I don’t know what happened to this place. I went to get Mani/pedi today and my daughter had a pedi. It was awful!!! I could have done the same job at home for free. I provided a pic of the design I wanted and they did horrible. They also had me buff my own nails!!! But the worst was my daughters. She asked for valentines day hearts. They used stickers!!’ They peeled off before I was done with my slow manicure. I asked them to paint hearts… wow. Awful. Smudged. Her stickers on her toe looked straight from the dollar store. I’m so disappointed. I miss the owners and the old staff. I will not be going back. These people were nice but did terrible work.

BUYER’S BEWARE! Kathy’s nail salon is located near my house so I wondered in for some pampering. The service was wonderful and I was extremely happy with the whole experience until I went to pay. I originally asked for Shellac on my nails both hands and feet. They sat me down at a pedicure chair and the manager brought me a «Specials» page with discounted pedicure options and I decided to go for the $ 30 deluxe package. The manager then said it’s $ 15 extra for the nail(as I heard) which I agreed considering my original request for Shellac on my finger nails. Again the whole experience was lovely until they told me I owed $ 70 as in SEVENTYDOLLARS! When I asked what the charges were I was told $ 30 for the pedicure $ 25 for the finger nails and $ 15 for the gel which she pointed out I agreed too. So it seems at Kathy’s Nails & Spa they bank on your lack of understanding and their minimal communication with you… Literally! I’m in the tipping industry so I believe in taking care of the ladies who took care of me regardless of the manager’s tactless manor so when all was said and done $ 84 out the door. Unfortunately being mislead into large purchases crosses the line for me so I will not be returning. Good luck!

Upon having realized that there were virtually no nail salons open on the 4th of July and only being in town for a few days, my mother and I decided to give Kathy’s a chance. Big. Mistake. We were seated after signing in and several minutes of waiting, explaining that we were only interested in one pedicure and one full set of acrylics. My mother was sat and then moved twice from chair to chair before even having her pedicure started and it took almost 45 minutes before she was even remotely attended to. Her pedicure was rushed, sloppy, and performed by multiple technicians while I waited aimlessly and had to find myself a stool to sit on. They pushed the extra charge«design» and gel polish when she specifically asked for a plain polish pedicure and quickly attempted to put her shoes on her freshly painted toes before they were even dry. Though we arrived at the same time, my full set was not started until approximately 20 minutes AFTER her pedicure was finished. I was moved from chair to chair to chair and spent a PAINFUL20 – 25 minutes having my current set of acrylics removed by two different technicians. The first of whom did NOT know what she was doing and the second of whom cut my fingers several times over, then blamed me for not having«soaked my nails before coming in». I’m sorry, I thought that was YOUR job. The aforementioned technician then proceeded to hurt several of my fingers using his electric nail file and suggested my mother go sit across the room when she protested his«techinique». During my full set application, the technician jumped up to assist several other customers who had arrived MUCH after myself and rushed through the whole job, leaving me feeling the complete opposite of relaxed. After TWOAND A HALF hours, the entire process was finished and I took my own hands out of the UV dryer and escorted myself to the counter because the technician had disappeared to help another customer. Upon paying, he asked me if I «had cash for his tip». Are you kidding me? I politely informed him that I was NOT happy and would NOT be returning, nor did I wish to tip him. WORSTEXPERIENCEEVER.

I love Kathy’s Pro Nails! Even tho sometimes I do feel like they are rushing even tho it’s nog busy. They have cheap prices and that really helps with this economy! I always get my eyebrow wax and pedicure with them and they do such a good job! Some times tho the design I want on my pedicure doesn’t turn out the way I want, but I think it’s because a lot of them can only do certain designs. Nice and friendly people!

I never knew was a bad pedi was until I came here. The staff was nice n friendly, but they do horrible pedicures. Even though the massage was nice– she barely nip my cuticles and the polish was lumpy and uneven and all over my skin and she just overloaded on the top coat that my entire nails and toes were soaked in topcoat! I guess u get what u pay for, I’ll never go back. On top of everything, it was a slow and quiet time of the day so there was no reason for her to rush on me.

This is such a great spot to get pedicures. They have a tiered pricing plan that starts at low as $ 15, which is called the basic«Princess Pedi», then goes up in increments of $ 5 as you add more things to it. Due to financial setbacks, I can only afford the princess pedi, but they always make it seem like I paid for the $ 40 one! I always go see David. He is phenomenal and remembers me every time I go in, which has been for over a year now. It is a very kid friendly atmosphere as well. The owners have two younger daughters who always keep my toddler company while I get to relax. :) They have great customer service, and know how to treat customers the right way to make them want to come back. Highly recommend! :)
