I have a roof leak in my Jeep. They’re arguing with me about fixing their mistake because I waited a few months to bring it back in because I need my Jeep to go to school and work. Also they’re saying that I took off the panels. excuse me? Why would I take off the panels? What would I do that required me to take them off? And let me ask you this. Why would I expose the wires to make my Jeep look like a half asses piece of crap?

Oh wow! Where should I begin?
First of all, I really regret taking my vehicle to Service King (SK). The entire process was stressful. When, I called to make my reservation, the lady failed to mention that there was an Enterprise within the Service King location. This was after I told her that I needed a rental and had a rental confirmation number from the insurance company for Enterprise. So, I ended up going to pick up the rental car from another location.
I dropped my car off for five weeks. I received a ridiculous estimate within 4 business days. When I state that it was ridiculous, I mean that they were saying it was going to be over $ 10 000 in damage. My car is only worth a little over $ 11 000. So that means it was in danger of being totaled which is total bs. I did a little recon online and found vehicles that had similar damage that were fixed for less than $ 8000. These people are money hungry scums. They lack integrity and definitely do not care about their customers or the quality of work that they perform. The insurance company did not take a look at the car for about two weeks. Their estimate was much lower. The whole communication process during the five weeks was horrific. It got a little better in the final week. I wish I could have dealt with someone other than Ruth. Her people skills are non-​existent.
When I picked up my car, the ‘check engine light’ was on. Hmmm. it wasn’t on before. As a matter of fact, it has never been ON since I’ve owned the vehicle which would lead me to believe that Service King created the problem and it didn’t mysteriously appear when I picked up the vehicle. In addition, the hatch area was extremely dusty. It was clean, when I dropped it off. The back windshield wiper was put on backwards which leaves little faith in the employees of Service King. I didn’t notice it until the day after I picked it up since it was raining outside. :(How in the hell does a certified tech put a rear windshield wiper on backwards?
I did mention the check engine light being on when I picked up the vehicle. Ruth questioned it saying that it was on when I dropped it off. I told her no and she double checked the original paperwork. So, one of the techs ended up rebooting the system instead of checking on the actual problem.
Guess what? The next day the check engine light came on AGAIN. I had to make an extra trip back to Service King to get it fixed along with the rear windshield wiper. It seems as though they would have did a quality check before releasing the vehicle. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping that nothing else occurs because I don’t ever want to see this place again as long as i live!

I was recommended to take my vehicle to service king by the dealership that I purchased my vehicle from. Why would the dealer do that when my experience was so terrible, from customer service to the quality of work. I had to take my car back four times and I am still not happy with it. I will not go back there to be disappointed anymore. I have given up and am very disappointed in my dealership. :-(.

My car was sideswiped and my insurance company sent me to Service King. I’m skeptical of collision repair and Service King was awesome. The communicated so I always knew what to expect and what was happening. There were no surprises and the car looks like new.

I was sent here by my insurance company for collision repairs. I decided to get the rest of my car fixed because I had a previous paint job, at another shop that was chipping after two years. I was skeptical to have Service King work on my vehicle, but they exceeded my expectations! When they drove my (ten year old) Infiniti G35 up, it looked like a brand new car! Better than when I drove it off the used car lot. They even went above and beyond by polishing up my foggy looking headlights. The customer service was great and they had my vehicle done three days early. I called my husband to tell him about how nice it looked, he thought i was over exaggerating, but when I pulled up to the house he was equally impressed. Thanks Service King for making my old car look new again!
